A Final Plea For Pastors...

Our brother Steven reached out to me with a some documents he created that he plans to give to churches in his area. Perhaps you have felt called to do something similar so I wanted to make these resources available.  Steven encourages you to use these words and documents freely.  Thanks Steven, you have given us a wonderful example to follow!

Here is his email to me:

Hi Brad, we have one Sunday left before the sign and I feel it's time for the big push. Maybe people could ask their local Churches to pray over all of this. I'm putting these three easily printable items in and delivering them to some of the Churches in my area, as requests to pray over. I think that if people want to get involved they can send prayer requests with multiple items/links to the online prayer request sites that most Church websites have as well. If Pastors are asked to have the Church pray over this, maybe they will feel compelled to mention it regardless of there position. And lets face it brother, we need as much prayer as we can get over this! I did change my flyer a little bit too. God bless you brother, I can't wait to meet you in Heaven.
Grace & Peace,

Steven

Here is the text he is using in his main letter...

Beloved,
I pray that you take the time to examine this with your whole heart. There is an astronomical event taking place in the sky that we believe may be a fulfillment of the vision seen by the apostle John in (Revelation 12:1-2), which was a revealing of things to come (Revelation 1:1). Before you disregard this as foolishness, I should warn you that God in His infinite wisdom said He would use the foolish things of this world through those weaker vessels. As it is written, But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong (1 Corinthians 1:27). We feel that it is the responsibility of the Church and Pastor to discuss this event with its members regardless of any opinion or position held for or against it. We are not saying that the rapture will happen on September 23rd, 2017. We believe Revelation 12 is a prophecy to the Church (The Body of Christ) who will be saved from the Wrath to come (1 Thessalonians 5:9), and to the remnant (Israel), who will be saved through the tribulation, and to the rest of mankind, who can be saved during the tribulation if they will trust in the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, and refuse the mark of the beast which will be implemented during this time, even if it requires death. To escape this fast approaching time of tribulation, you must receive the gift of salvation God is offering you freely. To receive it you must simply believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Now just confess this with your mouth and be saved (Romans 10:9). God shows His love to us by indwelling us with His Holy Spirit as a token of His grace, when we believe in Him. This token of grace is God’s seal that represents His payment for our sin debt that we couldn’t satisfy (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). We believe the Body of Christ is a new creature forming, waiting to be born (Romans 8:18-25), when Christ will redeem what He purchased (Ephesians 1:14). We are those who watch for this day, longing to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. We do not love this world, and we follow Christ. We are sinners, foolish and weak, having no righteousness of our own, we are found blameless, in His righteousness. Hear the Watchman’s Cry! Now is the time for salvation!

Remember, if you can get a pastor to do their own research, God can change there hearts.

  1. As a pastor, this had been shared countless times to many. As I shared this yesterday, some older believers were very sure this was wrong.
Praying for eyes to be open by Yahweh.
    Thanks so much.

    2. Brother Ken, you are right, I believe that many pastors do know about the Revelation 12 Sign, but there seems to be a fear or reluctance to address it specifically. There seems to be a willingness to point out the lateness of the hour, and even a recognition to the obvious convergence of events that should cause one to start looking up, yet an overly cautious approach to identifying what I believe could be our visitation. Dear Pastors, especially those I have spoken to, I say this not to shame you, but to encourage you to speak out in faith. I can't help but wonder what it is that holds one back. Is it the words of Jesus when He said "A wicked and adulterous generation seeks for a sign" (Matthew 12:39)(Matthew 16:4)(Mark 8:12)(Luke 11:29) that causes one to fear and lose the faith to watch without fear? The context is key friends, they were demanding a sign, while He was giving them many. The eyes of there hearts were closed and could not see right in front of them. We are not seeking after a sign, He is giving us one, even so we are still an evil and adulterous generation, and some of us demand more. Brothers and Sisters, do not fear, for perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). We warn out of love because we don't want anyone to perish. Open the eyes of your hearts and see. None of us know for sure what is going to happen in these next couple of weeks, but we have this hope burning inside of us (Romans 8:24-25). All glory and honor be to God.
      Come Lord Jesus.
      Steven

  2. I have to brag on my Pastor. He brought it up in church last Sunday. He did not say "This is it", nor do I expect him to. But he did make it sound compelling. He encouraged everyone to research it for themselves.

  3. If pastors continue preaching like things are "Nothing out of the ordinary" I'd be rather disappointed... Luke 18:8 b)

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
