Last Days Encouragement
This morning I was listening to a Ron Hutchcraft "A Word With You" talk he does each weekday. In it he mentioned something from Oswald Chambers, the author of My Utmost for His Highest, a famous devotional I am familiar with. Apparently Oswald had this saying that he would often repeat throughout his life, in the ups and downs....a saying so profound that I took it to heart and plan on repeating it to my family and friends just like Oswald did. The phrase was this:
I refuse to worry.
Worry. In my life it is the feeling that things are out of control and I don't know what to do. Usually it is surrounding some scenario that could have unknown consequences and impacts. It could have to do with health issues in loved ones, family dynamics, my kids, my work, this site or a million other things. I feel overwhelmed and have often thought to myself something along the lines of.... "Please Jesus come back soon so I don't have to deal with this anymore."
Can you relate?
This is where the BLESSED HOPE comes in, right? The rapture. Our Rescue. Our Blessed Hope.
Perhaps you even worry about the Blessed Hope.... mainly, when will it be!?!?
Lets look at that famous passage from Titus 2:11-14 that comes to mind so often:
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.I could go on and on about this passage, but notice what Titus emphasizes right before he mentions the Blessed Hope.... he teaches us how to live while we are WAITING.
Waiting. Inpatient. Hanging on for dear life. God knew we would feel this way, and in His infinite wisdom he told us what to do. All too often we fast forward right past that wisdom and see our favorite words BLESSED HOPE without pondering the guidance that comes before that great promise. The subtle nudges of what we should be doing while we wait. See if any of this would be useful in the present ungodly age we find ourselves in while we wait...
First, we should be renouncing Ungodliness and worldly passions. Reject worldly passions. Stop consuming them. What does the world get passionate about... likely those are things that are ungodly. We should be phasing them out and phasing more God in. What do you think about mostly in a day? For me it has been this covid crap and politics. I need to rise above and refuse to worry.
The Holy Spirit through Titus also writes that we should be self-controlled. Upright. Godly. Our lives should be defined by these things. Are you defined by self-control? Patience? I am not. Godly? Not nearly as often as I should be or could be. Upright? Half the time I wish I could just lay down, fall asleep and wake up at the sound of the trumpet and not have to deal with this world anymore!
I think what God is saying to me through this is that we shouldn't just coast into the Blessed Hope. The fact is, we don't know exactly when it will happen or how it will all play out. I for one am becoming more an more convinced that things will happen in a way or in a timing that is not really expected... but my confidence is in Jesus who has promised they will happen, before the great tribulation!
The bottom line is that even when we fail and fall apart daily God is so good to us. His way's are far above our ways. He does not think like we do. He see's the big picture, more than that, he CREATED the big picture!
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.Isaiah 55:8-9
So in closing I would like to direct you back to the top of this post. That is a post-it note that has been hanging at my desk for over 2 years now. If you look closely you will see that I wrote some of the words darker so that they will jump out at me. Those words emphasize endurance. Moreover, they emphasize HIS ENDURANCE, not mine. He hasn't failed us yet, I am not one to think that He will start now.... I hope that verses on that note encourage you like they do me.
Refuse to worry and rest in the promise that He will sustain us to the very end. Oh, and keep looking up!!! Maranatha!

Their following stellar performance, built upon his revisiting upon them, the very basics, was the winning play.
In emerging from the odd landing and then takeoff after The Great Wonder, I found My Lord Advising Me that the very state of mind I was in, as it approached, eagerly expectant, gratefully sheltered from everything else brewing (then), ALWAYS thinking of Our Lord, His Story, His Presence so tangible, esp in light of a soon meet and greet? Well, As Is His Way, He Asked, "Why should any other day be any different as you chase and find and love and reverence Me?" Smiling, He Extends His Scarred Hands To Us, Reminding Us, Once Again, as you've reminded us, here, Who Is Running The Game. Maranatha!

Sometimes in our isolation we can feel we’re the only one who is “not measuring up” or not doing enough, or feeling condemned under a continual barrage of accusation from the enemy. I could not agree more as we sure do need encouragement and perspective in these Last Days. In such times like these corporately and globally I am reminded of what I have replied on and do, the examples of Jesus, ultimately and of the Apostles as we know. In particular Peter speaks to me in the book of Acts; how in such a similar time when the ‘authorities’ wanted to silence and close down the Church in Jerusalem, to not congregated nor preach the Gospel freely and openly, they threw Peter into prison. This last part will happen.
DeleteBut instead of worrying, being anxious, or not being able to sleep, Peter was ‘sawing some logs’ despite being handcuffed and with armed guards! The Angel sent to the rescue had to wake Peter up! Lol. Now that is having peace in the midst of severe persecution and really has spoken to my personal conditions/trials over the years. And as Dr. Charles Stanley rightly has stated, ’Obey the LORD and leave the consequences to Him.’ I have written up a new article about ‘Why Prophecy is Important’, if you like to check it out, only 8 pages! ;) And no ice-cold water splashes/slaps!

Another great article Lu Skywalker, Vegaman, Iceman and now Lu-king! Did I miss any (ha, ha)? I'm sure there are times that I myself do not fully appreciate how important it is to read and understand Biblical prophecy...but it really is a matter of life and death! ReplyDeletePhil 1:6, and 1 Cor 1:8 have rescued me time and again out from the dark spirit of worry throughout my journey of now 22 years with the Lord.
These seemingly simple passages are rich with the power of the truth that we are HIS workmanship. He alone does the Work. And we can actually BE worry-free "lilies of the field" when we trust in Him fully. I am learning this stunning fact more and more. And, although I submit to the Hands of our loving Potter, and endure many sufferings, struggles, batterings, and pleadings, still, it is nothing short of exciting when I finally get the perspective of looking expectantly upon this amazing, unfolding "wonder Work" that He is doing with us!
And I, too, will REFUSE TO WORRY!

The past few days I've been catching the time at 9:11 both morning and night. So tonight after seeing it again, I felt led to check out the corresponding date for 9/11 on the TorCal which is the 6 month and 23rd day--"Va-Yelech".

DeleteMay be reading a bit too much into this, but this was very interesting about Apollyon as it came up in the article I just finished also, ‘Why Prophecy is Important’. The LORD, I believe led me to remember how the Roman 4 Legions surrounded Jerusalem in 70 AD. Each of the Standards/Ensigns had a depiction or facet of the power of Apollo, which many believe is one in the same as Apollyon. So, he is coming for Jerusalem, he is rising, i.e., the AntiChrist.
And as to the hand off from Moses to Joshua, it is a ‘picture’ perhaps but in reverse order of the coming transition of dispensations from Grace, Age of Joshua, (Jesus) to back to the Law, Moses. I sure hope it would be this year we crossover into our Spiritual Inheritance/Promised Land.

ReplyDeleteI will say, your post has inspired me to reflect on the journey we’ve all been on as we seek to determine the precise timing of our Blessed Hope, the Rapture. For many years now our fellow watchmen have been attempting to solve this Biblical mystery or Rapture puzzle. It clearly has been a difficult and at times winding road to follow, with plenty of sharp turns and curves, and lots of dead ends, but also with many sign posts along the way. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.” However, one can also say it’s often our quest for the destination that takes us on our journey! Personally, I feel the journey we’ve all been on has been done for a purpose (by you know who), in order to prepare ourselves and give us the necessary knowledge and understanding of the various prophecies and events written in the Bible… and primarily, so we can experience these things on a much more personal and intimate level with you know who. Like any fruit before it is harvested, it needs plenty of time, sunshine and care before it can fully mature and ripen. As far as the timing of the rapture, I agree with you that “things will happen in a way or in a timing that is not really expected.” And for the watchmen who get it right, well…it really won’t matter anymore!

I'm too busy HARVESTING and putting up what our little garden offers to worry, but I did manage to put together something I think the Spirit of the Lord showed me. Here's an excerpt:

Blessings all. I was watching Andy Woods teachings on Genesis earlier today. He talked about how young ppl get hung up on the dinosaur thing. He mentioned Dr. Russell Humphreys books for those who don’t think science and the Bible go together. Some wonder how there was light when God hadn’t created the Sun yet. Anyone who thinks anything is too hard for God doesn’t understand, not that any of us truly can, His Omnipotence. He spoke of the so-called missing link and the goo/zoo/you lie. Fascinating. Everything we have been through and are going through is all getting us ready to serve in the Millennium. Joseph had to endure prison before being Prime Minister. David had to hide in caves before being King. Everything is part of God’s preparing us for what comes next. Dare I say, embrace your suffering and tribulations. None of it is in vain. It’s all shaping you and refining you for our glorious future. Doesn’t a rose exude it’s finest scent after it has been crushed? Glory to God!

Be careful about this Light thing. Day and Night were BEFORE God placed the Sun, Moon, and Stars into the firmament above us. From KJV below:

As I was typing this out and from something else I listened to today from Chuck Missler, I was reminded THIS is the only part of the Bible where God is creating life and everything is perfect.
After Genesis 1, the creation story gets a little more detailed BUT then we get right into Adam and Eve THEN the fall.
The punchline being: 99.99% of the Bible is God's Redemption Plan for man unto Himself, it was all laid out from the beginning all the way to the end. He (Jesus) was in the Beginning and is there in the End and everywhere in between.

As for dinosaurs, I think they're made up by those very same people who made all the remains of them Giants disappear. Them dino bones in museams, I think they ain't bones at all but some plastic cartoon material.
The same kind of H'wood production used to tape tin foil and card board boxes together for the 'moon" lander. Has anyone really ever investigated the construction of the "moon" vehicles?
Amazing how they never seem to 'steam off' while splashing down in the cooler water (80 degrees) after re-entering Earth's very hot (2,000+ degrees) atmosphere and living to talk about it. Just amazing "technology" they had back in the 60s - 70s.

Andy Woods was discussing kids that can’t explain dinosaurs so they give up on Creation. Andy himself said he realized evolution is a lie because humans and animals are different species so there’s no way our ancestors are in the zoo. No species has ever jumped into another, hence, the missing link. Dinosaurs don’t really matter to me. I have never ever doubted God’s Existence. And Jesus isn’t the Second Adam; He is the Last Adam. I def agree with Dr. Woods on that.

DeleteFrom a creation science perspective, a knuckle-ball. 1st, under the initial firmament, one school of thought is the existence of hyperbaric conditions. I've seen photos of tomatoes the size of larger watermelons, having been grown in such environs with Oxygen enriched, as I recall, atmosphere also. Hyperbaric pressure super-infuses everything into the tissues and fluids, massively energizing the God-Given Life Dynamics.
As for reptiles, at a creation science conference exhibit, one paleontologist was cited as saying that, in such an environment, the ONLY thing limiting the inherent natural growth of any such creature are the limits of the environs, like a goldfish, always growing to match the size of the bowl/pond it's in. Given a virtually unlimited growth of fauna, et al, most reptile families become 'dinosaurs' fairly quickly, likely in the lifetime of the first generation. We all look at the same evidence, creationist simply have the Guide Book and the HS to Assist Sifting Fact v Fiction.
Okay Charlie...I'll have to keep Jayden away from you, LOL. That would break his heart cuz he loves those dinos! He has what he is pretty sure is a genuine T-Rex lower leg bone that he dug up out in the yard. (Probably just an old cow bone, but I would never burst his little bubble on that one:-)
DeleteAnyhow, over in Glen Rose, TX they have this Christian Evangelical based Creation Museum founded by Carl Baugh and they teach an interesting theory about the actual existence and time frame of dinosaurs that fully supports the Biblical story of Creation. They do provide some interesting evidence that humans and dinosaurs co-existed prior to the Flood
which solved any conflicts Jayden might have had between the Truth of Scripture and his being partial to the actual existence of those creatures:-)

I just watched this video by Brenda Weltner posted yesterday. It is very good and worth the 27 minutes....very encouraging! She supports the R12 Sign and makes a connection between the sign in the stars of the 1st Coming to the signs in the heavens for the 2nd Coming.

DeleteCathi, I cannot remember if that is true or not, but what I can say is she knows that we are not appointed unto wrath, so she defines tribulation as different from wrath. I think I remember that is the distinction she makes. Keep me honest though. If I get a chance I will review her notes so I can verify and clarify.

DeleteBrenda Weltner is a true Sister in Christ but as with ALL brothers and sisters we must weigh what she teaches and research it for our self. She left a Comment on one of my recent blogs and asked me to watch one of her videos, which I did. If I remember correctly, she believes the 70th WEEK OF DANIEL has begun and that THE Tribulation doesn't begin until 3-1/2 years from the Rev 12 Sign of the Woman in 2017.
DeleteI am encouraged that she connects the Rev 12 Sign with the Rapture for she too believes we will be GLORIFIED on Rosh Hashanah then minister for 10 days so that we are then RAPTURED by the Lord on Yom Kippur/The Day of Atonement.

I have to get my ac worked on. The tech that was coming out is named Jesus. (In Texas they say it like
Hay-soose). The ac company sent me a message letting me know that Jesus was on his way. 😁 I got a real chuckle out of that.
I've been debating if I should share this or not. I don't want to get peoples hopes up, only to be wrong and cause disappointment. It might have only been my own thoughts and not God talking to me. But if it was God, Then it's meant to be shared. So I'm finally bringing myself to share this. But please keep in mind, it may only be my thoughts. Just think of it as a possibility and not a definite.

I was praying, asking God if He was going to rapture us before the mandatory vaccines came out. (I was thinking this November) When I was praying, the 4 blood moons came to my mind, and the thought "how does God count?" Then "count the passovers, NOT the years came to my mind.
I've always wondered why God gave us the blood moons. What was their purpose. They had to mean something.
The 2 cows with the #7 on their heads the same year as the first 2 moons made me think the blood moons and cows meant 7 years of good left. (7 years till the tribulation), then 7 years of bad. And maybe that's why we had 2 sets of blood moons on the exact 2 feast days each year. (Passover and Tabernackle)To say 7 good years left starting from 2014 and 7 bad years left starting the next passover after the first 7 years is up.
Well, when I had the thought count the passovers, I got excited. If I count years, the 7 years of good would be up in 2021. But if I count passovers, the 7th Passover has already passed 😁 and the 7th Tabernackles is this Oct 3rd. So 2020 could definitely be the year of the rapture. This is the 7th good year and it's almost up! We are gone before the 7th bad year starts.
The blood moons fell on 2 of the 3 feast days that are required for the Jews to keep. Those feasts are VERY important to God. (Passover and Tabernackle) I've been wondering why God picked those days to use for the blood moons. They were specifically chosen to give a sign and warning. Could it be that the 7 years of good started with the first passover in 2014 and ends at the 7th Tabernackle of 2020 like bookends?
And same with the tribulation, that the Trib starts on passover 2021 and ends on Tabernacle 2027?
we could be raptured before the end of the 7th good year ( if you can call this year good) on FOT rapture, then the end of the 7 good year ends on Tabernackle.
I've never ever had that thought to count that way before, (count the passovers) so I am truly hoping it was God speaking. But just in case it wasn't, just take all this as my thoughts and not "God told me".

ReplyDeleteif Daniels prophecy for the messiah to come began at the declaration to rebuild Jerusalem, perhaps the beginning date for Israel becoming a nation (the generation that sees Jesus coming) begins at the declaration, not the actual signing.
On November 29, 1947 the United Nations adopted Resolution 181 (also known as the Partition Resolution) that would divide Great Britain’s former Palestinian mandate into Jewish and Arab states in May 1948 when the British mandate was scheduled to end.
If that is the case, that generation that saw the "budding" of the fig tree (Isreal) would end in NOVEMBER of 2027. Making the time line fit perfectly for the Trib to start 2021 And end in the fall of 2027, counting the passovers, and Tabernackles, not the years.
I think by the time passover of 2021 comes, chaos will be bad enough for the world to BEG for a savior, a leader, (the anti-christ) a one world order, one world government, the mark of the beast, etc. Everything is in place, I think it could all come together very quickly. Including the covenant with many from the anti Christ.
It's exciting to think we could possibly have only weeks left before the rapture.
Also, something else that is interesting. The cows with the #7 on their head were born 5 months after the first blood moon. 5 days apart. The revelation 12 sign came 3 years and 5 months, 8 days after the first blood moon. and 3 1/2 years (plus 4 days) later is passover 2021 (march 27). This seems to like up perfectly with the time line that we had 7 years before the rapture and then the tribulation starts. If we aren't taken this fall, I'll be VERY disappointed. But at least there is hope that we will not be here longer then march 2021. That's counting "years" though. Counting passovers, and tabernackles, gives me more hope 2020 to be the year.

It was Matt Peterson's article about 9/23/15 really being about 9/23/17 that brought it to my attention. We have now waited almost three years beyond 9/23/17, which is probably significant. Whether adults will be able to refuse vaccination remains to be seen, but surely many children and infants will not be given a choice. It is interesting to note that several experts in the fields of virology, molecular biology, and biological weaponry have stated that the COVID-19 virus is engineered, and contains HIV insertions. HIV is a retrovirus, which basically means that it's genome is reverse transcribed from RNA to DNA, and then integrated into the host genome. In other words, it contains the molecular machinery to insert encoded RNA instructions into the host genome. Some of the "vaccines" being proposed for COVID-19 are mRNA vaccines. This is a new technology, and not a conventional vaccine. An mRNA vaccine tricks the host cell into manufacturing viral proteins (or antigens), which then trigger an immune response. For the sake of argument, imagine that an mRNA vaccine were delivered to a population already harboring a highly infectious virus which encodes reverse transcriptase and integrase enzymes (just like HIV). The mRNA message delivered via the vaccine could then be incorporated into the host genome. Essentially, the combination of virus and vaccine would act as a binary system.
It would seem that there are two possibilities here. One is that the official narrative about COVID-19 is true, and the vaccine will be both helpful and necessary. The second possibility is much darker. If the second possibility is correct, it would not be in the Lord's character to permit this to be done to children without their consent.
At this point I think there is a lot of evidence pointing to fall of 2020 as being the start of Daniel's 70th week.

He called his Papaw at 6:30 am to express his anxiety about going and Billy talked him down out of the trees, telling him it would be okay because God would be watching over him. And they did let him wear his bandanna mask which he doesn't mind so much as it's easier to breath with. Afterwards, I prayed specifically for our Lord to post a hedge of His guardian angels all around Jayden throughout the day and keep him calm and focused. After school, they were out on a family walk together and he called to report that school had actually turned out to be fun and that he'd had a good day so he wasn't scared anymore. I told him what I had prayed for him and he said "Really, Grandma...maybe that's why I found that sign laying on the curb when we got home today." I asked him "What sign?" He said it was about angels and when they got back to the house, he texted me a pic of this 2' rustic wooden board painted with the words
"ANGELS danced the day you were born". That was just such a faith confirming gift for that child
and I do Praise our Lord for such a sweet nod to this ol' grandmother's prayer:-)

So, what is the GOOD NEWS? Well, with SBN's study, it seems FoT was fulffiled at Christ's BIRTH. The 'shout' made at the New Year was made by the Holy Angelic Host which the sheperds were witness to.
Like we were Witnesses to TGW of R12 1-2 in 2017.
As some agree, Nine Eleven of 3BC was the 'date' of the human birth of Jesus Christ, which so happens to also be FoT (of 3BC).
So with Pentecost + the Fall Feasts of the LORD have been fulfilled, perhaps we are again waiting for a Jubilee Year and a "certain" anniversary/ appoionted time?
While we wade through TBA now, looking ahead to a very special BirthDAY anniversary (BTW, Christ was born in a Jubilee Year).

ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I commented and I want to thank Brad for his faithfulness and the good way he keep us encouraged and allows us to encourage one another as we see the day approaching. I have been reading Oswald Chambers "My Utmost For His Highest" daily devotional for a few years and I can see how Oswald understood that our joy is found in resting, abiding and identifying with Jesus and the good world He is doing in me, through me and around me.
I didn't think three years ago that we would still be here watching the signs of Jesus' soon return to Rapture His Bride, the Church. And I didn't think we would be experiencing the oppression, distress and vexation of the soul because of the increased immoral, wicked, lawless and misguided deeds that are being done as we deal with the deception of the coming Globalism, Tyranny and Technocracy. And in this season, with the political divide that is pulling America apart my main activity of watching is to watching over my heart, so it does not become divided but it will remains focused on Jesus and telling people about the good news of Salvation in Jesus and the good life that is found by abiding in Jesus. Come what may, Jesus is King and Lord of all!

ReplyDeleteThe Earth, Just Before the Rapture - (Bill Perkins)
One of the more remarkable Scriptures in the Bible is the statement in both Matthew and Luke that the coming of the Lord will be just like in the "days of Noah" before God flooded the earth.
"For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be" (Matt. 24:37-39).
In a parallel verse in Luke, it says there will also be buying/selling and planting/harvesting (Luke 17:28).
Since there will be food, clothing, social engagements and an economy right up to Jesus' coming, the Bible tells us it will be business as usual on the earth right up to the end of the Church age.
Therefore, that amazing event-the Rapture, will catch the world by stunning surprise, just as the flood surprised those alive in the days of Noah.
Before the Rapture or the Second Coming?
The events on the earth leading up to the Second Coming are genuinely horrific. War, famine, disease and an earthquake so large that ALL the mountains on the earth fall down, clearly confirm that these verses about the 'days of Noah" can't be referring to the Second Coming.
Therefore the "days of Noah" verses, unmistakably, have to be referring to Jesus' coming at the Rapture. Which also tells us times will be basically normal just before the Rapture.
So the model Jesus gave us is this:
1) God reveals His plan to His Chosen.
2) God shuts the door.
3) The ark floats up and above the flood.
4) The ark returns to the earth.
5) A new dispensation begins.
Therefore we can conclude:
1) God reveals His plan to His Church.
2) God shuts the door with Rapture.
3) The Church is taken up above the Tribulation.
4) The Church returns with Christ back to the earth .
5) A new dispensation begins.
(We would be remiss in our duties if we didn't also point out that Noah was pre-flood, not mid-flood or post-flood!)
What can we learn?
Before the flood, people watched Noah build the ark for over 100 years. He had to be the laughing stock of the world. Noah's detractors believed he was squandering his wealth and wasting his time building a huge boat to survive a flood. And don't forget, up until the flood it had never rained a single drop of water on the earth!
"But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground" (Gen. 2:6).
No doubt this is a big reason Noah is in the Bible's faith "Hall of Fame" in Hebrews 11.
"By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household..." (Heb. 11:7).
Noah trusted by faith that God's promises were forever. He didn't understand it all, but by faith did what God asked him to do.
"...Noah, a preacher of righteousness..." (2 Peter 2:5).
Noah continued faithfully preaching God's plan for over 100 years. The world saw Noah finish construction of the ark and some probably saw the animals being loaded inside. They watched but did not listen to Noah's warnings, blatantly mocking the idea that in the future things would drastically change.
We are warned in the latter days the world would also mock the flood and creation.
"Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.
For when they maintain this, it escapes notice that by the Word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water" (2 Peter 3:3-6).
Today, we see attacks on the Bible like no other time in history. The national media disdainfully mocks any presidential candidate who professes to believe biblical creation over the theory of evolution. They also mock the biblical account of Noah's worldwide flood.
DeleteBut just as "God shut the door" of the ark, He will also shut the door with the Rapture. The "door" of the ark is, of course, representative of Jesus.
"Then Jesus therefore said to them again, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep'" (John 10:7).
When God shut the door on the ark, it was too late for the non-believers on the earth to miss the flood. When God shuts the door at the Rapture, it's going to be too late for non-believers to miss the Tribulation. Noah floated up over the flood, protected by God, returned back to earth and a new dispensation began.
The Church will go up (Rapture) and over the Tribulation, attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and then return to earth as a new dispensation begins. But there is one more characteristic of the Days of Noah that few people talk about-the Nephilim. The Nephilim were half angel and half human.
The world was so wicked in the days of Noah that fallen angels came to earth and mated with humans, creating a super-race. Only Noah and his family were spared as God dealt with these strange creatures.
"The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown" (Gen. 6:4).
Angels are quite interesting creatures. The Bible tells us that even today, some of the people walking the earth are actually angels in disguise.
"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it" (Heb. 13:2).
When Satan fell, one-third of the angels broke away and followed him. Of that fallen group came those angels who came to the earth to mate with humans.
These were the worst of the worst angels. At the time of the flood, God imprisoned them in the center of the earth, or the "bottomless pit."
When Jesus talked to the demonic man on the Sea of Galilee, the demons in him pleaded not to be sent to the bottomless pit (abyss) before their time.
"And Jesus asked him, 'What is your name? 'And he said, 'Legion, for many demons had entered him.' And they were entreating Him not to command them to depart into the abyss" (Luke 8:30-31).
Unimaginably, in the Tribulation, these monsters will be released to torment those here on the earth.
"And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key of the bottomless pit was given to him. And he opened the bottomless pit; and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit" (Rev. 9:1-2).
The Bible warns us that we're not up against people in this life, but rather our fight is against the spiritual world of darkness.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Eph. 6:12).
Scientists are today working with artificial intelligence and nanotechnology to construct a third strand of DNA that will purportedly make our bodies disease free. Who will control the direction of these experiments? Our minds, memories, physiology and even offspring could be affected. More important, is this a step toward a race similar to the Nephilim?
I would hate to be on this earth when control of all this ends up in one man's hands!

DeleteBlessings Family! I"d like to share a couple of short dreams I had last night that I believe are speaking to the time frame we are currently in. Please share anything the Lord speaks to you regarding them.
ReplyDeleteThe first dream took place at a railroad crossing. There were a handful of people, including myself and my mom, who were standing at the tracks where the crossing arms would be. I'm not sure if the crossing arms were missing or not working, but whatever the case we were standing in their place acting as the warning signal to those around us that the train was coming.
After some time had passed, and no train had come, a woman who was a bystander, called out saying that just like the last time, the train wasn't coming. [Meaning, just like there was no Rapture at FoT/Rev12 Sign2017 there wouldn't be one this time. I believe she represents the scoffers and mockers]
Within seconds/minutes of her saying this, a sudden storm of thunder and lightening but no rain developed right above us. I then saw a strange man across the way lighting small fires. Then the dream fizzled out and ended.
The second dream took place in a large open field with the seashore nearby. It was set in what felt like colonial times America. I was part of a colony group that was considered insignificant. Our colony was minding our business in the open field, when another very large colony came toward us from the seashore. This other colony despised us and looked down on us but begrudgingly came to us because they needed something we had. I'm not sure how to describe this part. They had 2 tile/clay-like squares (about 12x12) which represented their land that needed to be embossed with a particular stamp in order for their land to be valid. A stamp that our colony alone possessed. We agreed to stamp their tiles. I was in charge of stamping them. I pressed too hard on the first tile, breaking the clay embossed stamp mark. (Which I hid from their knowledge) I used a lighter touch on the second tile and embossed it without issue. Then the dream ended.
To me, this second dream may speak of the Abraham Accord but I would love to hear what you all see in these two dreams!

Mom...interesting dreams and I believe you nailed it on the second one. They are supposed to sign that deal at the WH on the 13th I believe, which is oddly enough on a Sunday. I'll have to be thinking on that first one, but with it being a place of "crossing", a sudden "unfruitful' storm and a strange man lighting small fires, it may well be connected to the second dream. When they sign that Accord, perhaps "railroading" Israel into that covenant with death and hell, it's gonna light some ME fires (and a favorite tactic of Hamas is those balloon incendiary devices they use to set "small" fires all along the Israeli border.) I think somehow the tile "stamping" is related to the difference between the two "colonies" with the one you belonged to being sealed by the Indwelling Holy Spirit and which is about to be withdrawn (i.e. hidden) and thus breaking apart--while the other larger 'envious' colony will desire the MOTB, thus it's being successfully embossed? I'm sure there is a lot more to it, though:-)
DeleteI got some "Time to Go" encouragement a bit ago. Yesterday I was taking a quick nap on the sofa and had a vivid, but strange dream. In it I found myself in a small unfamiliar apartment with a large German Shepherd dog that was affectionate and acted like he belonged with me. After giving the dog a good belly rub, I stepped outside to check out the surroundings. It was obviously in a city with busy crossroads and seedy run down conditions. Being an old country gal, I thought to myself that it was no place for me and that big German Shepherd dog to be and we needed to get out of there. As I turned around to go back inside where the dog was waiting for me, I noticed the number on the apartment door was 227 and then I woke up. Had no idea what this dream could mean as I haven't really been around that type of dog since I was a kid. So I looked up 227 in the Strongs:
G#227 means TRUE
H#227 means AT THAT TIME (whether expressing duration or inception)
Still no idea about the dream until I caught @Sherry Rich's YT video today with the German Shepherd thumbnail titled "Dream and A Confirm!!! Ready To Go Home, Hang On-The Shepherd Is Getting Ready To Come Forth". (5.5 min)
So I believe it was likely another confirmation for what she is sharing in that message:-)

Your dream makes me think of how we are living in a temporal place (apartment) amid an increasing reprehensible society (seedy, run down city). The German Shepherd may well represent our Good Shepherd who watches over us and protects us.

Here's the excerpt:

While I can only say that I am deeply Blessed by your comment, esp as relates to having been Moved Of The Spirit to share these Truths from the pulpit, I am certain that the sentiment is rather universal, here. Many a post laments the absence of same from any local church one might find.

DeleteOne way or the other I believe we will know this month of SEPTEMBER more of what God plans to do through us--whether we are glorified and minister for a short time before we're raptured OR simultaneously transformed and raptured! The wording of 1 Cor 15:51-52 and 1 Thess 4:16-17 appears to explain a simultaneous event of transformation and meeting the Lord in the air.

A whale of a story as Tahlequah the Orca, who in 2018 swam 1000 miles of ocean water carrying her dead baby aloft on her head for 17 straight days in what was famously dubbed as "The Tour of Grief" has given birth on or about Sept. 4th to a new apparently and hopefully healthy calf in US waters near the Washington/Canadian border. This newborn brings the Southern Resident Killer Whale population to 73. The mother whale has been tagged by researchers as J35 and her calf tagged as J57. Looked at the Hebrew in Strong's and hmmm....

I just watched Before the Wrath. I read a Rapture article at Unsealed from April and someone commented about it. Very instructive. So the ancient Galilean Weddings are an exact mirror of the Betrothal, Rapture and Wedding Feast and undoubtedly our Lord planned it this way. The Bride sleeps in her wedding dress and keeps oil in the lamp and the groom often comes to get her at night. Understanding the culture and customs really helps solidify the doctrine of the pre-Trib Rapture but then again I always believed in it. This just adds to my understanding and anticipation.

I don’t have anything against the post tribbers. I think they’ll be happily surprised. I just think it’s God’s pattern ie Noah, Enoch, Lot, etc to rescue His ppl before disaster/judgment hits. The Blessed Hope is truly keeping many of us going and unafraid of the avalanche of bad news these days. God told Abraham that if there were just 10 righteous in Sodom and Gomorrah that He wouldn’t destroy it. I’ve read that those two cities may have had a population of 600-1200 but surrounding cities put the figure as high as 200,000 but if it were as little as 600, 10 isn’t really a lot of righteous ppl and yet God would not have destroyed them because it’s not in keeping with His Character to destroy the righteous with the unrighteous. Now, I know bad things do happen to good ppl all the time, but as far as Biblical examples, we pre tribbers have good reason to be excited imho.

That must be very scary to see those flames closing in towards your local area. I can only imagine it would be very worrying. But God has this. not a sparrow falls from the sky without his knowing. He has numbered the hairs on our head, and whatever hardship we have to endure in this world, will pale in to insignificance when we are relocated to our eternal dwelling place. But praying for you sister, that the flames stay far from your home, and that all the people you care about are kept safe from it's path.
Thank you too Jeova, for all those wonderful snapshots of reasons to be watchful that you post here, I think those messages have got many of us through one more month of anticipation, and eager watching.
Hopefully this month is our departure time, it certainly feels like it should be.

Sheila B., Blessings. Don't think I've mentioned, but the Renaissance Festivals were a staple of my life in CA and, when I could find them, when elsewhere. At the Cincy RenFest, the Mrs. and I put together and ran a Fencing tent/booth: 'The Fencer's Guylde of the Queen's City'. (Cincinnati commonly referred to as The Queen City.) For $5, a person got 2 tokens, either of which were good for a lesson, or a match, with a Guyldie (both lads and lasses in our Guylde, all recruited from the Univ Cincy Fencing Club, and comp'ed when they turned in their coins.) We only did it that one year, many tales to tell, and our booth was the most popular at that year's RenFest, but that's another story.
Blessings Jordan and well done! This is a sobering message and not an easy truth to tell, but your willing heart to do as the Lord leads will have great reward. Kudos to you for stepping out in faith with a humble heart. Embrace the voice the Lord gave you, I guarantee that He is using it beyond measure. Keep it up, Brother!

The latest one near us was accidently started by a gender reveal party and as of this morning, has burned over 10,000 acres. We are not in danger from it thankfully, but have been covered in ash by it.

All those images and references to the loosening of the demons and Fallen Angels from the Abyss, of Apollyon in particular reminded me of the verse in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. In studying the verse in Greek again, this time, it stood out to me.
It will be none other than the ‘Son of Apollo’ by inference of who the AntiChrist will receive his power from, of course ultimately, Lucifer himself. In 1 Thessalonian 2:3, the translation from the Greek, ‘Son of Perdition’, has the word ‘Perdition’ to mean ‘Apoleias’ or that of Apollo or Apollyon. Thus, the AntiChrist will be the ‘Son of the Destroyer’, etc.
Up here north of San Fran, we just had a most intense heat wave, shattering records. Presently the sky is all grey with smoke from the fires and last night the moon was orange. Thanks for all of your concerns for us here in the People's Republic of Kalifornia. :)
