3 New Articles for October 1st

I can imagine many of you are disappointed we did not see anything huge happen yesterday.  If you feel despair, I have this one suggestion... run to Christ.  Throw yourself at the foot of the cross.  Imagine him hanging there in your place... blood dripping down that should have been our own.  Imagine him straining for each breath... freely able to remove himself from the pain yet willingly suffering out of immense LOVE for you and me.  When we feel hopeless... remember what the God-Man did for us and the eternal hope we have.  This momentary struggle is nothing compared to what waits for us...
For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
Remember my present wrapping analogy from a few days ago and the character of our Good Father.  Try to figure out what lesson He is trying to teach us during this process.  Each step, each day, even each disappointment brings us one step closer to our blessed hope.   We are in this together, we are eagerly waiting together.  Keep each other awake, encouraged, and comforted.  The Lord put us together for a reason,  let us continue to comfort one another just as you guys have been doing.

Anyway, its been a busy weekend for us... but I found three articles you may want to check out while we continue to wait... I pray the wise words and info in the articles below encourage you today.

  1. I shared this on yesterdays post but incase you don't read that, I will post it again on this post. Good morning, everyone! I have enjoyed reading all of your post from yesterday. As I woke up this morning, I felt a tinge of disappointment but it went away quickly. I have hope that the rapture will happen soon. When I was pregnant with my son, I had a dream. There were floods and destruction everywhere. I was separated from my husband and children during the storms but my son stayed with me. I was floating down a river with other people and I told them that we needed to pray. We finally came to land and I met this gentleman. We arrived to land and this man stayed beside me to help me. I saw two bridges. One led up that resembled an overpass in a big city but it was a narrow overpass. The other went into the ground under the overpass. Their were two demons that stood beside the underground and an angel that stood to the left side of the overpass. When my son and I as well as the man came to the entrance of the bridges, we stood in front of the angel. He turned to the man and told the man that he was not allowed to enter the top bridge and sent him down below. He then turned to me and reached out for my hand. He then wiped Jesus's blood on my hand and told me to go up. This whole time my son was holding my other hand. I could see that the demons were snickering off to the side. My son was around the age of 5ys to 6yrs old. He is now 5yrs old. I have hope that we are now in those times and I will never lose hope. God bless you all.

    2. Thank you for sharing... Powerful. Reminds me of the Passover... But in this case if you have the blood you can use the Overpass!

  2. I have no doubts about God, the Rapture or the second coming but I have trouble with how so many things pointed to this time. The 23rd sign, was a sign, like being on a road, it tells you whats the next exit but it is not the exit itself. The Day of Atonement looked like it ticked all the boxes but alas God had more to show us before He says OK. So I sit, wait, watch and tell others that will listen that the Lord is about to return for His people and hope that I don't become too complacent in this fallen world.

    1. Maybe tell people about salvation before telling them of the Lord's return, even when Paul preached to new places he preached just the milk, wanted nothing more known to them other than salvation:

1 Corinthians 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

But then you see after Paul had spread the message of salvation to the church of Corinth he started giving them more information, but all that extra information is useless unless the person is saved.

    2. I agree. Why lose credibility by predictiong specific dates? I am trying to Share the message that all of the recent disasters, threats of nuclear war, etc have made me and many others more anxious and the solution for me is to pray more and to ask others, " How sre you coping?" This plants a seed and can lead to more candid conversations. Obviously, some are more open to considering prayer as an option than others.

  3. Keiland Edmonds is clearly supporting the pre-wrath/mid-trib rapture point of view. I noticed it in his previous article too that he totally confuses the Body of Christ with the Tribulation Saints described in Revelation 7. He also writes:

“You’ll notice in Mathew 24 that Jesus lists the birth pangs in the same order that the first 4 seals are sequenced in Revelation. The tribulation here described with the 4 horsemen can certainly be seen as having already had historical fulfillments, especially in the last century with exponentially increasing measures, which means that the Church has no promise of escaping such things—at least, not until the 6th seal, which is likely the next event on our calendar. I say this because the 6th seal, as indicated in Matthew 24, is the end of tribulation and the start of something worse, something twice called wrath in Revelation’s 6th seal, an event prophesied in the Old Testament as the “Day of the Lord”.

The 6th seal as the likely next event on our calendar… Excuse me? Daniel’s 70th week is a complete 7 years long period of tribulation time in itself! (Yes, it has two 3,5 years long parts and yes, the second one is called the *great-tribulation* but it doesn’t change the fact that it hasn’t started yet! Where is the big peace covenant confirmed by the Antichrist -who is praised and celebrated by the whole world for it-with many? For starters...) Daniel’s 70th week simply can’t be mingled with the wars and rumors of wars of our last century, neither with all of the other birth pangs of the past and our current times! Not to mention that it will be a different dispensation! Yes, it is true that the pre-70th week birth-pangs are paralleling the first four seals that the Lord will open in the future BUT they are NOT the seals themselves currently happening! Please, a bit of more (much more) discernment! Also, given how Mr. Edmonds explained and used the Olivet Discourse Parables in his previous article, I’ll avoid his studies in the future.

    1. In absolute agreement. Whether intentional or not, there is the typical mid-trib twist being pushed in his article. To consider that 1/4 of the World's population is subject to death, whether all will be killed or not we don't know, and to say that is not wrath is twisting. I, too, will avoid his articles in the future. Blessings - Sherry

    2. So many now are forsaking the blessed hope or believing that we're all going to be going through he tribulation and those that are chosen or most prepared or care most about Christ will come out safe. It's so silly that these people think they can earn it somehow. There is so much twisting of doctrines and words now that it's difficult to not be swept away by it.

    3. I am pre-trib and do not believe the seals are part of Daniel's 70th week. The seals are not judgments. Events described in seals 1-4 (deception, inflation, death, famine, etc) have been happening already and while they will increase in volume, they are not the unique plagues described in the trumpets or bowls of wrath. Even if one has doubts about this, notice that seal 5 cannot even be considered a judgment or plague at all...there have been martyrs for Christ since Christianity began and I believe they will be especially blessed for their faith. And in seal 5, the Lord actually comforts those who have been killed for their faith by giving the souls under the altar white robes. White robes are given to bodies. I think it's plausible that "the dead in Christ rise first" and receive white robes. I believe in a 6th seal "we who are alive and remain" harpazo. Maybe these two overlap a bit. Jesus is the one who opens the seals. After the sixth seal, and before the seventh, a great multitude appears in heaven of all nations, kindreds and tongues offering praise to God for His salvation. After the seventh seal, which describes an atonement ritual, the angels prepare themselves to sound. The angels then administer the trumpets and bowls. (Because I believe Jesus is rejoicing for these 7 years with His bride.) I realize I am fallible and may not have this 100% but I did want to raise my hand as one who is pre-trib and who believes the 7-years of Jacob's Trouble begins after the seals.

    4. Hillary,

With respect I disagree. I believe so, when Jesus opens the first seal, the Church will be already in Heaven with Him. (The great multitude under the Lord's throne are the ones who are coming out of the tribulation as Scripture says, the tribulation believers who are often mixed up with the Church.)

    5. In one of my previous comments on this site I explained in detail why I believe what I believe concerning this topic. All in all, that's my interpretation. We should wait and see how the Lord will unfold all these things.

    6. The more I’m thinking about it, the more I see how the 7 seals judgments together with the 7 trumpets and 7 bowls (even in their names and numbers! 3X7) are all part of a whole unit confined within a 7 years long period (Daniel’s 70th Week) that has a very definitive beginning and end! I couldn’t see them apart nor mix them with the pre-70th Week birth pangs. The seriousness of the fact that the Lord is starting to open those seals (therefore beginning the whole process) as the One who is only worthy is emphasized. (There’s that long silence in Heaven before He starts it.) Same observation and conclusion goes for that distinct group of people, *the tribulation saints* who are accepting Christ during these horrible years (while angels are –also- sharing the Gospel) but they’re not part of the Church (even if they are –obviously- from many nations and tongues).

  4. We learn as we go. The church has taught for years that Ezekiel 37 was fulfilled in 1948. It was not for Ezekiel 37 is the whole house of Israel. Rather it was a fulfilment of Ezekiel 36 as the land has been prepared to receive the people.

What people need to due is go to the scriptures. The Jubilee plays a big role.

    1. 2017 the sign of the travailing woman. At best we have to get thru this current jubilee period/year if indeed we are in the correct year. Acts 3:21.

    2. Evidence we are within three years of the right year of jubilee.

    a. Simple math tells us that 67-68 A.D. would be about the time of the jubilee. 67-73 A.D. The first Jewish war. Jerusalem is destroyed and the times ( feasts ) of the gentiles begins as the gentiles gain control over Jerusalem and the Jewish feasts are performed among the gentiles . To this day in Jerusalem there are places the Jews cannot go. We are still in the times of the gentiles.

    b. 533 B.C. The Jews begin to return from Babylon in 536 B.C. and By 530 B.C. the second temple is built.

    c. 1483 B.C. The date of the exodus . It falls on the same days of the week as the passion week of 33 A.D. which is marked by a blood moon.

    1. Jesus gathers the "Dry Bones" of Israel in Eze 37 at the second coming. He will join the 10 tribes (Ephraim) and 2 tribes (Judah) (Eze 37:16) with King David as King (Eze 37:24) and Jesus as the Tabernacle of God (Eze 37:27) This will be done during the Millennium and was not done in 1948. Gog and Magog will be the world's final rebellion against God (Eze 38-39; Rev 20:7-8) at the end of the Millennium "After the thousand years"

    2. That's how I understood Gog and Magog as well. What we're seeing now may be a manipulation of scripture being played out by satan through the powers that be, those in the shadow.

  5. @#2 article: &smack!& Uuuhhgh! {facepalm} I GOT THE MENORAH WRONG!!! If the Festivals order is according to Menorah then TABERNACLES is "next" indeed as the "middle candle"! Thus, we might have the order for the Jews again during tribulation: Pentecost (pouring out of Spirit = Joel 2:28) after the churches' departure and spiritual healing inside Israel, Trumpets and Atonement in 2024 then 7 years later fulfilled at the Second Coming when the "7 days of Tabernacles" with Christ in Heaven are over? Are those the same as the "7 days of Noah" for Israel (hidden in the wilderness on earth)? We all know that Noah isn't the real picture of the church but it is for the Israel remnant. Enoch raptured is the actual church pattern. After all, I was the first time ever dealing with the Festivals in detail and therefore was possibly mislead by Scott Clarkes Menorah graphics showing Leviticus 23 in correct order (Pentecost 4th middle candle) but perhaps this is the reason why we got it ALL wrong?? Could that be? How are your thoughts on this? MARANATHA and blessings to all of you!

    1. Intereresting reading the scriptures on tabernacles. While we have historically held the feast to align with Jesus final 'harvest' at the end of the 7 years, there are hints of his first return (let me lay aside my pre wrath perspective for a minute). Firstly 7 days cs 7 years feasting with the Lord. It is a harvest feast. Israel were told to gather olive branches and WILD olive branches (while not vine branches, still an interesting analogy). Isaiah 26:20 is interesting to read in light of tabernacles. All males were commanded to attend the feast (cf male child in rev12). Anyway - may not be anything, but the study is worth it.

  6. I really appreciated this article as I've had similar thoughts about the similarities of the birth pangs and the seals. It is very hard for us to let go of our pet interpretations but didn't we do just that with the Rev.12 sign? And all the bible sleuthing that has been done because of the corporate interpretation has been such an encouragement to those who have eyes, ears and hearts open. Lets keep digging into the banquet of God's word as we SEE the day approaching. Have His Shalom dear brothers and sisters in Yeshua.

    1. Dear Ammi, I myself have got no problem with "letting go pet interpretations" because this is the only way we learn best. It must be biblical, plausible and logical though. As you also mention, "keeping digging into the banquet of Gods word" is the best we can do. I'm sure He smiles at us while all the angels rejoice with Him! My question is: can we EVER deal too little with His word? A strong argument against the mockers though, even if we might fail in some predictions or presumptions.

  7. I really did like, in the 2nd article, the "hint" in John 7 of Yeshua going up "in secret" to the Feast of Tabernacles as pointing to a potential Rapture. There are many who have pointed to Tabernacles all along, Randall Goodwin whose book is on the Jubilee is one. He also believes 2017-2018 is Jubilee. Blessings - Sherry

  8. I absolutely believe this is the time frame and we are to be ready but as I am sitting here in hopeful expectation while thinking how everyone here is giving me that ol' stink eye, the Lord reminded me of the onus of those who are called to do the watching.
Every tornado season, which seems to be year around anymore, I am the one watching for the warnings when a severe storm is upon us. I am the one, who when we are told to take shelter immediately in the middle of the night, has to drag them all out of bed, and get them through the pouring rain and lightening, into the shelter. When the storm blows over and nothing happened at our house, I have to deal with cranky angry people for disturbing their sleep. But had the tornado hit us instead of the neighbor down the road, then I would be responsible for way worse than crankiness and anger. So I will continue to wait, be on high watch, and try to keep them watching as best I can. Thank you all for keeping me encouraged.

    2. Thanks and thanks to God for those reminders. And I will add that it can get a bit dicey when we get those "days on end" severe systems. The crew gets pretty sluggish, even to the point of saying they'll take their chances with the storm. I just grab the little one and go. It's all a big adventure to him anyway. I give him a sharpie and let him write a prayer on the concrete wall. It usually isn't too long before the others are scrambling to get in there with us. Bless you and your family so very much.

  9. Caution is warranted. I too am very surprised by the lack of events on 9/23. My studies and personal interaction with GOD all pointed to that date and time. We must remember however, that the disciples walked and talked with Christ 3 years and still did not get it, lkely we won't either. Study the scriptures? Of coarse, but slowing down and reflecting may prove more beneficial right now to get our footing. HE is coming of that I have no doubt. We need to keep in focus that HIS ways are above our ways. That is why faith is required. You guys are awesome, I'm proud of all of you.

    1. Wise words.... how many of us have let our time alone with Him slip a bit with all the energy we have put into watching the signs? This is a hard balance to watch, but an essential one...

      Delete
    2. The mettle of our faith is being revealed to us everyone. This was never about dates, always about the season and our faithful obedience to His Word to watch during that season. We look at dates because events occur on dates, but it's not about the dates. After Yom Teruah, it came to my mind that we'd missed the principle of three... the divine number of completion and manifestation. That the three moedim are a single group for us. I have seen His Ekklesia more focused on His moedim like never before... I, myself, have been watching the Kotel in Jerusalem for nearly two weeks straight and entering into their celebration and devotion... amazing and wonderful... we have, in an important way, never been more spiritually united with His Covenant People than this year. Beloved, it's always been about the Jews and God's promise to His Covenant People... we have merely been grafted into the Vine as we all know... it's not about us. This is the time when our "walking barefoot" as I call it - humble and meek - is revealed to us and to all around us. Will we stand firm regardless of circumstance? Did anyone notice that Yom Kippur came with no MSM indictments about "the end of the world speculations"? It seems that after Yom Teruah, we, the watchers were dismissed... I know I was the brunt of jokes and derision... perfectly fine and expected. Those folks are entrenched and were before 23 September, even. At Yom Kippur, there have been those who hung on because of the rationality of that date (which absolutely was there)... but now, we have pretty much lost those who are thinking dates at all and now our faith - do we trust Him at His Word - is revealing our ever so subtle leaning towards dates ourselves. I hear the words, 'confusion' and 'tired' and I know that it is a wonderful thing He has done for us... He is allowing us to come to grips with our true heart before Him. We had discussions here at Church in August about what it would be like to be harpazoed. Surprise/shock was the most prominent description. I told them, no... we would not be surprised, because the personality of our Lord is not like that. I told them then, as I still do, that when we are 'kidnapped' it will be a joy and a relief... like arriving home after a long time away from home... we are not shocked and surprised that we are home, but relieved and full of joy. The hangers-on (unwise virgins?) are in a way gone - set in their ways for the most part at this point - and now it's us and our faith. May I end with this... Daniel Chapter 10... third year of Cyrus, he mourned for three weeks, etc.; then the Angel appeared after having been delayed fighting in the heavenly realm. Daniel stood firm even when he had no strength left. If Daniel is a type for the Ekklesia - he's seized out of the pit of lions and not there at the furnace episode remember - then let us all stand firm, pray, and eagerly - devotedly - await His promised return for us which is now at-hand.

    3. Sterling C - Amen! A joy and a relief indeed!
I am reminded of John 3:13, “No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven - the Son of Man.” In Yeshua we are restored to the image of God, and will return to heaven for 7 years (during the Tribulation on earth) enthroned as “the court” sitting on the “thrones” in Dan. 7:10,26 & 7:9, respectively.
Regarding the foolish virgins, I sensed that, for the most part, they were separated out after the harpazo did not occur when the great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven Sept. 23-24. I believe that only the wise virgins with a sufficient supply of oil - (such as those here who are truly searching out the Scriptures regarding these blessed fall appointments with the Lover of our souls) - are persevering as our Bridegroom tarries. Ahhh, God is soooo good, wanting that no man would perish! Our testimonies in these last hours help some enter into His rest now. I believe our last minute testimonies now will ALSO be a blessing to those who will have to experience the Tribulation before finally dying to self and entering in as part of the great multitude of Rev. 7:9-17...

  10. I implied this above in a reply and will say it here. I think we are losing focus and credibikity if we focus too much on guessing when the Rapture might occur.I am trying to Share that since all of the recent disasters, threats of nuclear war, etc have made me and many others more anxious, the solution for me has been to pray more and then i ask others, " How are you coping?" This plants a seed and can lead to more candid conversations. Obviously, some are more open to considering prayer as an option than others you are planting the seed of hope which they might think about later even if they don't want to talk about it now.

  11. I've always been a pre-tribute believer, even when I've had post and pre-wrath pastors. I've always thought Daniel's 70th week necessitated a removal of the Church in order to deal with Israel. Plus, I simply didn't care to see the wickedness and horrors of the Tribulation. No comfort there.

At what point should pre-tribbers start considering that model to be possibly incorrect? I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm a pre-tribber asking fellow pre-tribbers. I've been watching for decades, and things seem so primed, yet nothing...I haven't read the articles yet maybe they'll shed some light...

    2. CD, I understand your thinking, yet I keep coming back ( and I've mentioned this elsewhere) to the problem of who would be around to repopulate the earth after the tribulation. If all the Christ followers are taken up in the middle, or the end, and no more come to Christ after that, and all God's enemies from that time period are then demolished, who is supposed to stay here and repopulate? We won't be able to in our new bodies. Those that took the mark would be killed. The ones left would be those who did not accept Christ nor take the mark but managed to survive through God's wrath. Are those rebels those whom God will popluate the earth through? That makes no sense to me. It is those who survive the tribulation by God's protection, who are His, whom I believe He will use to repopulate the earth. Same applies to post-trib thinking. Does this make sense?

      Delete
    3. For me, I think the time to reconsider pre-trib is if we see the convenant confirmed, see the seals released, and can identify the antichrist. Then I will reconsider and get a good calendar!

  12. I'm disappointed we're still here but I know I shouldn't be. I had prayed for confirmation a few days ago but didn't get it. Instead I got Ezekiel 39 and Psalm 108. Ezekiel 39 is the Gog/Magog war where many nations will fight Israel, and Israel will win and use their weapons as fuel for 7 years. I think Psalm 108 is about the enemies surrounding Israel. It seems Ezekiel 39 is the more important one as I remember reminding myself over and over about it in my sleep. Maybe this war has to happen before the rapture?

    1. Dear Liz I don't think Eze39 to happen before rapture but at the Second Coming of Christ after tribulation (see the winepress / great wedding supper analogy in v.17). Israel is being persecuted and not victorious in tribulation during 7 years and they are not burying people but only after tribulation. Probably this will be when millennium starts or some time in between. In my opinion there's nothing about these "famous" Ezechiel chapter 38/39 to happen right now but these are the big two end battles of Armageddon and after millennium described (Israel in full peace in chpt. 39). The Spirit of the church is yet withholding WW3 and then the 1st horseman on white horse will bring short "world peace" Rev6:2. Probably because so many people missing after rapture. Just my 2 cents... Blessings!

    2. I just finished the article and I think they make a very good case for Sukkot being the rapture and start of the tribulation.

On Oct. 5 and 6th, Venus and Mars will be in conjunction in the constellation Leo. Venus is "the Bright and Morning Star" and Mars represents war or bloodshed. A sign of God's coming judgement.

      Sukkot starts On Oct. 5.

From the article: "Along with the prophets Habakkuk and Haggai, we also see two other prophets that point to judgement taking place sometime during a Sukkot. Both Jeremiah and Hosea give us a clue that needs to be noted. Though the clues are obvious to a Hebrew, they may not be so evident to others."

And don't forget the Blood Moons appeared on Passover and Sukkot. The first and last Feasts, the Alpha and Omega!

This article is a Must Read in my opinion!!

    3. Thank you Lauren Ruth, indeed very compelling! This fits again with #2 article above and TABERNACLES being the 4th (middle) candle in the Menorah in order of events. The 'TENT' idea also corresponds with Pauls expressions in 2 Corinthians 5:1-4 (see what he talks about just at the end of chp. 4 = resurrection and eternity!). After all, I also have read and heard a lot about the "dragon" (Planet X system) of Rev12:3-4 approaching perihelion until mid-October so we have to consider this as well as the trouble around Israel (airstrikes Syria, peace talks Trump-Abbas etc.) mentioned in Rev12:2 which are our KEY EVENTS to consider before rapture in verse 5! I do firmly believe with Barry Scarbrough that we will be outta here before November. Time will tell, come LORD Jesus! :))

  14. I wanted to share this link (for other believers) to research and consider. I am not date setting (just bible research). The full moon calendar is interesting, to say the least, and also has a section with commentary on the revelation 12 sign. Taking all things into consideration I am in agreement that we are the generation in the 'end times'. I have even noticed many additional convergences, including pastors, co-workers, that don't know about the Revelation 12 Sign that feel we are in the 'end times'. The separation of evil (darkness, death, hate) vs. good (light, life, love) in day to day news and activities is really astonishing.
I work with a co-worker that is messianic (with more focus on the Torah/law) that follows the full moon calendar (instead of the crescent moon). I personally have not been doing Sabbath based on the this (full moon) calendar but have acknowledged that this very well may be the calendar the Father-Son follows (or the Father Son may be on the gentile calendar, jewish calendar, it's really entirely up to Him in His holy righteous sovereignty). In fact, many times I have to ask for forgiveness for not following Sabbath rest (my focus on working for six days and actively resting on the 7th vs. focusing on full moon vs. crescent calendars).
    http://www.thecreatorscalendar.com/newcomers-guide-to-astro-luni-solar-concepts/
I believe that the Father and Jesus will use the proper calendar once we are in heaven/eternity (the Sabbath calendar restored without sin or blemish). With numerous 2017 convergences, astonishing world wide events, we should ask ourselves is the rapture biblical? I believe yes. Is the tribulation biblical? I believe yes. Is His return biblical? I believe yes. Do we believe that His return is this year 2017? I believe yes. (I am not a prophet, I don't know with 100% certainty, I just believe by faith, if not 2017 I wait on Him and strive to humble myself and practice righteousness because of my love for Him) Does the earth with it's believers and nonbelievers continue in its present state for the next 10 years, 20 years, 30 years or longer? I believe no. (just like Noah, just like Sodom, His pattern will repeat again and I believe sooner due to the convergence of all general timelines, current news, weather extremes, etc). Did the Revelation 12 Sign happen? I believe yes.
All this being said, I really feel that I have changed for the better because of the Revelation 12 Sign and my online believing you tuber, rev 12, unsealed friends, and family. =-) If you feel that you have changed for the better because of the Revelation 12 Sign feel free to reply and post your thoughts ~ Numbers 6:24 24 “The LORD bless you and keep you; 25 the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26 the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

    4. "I’m disappointed and disillusioned. How long do we keep grasping at straws?"

That's it...I can't take it anymore. S.M., you just succinctly expressed what a lot of people are thinking and feeling these days, and what I have to say is probably not what you want to hear. In fact, it is likely to provoke an angry response because I am sure you are not in the mood to hear this. But here goes:

You keep grasping at straws as long as you keep grasping at straws.

I know that's terribly profound, but there it is. The Bible tells us to watch and wait patiently for the Lord's return--it does NOT tell us to grasp at straws.

Do you now *why* we are not to grasp at straws? Because the Lord told us quite plainly the timing of these things is not for us to figure out--they are His to reveal, and no Internet guru on the planet can change that, no matter how many thousands of followers they have.

People who sensationalize dates for the Rapture are acting contrary to God's Word, and for the people who follow them and grasp at their straws, disappointment and disillusionment invariably follow. Why would you expect otherwise?

Reasonable, scripturally grounded speculation is one thing; but when we let someone's speculative sensationalizing of a date induce us to desperately grasp at straws, something is bad wrong.

I know no one ever wants to hear my advice, but that seldom stops me from giving it:

Watch and wait patiently for the Lord.

      And stop grasping at straws.

    5. I found that video very compelling. Like he said, nothing so far has been disproven or unbiblical. God keeps showing us the next thing. Maybe we don't need to look for a certain day, but it helps clear up the confusion as to why things might not have happened yet with the rapture. Christ's love to each of you.

There has always been one motivation and that has been to watch as we see the day approaching. And for me...I will continue to watch the amazing picture unfold in His Time.
No one has sold for profit or claimed to be a prophet....it's been line upon line as Yahweh's been revealing His Blessed Hope.

So I will be patience and watch as He Reveals.

    7. We should never grasp at straws...and I hope people don't feel that way. The problem is what is considered grasping at straws changes from person to person... Many otherwise intelligent people considered the Rev12 Sign "grasping at straws". Those of us who actually looked into it were blown away by the extensive Biblical connections. I believe the Jubilee Connection had many other interesting connections that was atleast worth looking into and being aware of. I would suspect that the same pattern may develop for Tabernacles. We are driving down a foggy road.... we have the white lines of Scripture to keep us centered. We just saw a GIGANTIC road sign telling us we are heading in the right direction... so keep moving forward. The fog will lift at a moment we least suspect.

    8. Seriously, how much longer can this corrupt world continue? I've been a believer for 30 years this November. This world has gotten exponentially more wicked in the past 3-5 than the previous 20. The occult is no longer hidden. We have signs, take them as they are meant, as warning for the lost and encouragement for the found. Just a few more miles, then a few more steps, a few more breaths then we're home, we're safe. We are more than conquerors, dear brethren.

    9. "Greg L....work in patience in place of scorn....and....find a fellowship with those you can bless and be at peace with. You seem agitated."

No scorn here...really. Sorry if I put anyone off, but to be honest I am a bit agitated at what I am seeing from so many people right now. It's just that what S.M. said finally tripped my trigger. I'm not upset at S.M., it's just that S.M. so succinctly encapsulated what many thousands of people are thinking and feeling right now.

My point is just that there is no reason whatsoever for any of us to feel disappointed and disillusioned right now, or to feel we are merely grasping at straws. If someone feels they are grasping at straws, that tells me they are pinning their hopes to a certain day based on someone's theorizing when God has revealed no such thing.

THAT'S what I want to encourage people to not do, because what kind of witness is that to the lost? What kind of message does that send to those who need Christ? Many people today treat Bible prophecy as if it were a simulation game, where you pick and choose the theory that appeals to you the most, hedge your bets with disclaimers, and score points for being righter than the other guys and lose points when your date passes. It dishonors God and brings disrepute to the name that is above every name.

All I'm saying is maybe we should exercise some patience and restraint and let the Father reveal what He will reveal without turning it into a game of Prophecy Roulette. Maybe then we could focus more on what we should be focusing on.

    10. Imagine Spurgeon and Calvin being plucked out of their respective time then dropped into 1930. If you asked them if their view of eschatology has changed...They might say, you had a really big war and you fly in the sky and drive over land.
Other than that...things pretty much would be the same to them.
      Then, drop them into 1950
They would be blown away! They would not be able to imagine ISRAEL back in the Land or the Jews speaking Hebrew...they have long been convinced Israel would be destroyed and replaced by a Gentile substitute. Their eschatology would have taken a paradigm shift, and that would of Blown their minds.
Now, drop them into Today....they would drop to their knees and LOOK UP!
Here we are....something ,out of the hands of man, is happening and we must have eye's to see. Here is the patience of Yeshua. Watching and sharing in Love.
      Be encouraged Greg L.
We that see the movement of the Ruach, or any one else living in This Day, have never rode a pony like this one. We all are adjusting as we drop to our knees and LOOK UP...how we embrace this moment, towards each other, is with grace.... Their is no time to be snarky, we bless and send Shalom. This I think in the bravery we need.

    11. I have to agree about the 'grasping at straw'. To me, that's what I see people doing. They move from one date to another in quick session, quick to abandon their 'proofs' and arguments regarding all the previous dates and present new arguments for the next one, like a desperate gambler placing one more bet in hope to recoup all the previous losses.

All the theories put out so far are based on numerous assumptions. We assumed the rapture must happen on a feast day based on someone's theory. It may be a compelling theory but it is still an assumption. The assumption gradually became a "truth". We forgot that the whole bunch of theories out there right now would not stand if we remove this one assumption. At this point, instead of re-examining all the assumptions that have been made so far, what I see is people making MORE assumptions to build their next case.

The whole Sep 23 cum Rapture debacle has been a humbling one. It just shows me one thing : we do not know. We know a lot less than we think.

    12. I think Greg L. is right. I appreciate his wisdom.

When I learned about 9/23 and Rev 12 I was convinced it meant the rapture was near. But, 9/21 came and went. As did 9/23, and 9/24, and 9/30, and 10/1. Every date that has been set has been wrong. All of the complex formulas failed. It was a good theory, but it didn't pan out. I was definitely wrong.

What evidence do we have that Rev 12:1-2 was fulled on 9/23? Yes, there was a pattern of stars in the sky that matched Rev 12, but that doesn't mean the theory is right. You can't say "The 9/23 night sky matches Rev 12, so therefore it fulfills Rev 12, and therefore my interpretation is correct." That is just assuming the theory is true and using that to prove the theory. It's circular.

Jesus did tell us to watch - and every single one of those "watches" is a reference to watching for His return at the end of the Tribulation. Paul did say that day would not overtake us as a thief - but "that day" was the Tribulation. It won't take us as a thief because we won't be around for it. When Rev 3 says to be watchful, it is speaking about our works - not watching for the rapture.

When Paul speaks of the rapture he never tells us to watch for it. Instead he says to comfort one another with it. 1 John 2:28 tells us that if we abide in Him, we will not be ashamed at His coming. It doesn't say we'll know the day or the year. God could easily have said "You need to figure out the date", but He didn't. Paul could have given a few sentences on how to be good rapture-watchers, but he never did. No Biblical character ever tried to do this - not even the apostles - and I don't think that's an accident.

I think, by trying to guess the date, we have taken upon ourselves an impossible task - one that breeds endless frustration and even anger.

    13. Jonathan... In response to your statement:

I was reprimanded by Greg L. once for saying that the Rev12 Sign would "likely" be fulfilled on 9/23.... He said "what's likely about it?" So to me and Greg, the question isn't (was this the Rev12 Sign). The question is timing and meaning. The sign was clear. Don't go so far backwards denying the obvious... but it is good to question our theories... we should always do that. We are fallible... but to use Greg's famous words.... The Sky Don't Lie.

    14. Guys, seriously... ;) Imagine there's somebody who believes in "continuous imminency" of Christ i.e. everyday-parousia now for a long time. Well. Biblical or not. But we count days as "dates" i.e. let's say 3rd March or 28th October. So, if we use simple logic this person now actually is a daily (!) "date-setter" ever since. My apologies but honestly watching for Jesus doesn't work otherwise than "setting dates" because in fact every single DAY we do expect Him now is a specific "date" if you will. We shouldn't therefore point fingers on those who are "watching dates" as every single day is now a true candidate for someone believing in imminency. And we all know THIS is the SEASON of REAL imminency. On a daily basis. Such as the true meaning of the word "MARANATHA" is (look it up for yourself). Blessings to you!

  16. Is anyone else feeling deep grief for those who will be left behind to suffer through the tribulation? I do pray for those who are unbelievers to come to repentance before the age of grace ends and I pray for those who will be left behind that they too would realize their need for God and Jesus and that they would not fall for the delusion or harden their hearts. (I am mostly homebound, so prayer is my main way to serve God.) But the grief is just so heavy at times....anyone else?

    3. VS, I have had that burden for quite a while now and it has increased greatly within the last six months or so - for those who are not saved as well as for "church goers" who will be left behind. Sometimes the sorrow is quite heavy, and when I see what's going on in the world now and knowing that it's going to get unimaginably worse, well, prayer is the only option for me to be able to deal with it.

    4. Yes VS, I too go through periods of grief(for lack of a better word) about potentially lost family members and others who have not realized the truth of Christ's salvation and the possibility that he may return for his bride before they have accepted HIS invitation. These feelings are a rather recent phenomena in my life, no health reasons for it. I just sense that we are getting close to the return of Jesus. Maybe tomorrow, but I believe could be up to 15-20 more years. I am watching intently for a "fake news" peace treaty between Israel and her enemies and also events involving Jerusalem. I must admit that I feel a lot of guilt for sometimes being borderline depressed about these things. Praying in the spirit, memorizing scripture, and offering the "sacrifice of praise" helps to keep me hopeful when I get this way. I have recently memorized Romans chapter 8 and I am reminded that.... "We are saved by hope, but hope that is seen is NOT hope, for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for , but IF we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it." Romans 8:25-26. Christ is the intercessor of our prayers and I lay hold of hope that my prayers for loved ones and the lost will be answered. Rom 8:26-27,34

I just found this site a few weeks ago and I have to admit that I do not fully understand how a few folks don't seem grasp the fact that when the rapture occurs and the tribulation period begins many people will likely be lost in their sins for eternity, still born solely of the first man Adam, without the rebirth provided by the last Adam Jesus Christ. Multitudes will be deceived by the wicked one. Strong delusion will pervade every aspect of their lives, It will be an uphill battle for people to be saved during the tribulation period, but IF God's predestined plan is to be fulfilled who can be against him?

I am somewhat comforted by the fact that John tells us in Rev 20:4 "and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

The everlasting gospel will be preached by men, angels, and the two witnesses(as I understand it) during the "tribulation" period, but it seems that many will be required to sacrifice their lives in order to take part in the first resurrection prior to the 1000 year reign. Also in Rev 7: 9,14 there is mention of a "great multitude which no man could number" which verse 14 says "came out of great tribulation". So I am heartened that God will be reaping an incredible harvest of souls during this time. Lets keep our loved ones and the lost before our intercessor Jesus "who is even at the right hand of God" and have faith in Him.

VS...I appreciate your honesty and pray that we can both be more hopeful going forward and trust more fully in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Blessing to all in this wonderful community of believers!

  17. I just watched Nora's link above and it turns out the barley harvest is a big deal. Waaaay down in one of the comments in that video is a comment from Dan Goodwin who's written a book about the barley harvest and has done several interviews about it as well as God's final jubilee. Now I don't know what people on this board think about Dan Goodwin but I've watched some of his interviews and I don't see anything amiss. It's really looking more and more, brothers and sisters, that we're completely off of God's real calendar.

  18. Fellow watchers,

We waited expectantly on 23rd. We weren't raptured, but one undeniable event happened, the celestial birth took place. A two thousand year old prophecy took place with precision and that would make any doubters to rethink and reconsider their stand.

Day of Atonement came, we weren't raptured. But it has several layers of unique and continuing 'coincidences'. Example, how fitting is the Lev 12 ritual from Sept 23 up to Sept 30 purification. The 7 days 'as in the days of Noah' advance notice to go inside the ark. The culmination of the 40 days Eclipse warning. So many layers that we can defend using passages. However, we are still here.

For several weeks, I didn't login on my social media, no FB, I posted once in over 20 days. I am active and always use it because I use it for my business. When September came I decided to step away and just study bible prophecies. Up until Oct 1, hours before the sunset (Israel Local Time), I felt convicted by GOD and said to me " the hour will close for the day to end, and you haven't told anyone about me". Honestly, for days I was struggling, wrestling with the LORD because years before Sept 23, I was telling people about His return. The urgency of my posts and messages points to His return. I also said my disclaimer 'Nobody knows the day or hour'. But The evidence so compelling. The 'coincidence' are beyond comprehension. THIS IS IT. THIS IS THE DAY.The timing seems right. Was I disappointed? Oh yes, absolutely. Was I discouraged? Yes, but it was brief. Did I receive the mockers? YES. That is why after Sept 23, I didn't use my FB to post but to message friends and fellow watchers who I need to encourage.

Yesterday, as the hours dwindle away to end Yom Kippur in Jerusalem, God was convicting me and speaking to me " Ryan, the day will end, and you didn't shared anything about me. What If I come back today, you lost your chance to share the Gospel". The familiar verses of 2 Peter 3-9 rings and reminded me that God is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, despite of the mockers and scoffers.

Today, some of us might think that nothing huge happened from Sept 23 till Oct 1, we are wrong. Matthew 24:7 became real for two new 'Kingdoms'. The Kurdistan and Catalonia. Kurds are wanting independence and their border affects Turkey, Iraq , Syria and Iran. While the Catalonia is pushed thru their referendum despite the violence.

I'm excited for His return, was disappointed too. But the greater reason for this humanly perceived day is still the proof of God's love. That people to come into His presence.

Time is shorter than ever. Maranatha.

  20. I just watched Jerry Toney’s video: it seems there is compelling reason that we have been operating on a different calendar/day. Rosh Hashanah, according to the Biblical calendar, has been pushed forward one month this year because of the barley harvest being not harvest-ready and so this year has become a leap year (13 month lunar year instead of 12 month)... watch Jerry’s video here: https://youtu.be/h32TOHhUyB8

  23. We have seen the Great Sign in the Heavens and now we are experiencing the Great Wait on earth. We know that the Lord is right on time and one possibility is that we are in a Jewish leap year where we add a month, pushing the date of the fall festivals into October of 2017. The month, Adar l, is an added month in the Jewish leap year. This year is a shanah meuberet (lit., “a pregnant year”), more commonly known as a leap year, on the Jewish calendar. (http://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/526875/jewish/The-Jewish-Year.htm) Pray for lost souls to come to Christ and encourage one another as we wait for the appearance of our Blessed Hope. Come Maranatha Come!

2 Peter 3: 3Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, 4and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” 5For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. 8But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 9The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Jesus was born on 15 Ethanim (Tishrei is the Babylonian/Akkadian version) and Circumcised in accordance with the Covenant He wrote for Abraham's descendants and Jewish Law on the 8th Day of Tabernacles on 22 Ethanim. Jesus became the 8th Covenant between God and Man (hence the 8th Day) and New Covenant Tabernacle, 9 months after His conception on Hanukkah "Feast of Dedication"; Mary in effect was dedicated as the New Covenant Temple during this period while Jesus was in the womb.

  25. Last year, 5776 on the Hebrew calendar, was a leap year and the final year in the 19 year cycle of leap years. That is why Rosh HaShanna landed in October last year. If you are trying to say that Rosh HaShanna wasn't really on the 21st of September this year and that it should be falling a month later in Octorber you are absolutely, 100% wrong. Rosh HaShanna always falls on the first of Tishri on the Hebrew calendar. That means it could fall in September or October on the Julian calendar, but wherever it falls, that is the correct date for the festival. You have to stop reckoning things by the Julian calendar and guessing that this year might be this or that. Speculation is never a part of God's plan.

  26. God's New Year is 1 Abib; Tishrei is the Babylonian-Akkadian "Beginning". 1 Abib is the Anniversary of Creation; Noah uncovering the Ark and stepping onto Dry Land (Gen 8:13); Moses instructing Israel to put Lamb's Blood on the doorposts before the Exodus (Ex 12:2); Jesus telling His disciples He would offer Himself as the Passover Lamb (Mk 9:31) and will be the 120th Jubilee Trumpet heard around the world as required of the New Moon Jubilee Trumpet at the moment Creation is 6000 Years old.
BTW Linda, God put the Sun, Moon and Stars in the sky for us to tell Time 1656 Years Creation to Flood + 2160 Years Aries-Pisces + 2160 Years Pisces to Aquarius=5976 Years. There was quite likely 21 Years from the time the Flood ended 1 Abib with the Spring Equinox Sun and New Moon rising in Taurus until Aries began (Epic of Gilgamesh is the Babylonian-Akkadian Flood version); this the likely date Sargon the Great was pronounced "Legitimate King". All this brings us to the start of the Great Tribulation (Rev 12:6) at 5997 Years. Just a word of caution when using Rabbinical Calendars. God's works far better.
