SIGNS | Pete Garcia - Omega Letter
The Lord is good. Here is another FANTASTIC article that put's things in perspective during this amazing time in Bible Prophecy. Pete has long standing relationships with many of the top prophecy teachers who came out against the Rev12 Sign. He was thus able to see clearly what was going on regarding their dismissive attitude regarding the celestial signs. This is an enlightening and ultra informative piece that needs to be read by everyone in the Bible Prophecy community.
Here is an extra long excerpt:
Concerning the September 23rd/Revelation 12 proponents, a predictable kneejerk-reaction came from the traditional talking heads (many of whom are respected prophecy experts). While I am appreciative of their past and even present contributions to our shrinking community, I was somewhat put-off by their apparent lack of scholarship in ‘earnestly contending’ for the truth. It’s easy to simply label someone a date-setter and move on, but becomes a little more challenging when they actually have to ‘see if these things be so’ (Acts 17:11). The fact is they didn’t bother or they simply honed in on the fringe elements of the group as evidence. Isn’t that the same thing we decry about our own detractors (skeptics, main stream media, etc.) do to us concerning Bible prophecy? Nevertheless, it reminded me of something a wise man once said,
He who answers a matter before he hears it, It is folly and shame to him.
Proverbs 18:13
Instead, what the “Pre-Trib Establishment” did rather, was to go on record condemning without confirming, and then claiming if the rapture was going to happen, it wouldn’t happen on that day. Not claiming something would happen on September 23rd is in my opinion, just as egregious and audacious as claiming something will. The fact the respectable types chose not to actually contend with the reasoned-voices (as opposed to the kooks), is what I found disappointing. It is possible that this particular astronomical alignment has meaning, we just don’t know what it is yet.

"The fact the respectable types chose not to actually contend with the reasoned-voices (as opposed to the kooks), is what I found disappointing."
ReplyDeletePlease don't take this the wrong way, because I am in no way trying to demean Pete here, but how exactly do you define a "kook?" That is to say, who gets to determine what or who a "kook" is? I am sure the Pharisees (learned men of the day) thought John the Baptist was a definite "kook." (The man was a hermit out in the desert, wore camel hair and ate locusts and wild honey.) And I believe you could say that most of the prophets the Lord sent to Israel were considered, ahem, unusual men...or at least the things they did were unusual. I also imagine that when we are all assembled in heaven, the "kooks" will be those who are rewarded the most, and rightly so. (Let's face it, most of us would never step out and obey the way the prophets did.) We should all be careful how we label others. The last will be first, and the first will be last. I think many will be surprised on that day who the "first" end up being. Just my 2 cents.
And again, I greatly appreciate Pete and his defence of the sign. No disrespect intended at all.
Sincerely,
Kay
Possibly a poor choice of word, but we understand what Pete was trying to say.
DeleteGood point....I didn't stop to consider the "kook" point. In my mind, I was picturing the "end-of-the-world" types.
DeleteTo clarify, I understand what Pete was saying, that he was disappointed in those intellectuals who chose the easier road to debunking by coming against those who are easier to dismiss (kooks) instead of those (reasonable types) who may have been able to hold their own in a debate. I agree with him completely. And I respect his candor and boldness in speaking his thoughts to his peers. That takes guts when you are in the minority. I respect those who take up for the little guy, it reminds me of Jesus :)
DeleteAgain, no disrespect intended. Just some personal thoughts. Love you all!
Based on the immediate context, the kooks are obviously those who can't base their opinions/observations with reason. In this case specifically within Biblical reason or with Biblical backing.

Marianne/Howard please go away
ReplyDeletePraise God, September. You put it so much more nicely than I did. I had to delete my own post and have a little listen with Jesus. Thank you to Through and Through for those 5 good little words. Don't need to be getting dragged down into the mud right now. God bless each and every one of you so richly who love His appearing. Hope to meet you all in the twinkling of an eye!
DeleteI have always looked forward to Pete's articles on the Omega Letter website and end up printing a good portion of them. He is open minded, good hearted and studious; not afraid of the supernatural. Like someone said recently, "there is a shelf life" to all the signs that are converging. Soon my brothers and sisters. Maranatha in Yeshua
ReplyDeleteWoohoo, the button is there for me to post again.
ReplyDeleteI have studied prophecy and how it ties to the events of the world for almost 3 decades. I have been called a kook, a nut, a tin foiler, crazy and many other things through the years when I tell some people. However there will come a time it will be recalled back to their memories. I just keep planting those seeds by telling people.
The bible does say we are a peculiar people so keep telling and boldly proclaiming the soon coming of Yeshua. 1 Peter 2:9-But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Nana
Titus 2:13
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI think the Revelation 12 sign happened and it was a sign but not of the rapture but of the birthing of revival or a great move of God. I watched a video of Kim Clement from 2009 speaking about the revelation 12 sign before Scott Clark made the discovery. God prophesied that this sign would be discovered and would come to pass and it would birth a great move of God. Then God trusted Scott with the knowledge and discovery of the Revelation 12 sign that everyone knows now. please watch video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmDQBTWziCs ....It is a great time to be alive Church. God Bless. Maranatha
That's interesting. I had never thought of this sign as being anything other than the description of the rapture. I guess I don't understand how the "birthing of revival" or a "great move of God" could be caught up (harpazo) to the throne of God after being brought forth from the woman, as described in v.5.
DeleteAlso, can you tell me when/where God prophesied that this sign would be discovered? I can't find that promise in the Bible, but I'd love to read it and use it to defend the legitimacy of The Great Sign. Thanks!
Kim though in his video is saying the Woman giving birth is the church body now bringing about a movement a revival for the next generation. He isn't referring to the Revelation 12 sign specifically as we know it now. I'm unsure why that is.
DeleteThat "revival" you're talking about is the REvival within the tribulation where Rev 7:9 says, " After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations..."
DeleteDid you read that? "a great multitude which no one could number"
Now THATS a Huge Revival!
@Jazzy: Dear sister please look at Revelation 14:6-12 that'll be the gospel message this "huge revival" comes from. It's NOT church age gospel message but 70th weeks "Law" (grace + works) message like Pete Garcia also mentioned. Because the whole tribulation period will be the one "missing week" in regeneration of Israel there will be focus on law-like salvation again. There is no silent 'Redeemer on the cross' to believe in because Jesus IS already risen and now coming back as JUDGE of nations (naturally and logically this period is called judgement and not grace age). God then ties in with the 69th week of Israel again BEFORE Pentecost church was conceived. What Peter then quoted from Joel 2 was only to be COMPLETELY fulfilled AFTER tribulation period with the Jews. The Pentecost miracle for the church was only PARTIAL fulfillment. Please note salvation during tribulation period will be completely DIFFERENT from what we all know and understand as 'Sola Gratia' today. I recommend Robert Breakers video teaching on the "Tribulation Gospel" on YouTube. Blessings, MARANATHA! :)
DeleteAbout Kim Clement --- He was of the New Apostolic Reformation movement.... A movement of self-declared prophets and apostles. He did not understand, nor rightly divide the scripture when it came to eschatological passages. He, like all the others, take scripture out of context, eisegesis, and apply it to their Kingdom Now Dominionism theology... Which is that the Church will become a glorious entity and ONLY the Church bring this grand last days revival to the world. False!!!
DeleteAs we rightly divide the scripture, we clearly see that Matt. 24:13-14 is Rev. 14:6-12.... That it will be the eternal gospel being preached by the SUPERNATURALLY sealed Jewish male Evangelists and the Angel that proclaims the eternal gospel to every nation, tribe, people and tongue. What this NAR movement has done is taken what is elevated the Church over Jesus Christ, but in the name of Jesus. Revelation 12 passage is about a the Body of Christ being 'birthed' - literally born again - into the Throne Room. Kim preached and all the other adherents within the NAR movement preach that they will usher in the Kingdom of God IN The Earth.
This is not Biblical.
Kim Clement was a false prophet,
Deleteperiod.
Only the Chief Priest may enter the Holy of Holies on Feast of Atonement; Jesus is the only Legitimate Priest; He is forever a Priest in the Order of Mechisedek (Heb 7) having assumed the corrupted Levite Priesthood. For Feast of Atonement to be a Jubilee Year and Jubilee Trumpet, Jesus must return to the Temple there are no Legitimate Priests in Jerusalem as Jesus is the King of Jerusalem
ReplyDeleteKol Nidre Sept 29, 2017 Rabbis will forgive all Vows, Oaths and Sins their Congregations will voluntarily commit during the coming year. The exact opposite the way God forgives Sins
ReplyDeleteI agree with September - Marianne and Howard ... Please go away.
ReplyDeleteAnon at 6:16 - see Pirate Christian Media regarding Kim Clement. Or, look into Berean Research website.
I originally wanted to say how I enjoyed Pete's article because it shed light on the issue of signs and viewpoints in our Christian worldview that are against signs. I am not saying this very well, but this article was helpful in moving forward.
Just to mention it again: Genesis 1:14 clearly makes NO difference between "Jews and Gentiles" regarding signs in the heavens. This is 4th day of creation! So just from the beginning of their existence a) the purpose of celestial bodies as signs is mentioned in FIRST PLACE (even before giving light in v. 15!) and b) these signs are meant to signal GODs (!! NOT "Jewish"!) appointed times for EVERYONE. So Christians (from the nations) please STOP claiming heavenly signs are "not meant for you". MARANATHA!
ReplyDeleteAmen to that Annabel! I have never felt closer to the God of all creation than when I gaze up steadfastly into His handiwork. As it declares His awesome glory to me, my childlike faith thrives and soars beyond measure. It is a love letter for all who are willing to see it and give glory and honor to the Author. Prayers for all of His children on this wonderful day.
DeleteMuch love and blessings to you Sheila! :)) Oh and btw I forgot: it was indeed the 4th dimension of TIME created on the 4th day by putting the celestial bodies in motion. When we die or get harpazoed we will ultimately EXIT dimension of time again. We will still be in 3D space but out of time. Time is what happens just on earth and by earthly measurements used by men (e.g. counting "light years" in space). Eternity is timeless, a "Present Continuous" form. That's why in the end of millennium new heavens without sun and moon (with their earthly timer purpose) are made and God will be the continuous light, without any light-darkness rhythm or nightly sleep needed. Mankind dream of sci-fi time machine will also come true transcending new dimensions - but only for those who believe in Christ... ;) looking forward to!
DeleteTotally agree. Still got 2 twilight periods to go for the 30th. The last, the Astronomical twilight should occur at 11:46 our time in Texas. Only looking upward and forward either way.
DeleteRev 12 Daily, Unsealed, Lu Vega and a dozen other sites promoted the Sept 23 and then 24th Rapture; no Trumpet or Feast of God on those days and they came and went. The only way Sept 30, 2017 could witness a Trumpet blast is if 2017 is God's Jubilee Year and that Trumpet would be blown on the New Moon to start the year on 1 Abib.
DeleteHow many more lies will need to exposed before people wake up to biblical truth? Come on people, Jupiter has never and will never be an appellation of Jesus; the world worshipped Jupiter as Marduk or Molech offering human sacrifices in Temple of Baal in opposition to God "You shall not pass your children in fires to Molech" sound familiar?
Heaping praise on these liars is not going to help with your Salvation. 7th Trump, Trump of God (1 Thess 4:16; 1 Cor 15:52) is the last Trumpet warning and 3rd Woe! (Rev 18:19)
Jesus warned the Devil, Dragon, Serpent, Satan has deceived the entire world (Rev 12:9); Jesus is the Word made Flesh and Holy Ghost; He does not make mistakes or change His mind.
Marianne - I've never heard or read Rev 12 Daily, Unsealed or Lu Vega make the claim that the Rapture on the 23rd was a sure thing. I've heard them say that the "sign" on the 23rd would happen for sure. And they were right. It did!
DeleteBut the Rapture happening on that date has always been a "maybe" or a "we hope". I think you may be mixing these 3 sites together with "a dozen other sites" that promoted the 23rd Rapture.
Can you please give me a specific article, blog, or video where any of these 3 sites made the claim that the 23rd would bring us the Rapture? Please.........? And I'm not talking about people who just post comments on these sites - I've heard a lot of opinions that were off-base, but not from the website hosts themselves.
People often (either intentionally or unintentionally) read between the lines to get something that's just not there....perhaps to justify their own pre-conceived position.
By the way, in Hebrew astronomy ,Tzedeq צדק, (Jupiter) means "righteousness", as Jupiter is the embodiment of divine influx. And you are right, the Jews do not associate Jupiter with Jesus Christ. Of course not! However, to them Jupiter is a symbol for the Messiah. As a believer in Christ, that's close enough for me!
I hope you respond to this post with a little more specificity. Especially when you're making disparaging remarks about fellow brothers-in-Christ. Thank you!
Dennis
You mad Bro? Or Sis? Howard or Marianne? Which is it? I think you are transgender confused no pues esse vato? I for one sure promoted the Sign, for nearly 10 years now but not the Rapture date. This, of many other points just show how you severely lack discernment and judgment. How old are you? If I recall Brad set this site up for the Community of Rev 12 to support, edify and encourage one another. You are clearly causing division and divisiveness which you need to stop. You are on the wrong website. We have heard your arguments over and over, now leave the flock along in Jesus’ Name.
DeleteThis site is not your platform to espouse your warped theology and dogmatic opinions. Members have admonished you to stop with your pontificating and judgmental spirit of AntiChrist. You are calling Brethren ‘liars’. Seriously, have not taken your meds today? The measure you judge Christ’s flock will be measured against you. Jesus warned that if you even called a Brother ‘stupid’ you are in danger of Hell Fire… Do you like hot humid weather eh Compa?
That's her version of Hebrews 10:25 I guess?
DeleteI decided day before yesterday that this entity of Howard/Marianne is the embodiment of a spirit of discord and confusion since that is what it continuously tries to sow. Doesn't bother me now considering the source. I do want to say that it is my understanding that we still have 18 hrs or so before the last Trump of Yom Kippur is supposed to be blown. Still looking up and and praying for the protection of all expectant hearts.
DeleteSure Lance, Let's start with Jesus replacing the Levitical Priesthood in Heb 7 Jesus describes how the Levitical Priesthood was corrupted and replaced by the Melchisedek Priesthood under Jesus Christ. Anonymous may think Jupiter is Tzeddek "Righteous" but this is not the case; Jupiter is Marduk/Zeus. Jesus is Melchisedek "King of Jerusalem" and "Priest of the Most High"; He wrote the Covenant with Abraham and King David. "The word of God is quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword" Heb 4:12
DeleteNext the Star of David; Amos 5:26 describes this Six Pointed Star of Moloch and Chiun.
Next the color Tekhelet Blue. A cursory study of Tekhelet used for the drapes of Solomon's Temple and Blue Cords "Tzitzit" and Talit Prayer Shawls worn by Israel's High Priests like Annas and Caiaphas who ordered the Crucifixion of Jesus. http://www.tallit-shop.com/tallit/murex-trunculus/.
No Lance I do not randomly lob one liners; I defend the bible with all my heart. What part of "Rebuke them sharply" Titus 1:13 is hard to understand?
Awesome!!!! You guys are the same..sweet! You have like a Bruce/Caitlyn thing going..or do you have a sibling thing going?? amazing!!!
DeleteDo you think your brand of "evangelism" is attracting anyone? What is your purpose? To divide...as was stated above. You engage in rhetoric with no arguements...just random statements. This site is for sisters/brothers to discuss the various signs/events that lead to Christ's return for us...not angry babble.
As Lu so eloquently stated, are you off of your meds, or are you shotgunning Mountain Dew with a pop rocks chaser? Either way...prayers for you, uh y'all, whatever?
