What’s Coming Soon?
The Doomsday Clock is a symbolic warning about how close the world stands to “midnight,” or global catastrophe. Over the years, the clock has inched closer to midnight as turmoil around the world has increased at an alarming rate. To many, it seems that significant, foreboding events are at hand. The Bible tells us that “in the last days perilous times shall come” (2 Timothy 3:1). Jesus prophesied that as the end times draw near, “nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places” (Matthew 24:7). The events we see in the news every day indicate that the greatest event of all time is soon to take place.

Not What, But Who
Jesus is coming soon! At any moment, we could witness the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to this world. He has been here before. He was born as a baby and lived a perfect, sinless life of love and goodness—a life never before lived or known among men. Men rewarded Him for it by crucifying Him and hanging Him between two criminals. Then, three days after His death, He triumphantly rose from the dead. After encouraging His followers, Jesus ascended to heaven. As His disciples watched, an angel announced: “Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner” (Acts 1:11). First, He will descend from heaven to meet every true believer. They “shall be caught up together … in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:17). Secondly, Christ will return to the earth itself—in power, judgment, and glory—accompanied by the hosts of heaven. “Behold, He cometh with clouds … and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him” (Revelation 1:7).
What Happens Then?
If you are not a believer in Jesus Christ, you will be left behind to face the terrible judgments of God upon this Christ-rejecting world. The effect will be terrible, as the Bible foretells that people from every walk of life will cry out “to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from … the wrath of the Lamb: for the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:16-17).The great and small, rich and poor, weak and powerful—all who have not bowed their knees to Jesus the Savior now—will bow them to Jesus the Judge at the final Great White Throne judgment. “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15).
Will You Be Ready?
Dear reader, are you ready for the coming of Jesus Christ? Have you turned to God in repentance, and are you washed from your sins through faith in Jesus Christ? Or are you still rejecting Him and sealing your doom? Now is the time to recognize your need of Him and put your trust in the sinless Son of God who died for your sins and rose again to be your Savior. Bow the knee to Jesus today. Tomorrow may be too late.
“Flee from the wrath to come” (Matthew 3:7) and enjoy the presence of God for all eternity. Your opportunity is now. “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2).
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).

The Revelation 12 Sign will be fulfilled soon. There is a chance Christ could return around the time of this alignment. Surrender your life to Jesus today. With all the signs around us I really don't think we will have to wait around for years and years to see our Savior... In fact, His return could be imminent! Give your life to the Lord today and be saved from the wrath to come. (Luke 21:36 KJV)
Maranatha!
ReplyDeleteI have been a close follower of the Rev 12 sign for the past six months. I am among those who believe that Rev 12:1-2 will be fulfilled on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBut let's suppose I'm wrong. Suppose all of this was a giant mistake. Suppose I have completely misunderstood everything about Revelation 12. In that case, it is a mistake I am glad I made. Over the past six months:
* I have sought the Lord more than I ever have before
* I have prayed more
* I have studied the Word more
* I have tried harder to share the gospel with more people and urged them to be ready to meet the Lord
* I have let go of the things of this world and become more distanced from the cares of this life that distract from the Lord
* I have had more of a passion and focus for God
The Lord is still going to come back. One day I will meet Him, whether it be through the Rapture or through my death. And I am glad I went through all of this, for it showed me sin and hardness I was not aware I had, and it helped me with my walk with the Lord.
I do not know what Saturday will bring. But no matter what happens I have no regrets.
Jonathan
Awesome Jonathan. The key thing is to continue sharing the gospel and proclaiming Jesus near return should 'nothing' happen tomorrow (except the sign of course). I am one of those who believe other things must happen before we are raptured, but my wife will tell you I am not always right. Tomorrow may well begin the start of the tribulation and a hastening of the ID of the AC. We must not get discouraged and should be even more fervent in preaching the gospel! Maranatha!!!

I notice that the new moon has been sighted by at least 2 witnesses in Israel. Therefore my understanding is that the Feast of Trumpets runs from this evening (21st) through to sunset tomorrow (22nd).
ReplyDeleteBTW I echo your thoughts Jonathan :)

My understanding is that the sighting is confirmed but will be sanctified during the day(morning of the 22nd). Which means, they will celebrate it for a "long day" until the evening of the 23rd, or 1 full day starting at sunset on the 22nd to sunset of the 23rd. Anyone else get that too?
DeleteWhat is this about sanctifying?
DeleteBrad's link below goes over it in much more depth. But basically since a day is sundown to sundown, and a sighting of the new moon is seen at night, the legitimacy of the new moon sighting would be made during the 2nd half of the day, aka the daytime. So the celebration of the new moon and Feast of Trumpets would continue on to the next sundown to sundown cycle. 21-22 = sighting and confirmation, 22-23 = rest of the celebration and trumpet blasts! Hope that makes sense!

Now we have to count to the 100th blowing of the shofar...which is the last trump.
Praise Abba, our Father, YHWH!!
I hope we can get an article submitted here which adds more timing clarity and more about the trumpet sounds!!

Thank You!!
DeleteThanks! I ordered 100 of those for delivery by priority mail. I figured, if I'm not here to pass them out I'm sure someone is going to open my mail since I'm gone. And what a find that will be. I might be able to still be a witness after the rapture. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat about Leviticus 25: 8-9? This is a Jubilee Year
ReplyDeleteI'm terribly confused! What have I missed...when is the last trump? Abba bless you all for any clarification! Maranatha

I'm thinking we may not know exactly when the last trump of a shofar sounds in Israel, but we do anticipate the feast itself, from sunset on 9/21 to sunset on 9/23. I'm hoping to hear the last trump anywhere in this timeframe. If not, I will press on in faith and hope knowing we will see Him. Keep watching, Sharon. Peace!
