We have had a lot of discussions around here lately regarding comets, meteors, meteor storms and the like. With all that, I was especially surprised to find a very unique post on the Eschatology Today page. Keep in mind the Sean primarily focuses on ME events pointing to military action and Biblical fulfillment of the coming wars over there....  So this post jumped out at me as something completely different and especially noteworthy. Lyn Melvin came out with a new article today that addresses a topic that seems to be coming up a lot recently.  She writes far more eloquently they I could ever dream, so I present you this excerpt and link for your tenderhearted consideration.  I will say, the line highlighted below pricked me pretty good... In a matter of days we could witness the fulfillment of the 2nd sign in Revelation 12.  Like the 1st sign, we believe this will be another astronomical event in the sky above our heads.  There has been much speculation about what this sign could be, but over time the likely fulfillment has seemed to come into focus.  We will not know if we are right about this until it actually happens, at this point we can only look at the evidence and move forward in faith.  With that in mind, I present to you below just a bit more evidence of Gods amazing design and how He could be setting up a meteor storm that could be the fulfillment of Revelation 12:3-4: And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems. Comet 21P as seen on October 31st, 1998 Hello all, I was recently asked about why I am anticipating something exciting happening in the next 30 days or so, and a lot of it has to do with Comet 21P. This comet is passing closest to the earths orbit right around TODAY.... but we will be passing through its debris field in early October.... and the last day I see that we could see a major meteor storm would be October 12th. This potential meteor storm could be the 2nd sign in Revelation 12 (vs 3-4) that describes a third of the stars falling from heaven. This meteor shower is called the Draconids, because it comes out of the Draco (Dragon) constellation. The two videos below couldn't be more different in their number of views, but in my mind there are equally important. The first video is about Comet 21P and currently has only 41 views (as compared to 41,000 by the one below). It was made by a reader of this site and in my opinion gives a great synopsis of how incredible this year is setting up for a spectacular meteor shower which could fulfill the second sign described in Rev 12:3-4. Hey fam, real quick here... I see that Steve has been studying the Comet 21P that some are eagerly waiting for this fall.  He has focused in on Sept 11th, when the comet is closest to earth, but you may remember the video shared back in June that taught us that the potential "meteor storm" from this comet wouldn't occur until a month later in October, around the 10th or 11th.  It does not take much imagination to believe that if we get a meteor storm similar to the awesome ones produced by this comet, just 1 year after the Rev 12 Sign, that it could be in fact what Rev 12:3-4 is describing.  Anyway, just wanted to keep this on your radar.... Hey guys, I have been taking a fresh look at the text of Revelation 12 and am making some fresh progress and deeper understanding of the message God is revealing in this vital chapter. I believe one of the reasons He put the Great Sign in the heavens last fall was to direct our study toward Rev 12... a chapter that has clearly been misunderstood for far too long.  God basically used the heavens above to put a bright flashing neon light on this chapter so that we would take the time and understand its meaning...
