We Are To "Watch" But What Does That Really Mean?

I have personally found that some people who I have shared the Rev12 Sign with don't even realize that Jesus has commanded us to WATCH for His coming.  Therefore, conveying that command is an important part of them taking Eschatology seriously.

So with that in mind, I pray this outstanding summary of Spiritual Watching will give you more insight into your own duties as a Christian and perhaps a little more Biblical truth to help wake up others who are asleep.

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
