Comfort in Isaiah...

Image
“Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:6–11(ESV) While we are about to flip the page on another month (our favorite month for some of us), I wanted to sha...

Jesus is Real

Image
So I saw this online recently and did some digging and just thought it was very cool. A father posted the image below to his Facebook page shortly after his son died.  The son had some serious issues and was unable to speak or write clearly leading up to his death.  But near the end of his life, he signaled to his dad that he was seeing something spiritual.  The dad handed him a pen and piece of paper, the son was shaking and he wasn't expecting much, but He was shocked when he saw the words written below clearly enough to be read!   Here is what the father posted describing the scene: “Before my son Jonathan was resuscitated.. he signaled to me as if he is seeing someone.. but i can’t understand him.. so i gave him a paper and a pen to write down what he wants to tell me.. but i couldn’t read his writing.. he is so weak already and shaking and can’t hold the pen properly.. but before the nurses called code blue.. he was able to write this Jesus is real.. and...

Happy Thanksgiving

Image
I am sharing this post that I had originally shared back in November of 2017.  It was a few months after the Rev 12 sign and were all anxiously wondering what was going to happen.  Obviously the Rapture didn't take place like many had hoped, but the world sure did change in the time that followed. I think about this post often and want to share it again for you guys.  I hope you all get some special time with your family and loved ones this Thanksgiving and are able to give glory to God for all of our blessings ever chance you get as we wait patiently for His precious Son to appear.   God Bless you all... -Brad -------- As we try to wait patiently for the coming of the Lord this Thanksgiving, we must consider the farmers as the Bible instructs to do. Consider.  Ponder.  Put ourselves in their shoes. Let's do just that.... A dear brother in Christ emailed me that verse out of the blue today....(thanks Todd).  So I pondered it.  I con...

Thoughts on the 7 Year Anniversary

Image
If you are like me, you remember exactly what you were doing 7 years ago today.  I remember that here is was a beautiful blue sky day.  It was a Saturday and we spent the day at my parents house filled with excitement about our seeing the Blessed Hope potentially happen!  It felt like time had slowed down leading up to that day.  When I first learned about the sign it seemed like so far away.  Then as we inched closer to it, time slowed down even more as we found so many amazing nuggets in the Bible and in the Heavens confirming and enlightening us to parts of Gods prophetic word.   It was an amazing time when it seemed that the Holy Spirit was bringing His word to life right before our eyes!   We were going to see something straight out of the Book of Revelation!   Whether it fit with your preconceived interpretation of Bible Prophecy or not, It. Was. Happening.  The Heavens declared it and modern technology confirmed it.  Be...

Remember Lots Wife

Image
I am writing this post as much for me as it is for all you.  I think there is a message Jesus shares in Luke 17 that needs sink deep into our hearts as we approach His return so we are mentally prepared to act as He has instructed during that most important time leading up to the moment of the Rapture.  We all have ideas of how the rapture will look, and what events, if any will lead up to it.  But the truth is, it most likely won't happen exactly as we expect and thus we should be mentally prepared and open to many possible scenarios (not just what has been depicted in the Left Behind movies) so that we can recognize what is happening as soon as possible and act accordingly.... in faith and led by the Spirit.  Jesus specifically tells us to remember Lot's wife, that is, the error that Lot's wife made (and potentially the error Lot made in not helping his wife understand) when destruction appeared in the sky above them and that is what I would like to lead you to thi...

Merry Christmas to All!

Image
Merry Christmas to all and glory be to God in the Highest! Praise to Him who sent his Son to this planet to live a perfect life and sacrifice himself for our sins! What an amazing gift... and to top it off He has promised to COME AGAIN! He even set a sign in the sky to make us aware of where we are at prophetically and let us know beyond a shadow of a doubt that His return is NEAR! With that said, here is a picture of an ornament on our Christmas tree that commemorates that amazing sign!! Merry Christmas and God Bless You All!!!

Knock Knock Knocking on Heavens Door

Image
It's getting dark, too dark to see. It feels like I'm knocking on Heavens door. Knock Knock Knocking on Heavens Door.... I heard this song the other day and never realized it was originally performed by Bob Dylan (I had only heard the rock version from the 90's).  Anyways... the simple lyrics just really struck me and fitting for this time.  On one hand the world is getting so dark so quickly.  Culture has never felt so depraved and sin has never been more glorified.  Yet, on the other hand we are so close to Heaven.  The rapture feels like it could happen any day.  We could be in Heaven at any moment.   We thought we were so close 5 years ago, look at all that has happened since then!   Jesus must be coming so soon and doubt very few of us would be surprised if it was this year.  Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks fin...

Letting the Love Flow....

Image
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. John 6:35 There is a story in the Bible that has always fascinated me. It is when Jesus feeds the 5000 with the bread and fish. I imagine Jesus reaching inside a basket and grabbing a loaf, breaking it, blessing God and handing it out. Then almost magically inside the basket another loaf appears and the process repeats itself until thousands are stuffed and there are even baskets of leftovers.  "There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?” Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number. Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted. And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments,...

Healing Found in Hezekiah

Image
Every so often in these posts I share things I glean from my time reading the Bible to my kids before bedtime.  We have been working our way through 2 Kings, which has been at times depressing as we read about a seemingly endless parade of bad kings who did not do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.  But then last night we came to chapter 18, and this refreshing (and timely) fellow named King Hezekiah! He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father David had done.  He removed the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles.  He broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had been burning incense to it. 2 Kings 18:3-4 There where a quite a few things about Hezekiah that really jumped out at me, but one in particular I want to point out that can easily apply to us in the upside down world of j@b mand@tes and insanity that is sweeping the world (clearly setting up the infrastructur...

Hell and Destruction are before the Lord....

Image
My youngest child was carrying around one of those pocket bibles last week. She will go through phases were she likes to carry around certain things, in fact if she had her way she would always have something with her wherever she goes. If we are leaving the house she will quickly look around and grab something, anything, to carry with her. Anyways, these things often get left in random spots, and wouldn't you know it that the little red pocket bible was left in my truck. This Bible is from the mid-80s, it was given to me when I was little. It has the New Testament along with Psalms and Proverbs. It's actually in very good shape as I unfortunately did not read it very much growing up. I surely could have saved myself some pain if I had. But now I love the Bible, and it fits perfectly on my dash so when I have a minute I can flip through it and read a verse or two. This is what I was doing when the following verse from Proverbs 15 jumped out at me: Hell and destructi...

Sore Throat, Full Heart

Image
Hello dear brothers and sisters. I have been meaning to get a new post up for a couple days now, and a kind text from Shelia alerted me to your thoughtful prayers. I am alive, no worries about that...just been quite sick since the weekend and haven't gotten much of anything done. The amount of kleenex that has been used and crumpled in our home is truly staggering, and my poor throat is so sore I could hardly pray for my kids this evening, much less read to them. Thankfully God gave them strength to pray for ME. I don't think there is any sound quite so sweet as your young child praying to the Creator of the World for you....knowing that He is surely listening to each sweet syllable. :)  I will keep this short, but any prayers you can send this way are so appreciated. Can't wait to be with you all soon in the place were there will be no more tears (or runny noses, sore throats and violent sneezes). God Bless You ALL. : )   Lastly, just wanted to share this song ...

Grace in this Place....

Image
Hello all.   Each of you are precious and I am so grateful for every single person God has led to visit this place over the years.  I have said it before and I will say it again, you guys make this place what it is, not me.   But I feel led to share some thoughts about how I would prefer to see the comments section of this blog be handled moving forward.  Whether you comment rarely, often or never, I believe what I plan to share below will apply to you all equally.  Take heart, I will not be singling anybody out and I truly believe every single one of you reading these words are here because God lead you here as a integral part of this fellowship.  With that being said, over the past few months there has been a slight shift in topics and tone in the comments section.  This shift has, in my personal opinion, somewhat detracted from the intentions and aspirations I believe Jesus has for this site.  And since I was called to start this plac...

The Signs and the Cross...

Image
Saturn and Jupiter set behind a church ahead of their conjunction, as photographed on December 18, 2020 in Jersey City, New Jersey. (Photo by Gary Hershorn/Getty Images) I have a note written in the front of my Bible.   It says.... When following God we must go at the right pace, and the right direction. I am not sure who said it, but it struck my heart, and thus was written in my Bible. I think about those words now, as the Great Conjunction is slowing working it's way apart at the same pace it came together.   So when I saw the picture above, the thought below hit me like a ton of bricks... As watchers, signs will come and go from our minds... But the CROSS will never move! The cross should always be center. Without it, nothing else matters. The truth is that every second that passes brings us that much closer to Glory, but I know for many of you that fact is hard to grasp when it feels like you are hanging on by your finger nails just to get through each day....

His Hand Is Stretched Out Still

Image
1 Woe to those who decree iniquitous decrees, and the writers who keep writing oppression, 2 to turn aside the needy from justice and to rob the poor of my people of their right, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey! 3 What will you do on the day of punishment, in the ruin that will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help, and where will you leave your wealth? 4 Nothing remains but to crouch among the prisoners or fall among the slain. For all this his anger has not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still. Isaiah 10:1-4 As some of you may remember, a little over a year ago I began reading the Bible to my children at night on a regular basis.  We used to read all sorts of books before, and occasional watch videos... most of the time they were Christian in nature, but now they love the Bible.  They even tell me they sleep better when we read it.   The impact of the Word...

Turning the Tables...

Image
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. -Ephesians 5:11  As we wait for the coming of our Savior, we are unfortunately subject to the evils that abound on this planet for the time being.  The political events of this past week are putting that evil on display, at least for those willing to look at the evidence.  The fraud is on a scale that few could have comprehended... and the media is willing and eager to cover it up.  But the word of God will not return void (Isaiah 55:11) and all those prayers said and hymns sung on our presidents behalf have surely reached the ears of our Father. Hope and faith come into play at times such as this...  This is when our faith should shine...  We are not the first of Gods people to feel like this.   Gods people have been subject to worse situations, and His enemies have been in far stronger positions... yet time and again God has turned the tables!   I am choosing ...

Beloved Readers and Commenters...

Image
Beloved readers and commenters...  My hope and prayer from the beginning of this site is that it would be used by God in some small way to help my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ grow closer to Him. Help us learn, help us be encouraged, informed, and connected... all while we wait for His soon coming return.  For me, perhaps for you,  this site has helped me not feel alone.   It has helped me have a place to go to find encouragement, support, and read comments from others who see the same amazing things that I've seen, and perhaps share things we haven't seen yet! It has helped us deal with the strange dynamic we face knowing that we are on the verge of something truly amazing, but multitudes are on the verge of something truly devastating.  And to top it off, most of the people around us have no clue it is all about to happen. Through this long watch this place has fostered amazing fellowship, support and conversation. Though we may have different views ...

Last Days Encouragement

Image
Dearest siblings in Christ.  I wanted to get a fresh post up for us all to chew on after the previous post brought more angst than I was anticipating.   As The Spirit leads, feel free to hash things out over there, but for those of you ready for it, here are some personal thoughts straight from my life and heart that I hope will be encouraging for those of you who perhaps needs some last days encouragement like I often do... so here it goes! This morning I was listening to a Ron Hutchcraft "A Word With You" talk he does each weekday.  In it he mentioned something from Oswald Chambers, the author of My Utmost for His Highest, a famous devotional I am familiar with.  Apparently Oswald had this saying that he would often repeat throughout his life, in the ups and downs....a saying so profound that I took it to heart and plan on repeating it to my family and friends just like Oswald did.   The phrase was this: I refuse to worry. Worry. In my life it is th...

The Benefits of Watching

Image
Hi guys we had a good discussion in the last post about several topics. One of the things that came out was a list of 7 benefits of watching. I want to pull this out as a separate post so it will be easy to find and reference in the future. I know that for some of you this is ground already covered, but my hope is that by placing this list here with a few embellishments and with 3 bonus benefits it will be a resource you can refer back to and possibly share with others.  First off, here my original response along with a portion of the comment from Chris that I responded to:  Thank you for chiming in, like everyone else I always appreciate it when you and others who don't post quite as regularly chime in with something new!!! There was a point you raised in your comment that I wanted to piggyback on....  "The reason I keep watching is because I believe one day we will see it coming, and know that it is going to happen."  This is a key point. Why would God call us to ...

Strongs G3007 - Leipo

Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord (ie. the tribulation period) will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others , who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. 1 Thes 5:1-6 The word translated "others" in the last sentence gave Todd Hampson a small rabbit trail to follow, and I believe he found yet more proof of the pre-tribulation rapture.  He has a new article up that goes into quite a bit of depth and I found it quick interesting and encouraging.  Here is a link and a short excerpt: http://toddhampso...

Reminder of the Supporting Arguments For a Pre-Trib Rapture

Image
Our dear brother Ron (Watchman 35) who has graced these pages since 2017 has a very edifying post up on the Rapture in the Air Now forums which is a great strengthener in the Blessed Hope, the PRE-Tribulation Snatching Out of Harms Way (aka Rapture) of the Church.  In the post he list's 7 strong arguments that support the Pre-Trib interpretation. His 7 Points are described in detail in the link below... I will share his list and give you an excerpt of one of them so you can get the flavor:  The Dispensational Imperative  The Wrath Factor  The Difference Between the Rapture and The Second Coming  The Jewish Wedding Tradition  The Apostasia of 2 Thessalonians  The Content and Structure of Revelation  Preppers vs Watchers Here is an excerpt for #4: 4. The Jewish Wedding Tradition: this tradition mirrors the relationship of Jesus to the Church in every facet. Most notably, the departure of the Bridegroom back to his father’s house to...

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
