Proof of the Rapture in Revelation 12

A lot of sceptics of this sign seem to think that this idea of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture in Revelation 12 is some crazy new idea. Most of these people would be shocked to learn that this interpretation has been around since the 1800's and it was held by the father of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture movement.... John Nelson Darby! 

In fact, Rev 12:5 is considered by brilliant men such as Darby (1839), Wordsworth (1849), Baxter (1863),  Kelly (1870), Chester (1882), Worrel (1900), Blackstone (1904), Henry Ironside (1919) as proof of the Church being caught up to Christ.  Darby and others saw it as the KEY exegetical proof of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture since it clearly shows WHEN the rapture happens.   Many of you have heard Scott Clarke talk about Dr. Michael Svigel's work... now you can read for yourself the foundational paper that clearly lays out the thoughts of many solid theologians from years past connecting Revelation 12 and the rapture.
