Can't Miss Article filled with Hope

Hillary at Unsealed put up another fantastic article a few days ago which I was finally able to finish reading this morning.  In it she covers a lot of ground in order to help us stay awake and stay expectant.  I highly recommend reading it if you haven't yet, as well as the additional link below which highlights the same piece... a article that fulfills its mission of bringing hope and deepening out trust in Him..  Thanks Hillary, fantastic work... I can't imagine the amount of time you took to put that together so beautifully.

    1. I just wanted to share another compelling video about a possible Halloween rapture at "an hour you think NOT" that made me really think (together with Daniel Matsons Noahic timeline on watchfortheday.org): Wouldn't this be most ironic?? The most unlikely time for Jesus' return LOL! :)) Blessings to the body!

(had to delete the first one as I copied and passed the wrong URL)

    2. ha, had to listen to it without watching the youtube clip as all the moving around started making me motion sick lol. Greg put out an article (unsealed) that had a basic covering off the 30/31 timeframe as well, which is great, but the background was really interesting (if not a little disturbing:/).

  2. Funny, I am not 'into' 'poetic' writings per se, however I admit I wish I had Hillary's same level of yearning for Jesus return...however I am loathe to say that out too loud, in case Jesus puts into place outcomes that will 'help' me desire to see him more, if you know what I mean:/

    Come!
This blessed me. Straight from the Hebrew interlinear.

  5. I was re-reading Hillary's article just now, and one statement really struck me:

"We may not know exactly when Jesus will descend from heaven with a shout (1 Thess. 4:15-17), but we know these are the last days. (Luke 21:28, 2 Tim. 3:1-5, 1 Tim. 4:1-2, Heb. 1:1-2)."

It reminded me of 1 John 2:18, which I looked up in several translations:

"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." (KJV)

"Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour." (ESV)

"Children, it is the last hour [the end of this age]; and just as you heard that the antichrist is coming [the one who will oppose Christ and attempt to replace Him], even now many antichrists (false teachers) have appeared, which confirms our belief that it is the last hour." (AMP)

Then, reflecting on the fact that the Apostle John wrote that 1900-some years ago, I couldn't help but think, Could we be way off, date-wise, like John apparently was? And what if we are? What if, for example, the Hebrew year 5778 is correct and we have to make it all the way to 6000 (or 5993, if we allow for 7 tribulation years at the end of this age) to complete the 6000 years of human history that are supposed to precede the 1000-year Kingdom age?

Fortunately, Hillary answered my questions in the very next sentence:

"They are also beautiful days that the Lord hath made, and let us be glad and rejoice in them." And, I might add, occupy, engage in business, and invest (Luke 19:13, KJV, ESV, TLB, respectively). Not a time to be idle (Matthew 20:6), but rather to provoke, stir up, and thoughtfully encourage one another to love and good works and deeds (Hebrews 10:24 KJV+ESV+AMP).

    Maranatha, friends!

    1. Hi, DJ, I would say here, that John writes in this epistle not only about our last time (or last hour), but also about his time. He was the very last living Apostle, and saw already many antichrists (false teachers), and appeals to his disciples ("My little children" - 1John 2:1, KJV), teaching them to defend themselves against false teachings and false teachers, which came in the last days of Apostle's Age (I think so). Many Bible prophecies have dual performance. And the Antichrist shall come (future), but many antichrists were alredy there.
Thanks for your thoughts, I study now this Passage. And we are here, in the last days, really! As Hillary writes in this passage. I check carefully the Scriptures in her wonderful article! Blessings, Maranatha!

    2. Wow, Alla D, thank you for that insight. The way you put that, John was a 'type' of US!!! WOW! Can I Say WOW again?! Think about it! You are the last living Apostle and there is reason to believe all or most of them thought HE would return in THEIR Lives, (Don't wanna bunny trail that detail) but HASNT YET and, looking at your own end and preparing them, your spiritual children, HIS spiritual children, for the clear uncertainties ahead and....

Rethink EVERYTHING you know about everything John tells us, as being written from the mindset like WE have as watchers, long on our posts, certain we hear, just up the road, and yet, and yet....

      wow, Maranatha!

    3. Hi Jimboni! True indeed! I will rethink! It seems that the Lord reveals to us more, and more deeply, before this Day! As Hillary says, let us rejoice every new day! Thank you too! Blessings and Maranatha!

    4. DJ, Alla, Jimboni....I've been so blessed reading your conversation here.

"Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." 1 For 13: 8-10

Thank you for longing, watching & rejoicing with me everyday as we wait for the DAY! :)

    5. It seems to me that much of the "more sure word of prophecy" (2 peter 1:19) was intentionally obscure because it was not intended so much to PREDICT but to CONFIRM (after the fact). This was necessary so the "princes of this world," who desire to look into such things (1 Peter 1:12) wouldn't mess up God's plan (1 Corinthians 2:8). So some prophecies were temporarily sealed (Daniel 12:4; Revelation 10:4), while others were not (Revelation 22:10). The trick, of course, is knowing which is which, so we don't waste time trying to solve puzzles that can't (yet) be solved.

Case in point: Genesis 1 with 2 Peter 3:8 apparently tell us that time between Creation to the New Creation is 7000 years (and since Revelation 20:4 says the Kingdom is a 1000-year period), Creation to the Kingdom is 6000 years. In my mind, this is the simplest and least obscure of all end-time prophecies. If only we knew what year it really is!

  6. I saw Hillary's article as a wonderfully polished expression of poetry and prose, angst, hope and Scripture all melded into a Psalm-like song of degrees. Beautifully written to mirror the heart of those for whom the one goal has been to get home to our Savior from the first moment of our meeting Him, whether that be a few months or 70 years.

At this point, for me, I am in no way willing to settle back into that "no one can know" doctrine. He is telling us in every way that now is the time and we haven't even made it 40 days from the Rev.12 sign. The separation/circumcision from the things of this world has already been accomplished in my heart and the physical is close on it. Based on the current conditions of this world in all areas and the things the Lord has shared with me personally and with so many others over the past few months regarding this season, I know we are truly about to go home. I am not even able to realistically plan next week and can only take things on a moment by moment basis. It all feels too much like a vapor. Blessings and Maranatha!

    2. Hi Alla. I absolutely agree with you on the duality of the prophetic Word. In His amazing perfection, the LORD allowed every Christian down thru time the luxury of the Blessed Hope without ever compromising one jot or tittle of truth.

DJ, you might find a video titled "Truth be told..." at Revelation Research JRR Ministries YTC to be interesting regarding what year we may actually be in, Biblically speaking, esp. since you mentioned 5993. Is the calendar off? I'm sure it is and for more reasons than one errant barley harvest call.
Annabel referenced an article on the prior thread that was unfortunately above my pay grade to totally comprehend, but it did reveal a Jubilee system that for the average person, might have been very easy to lose track of in their daily struggles for survival.
All good informational food for thought, but as I said above, all we've really got to do is look around us right now at the state of events and knowing the Scriptures, we'll know exactly what season we are in. Blessings and Maranatha!

  7. Sheila B says, DJ, you might find a video titled "Truth be told..." at Revelation Research JRR Ministries YTC to be interesting regarding what year we may actually be in, Biblically speaking...

DJ replies, Thanks, but Goodness! Why can't these folks write papers instead of making videos? What would take 2 minutes to read takes 20 minutes to watch. And the video format makes it impossible to copy and paste pertinent quotes into a post like this one. Very inconvenient. They even admit this; they warn us up front, saying, "Do not bother watching this video if you don't have a pen and paper. You will have a huge amount of notes to take." But enough about that. End of rant.

I WAS able to copy and paste the title of the video:

"The Truth Be Told...70th Week Starts on November 3rd, 2017".

My problem is that these same folks posted an earlier video entitled:

"The Rapture can't occur until on or after January 20 2018".

So... not just inconvenient, but confusing.

Let's consider a similar article in a more convenient format:

    http://www.cogwriter.com/six_thousand_year_plan_6000.htm

Those folks conclude (way near the bottom):

"Jesus is coming a second time (Hebrews 9:28), but cannot return prior to 2023.... Based upon the best chronologies that humans seem to have been able to construct, it appears likely that Jesus may return by the end of the next decade, or perhaps a few years past."

My questions, however, are more general, and are these: I can understand why Christians living today might think the end of he Church Age is near, but why would first-century Christians think any such thing? Surely, after reading 2 Peter 3:8 (with Genesis 1 in mind) they should have known the Church Age was going to be a long one. Did they know? If so, why did they write things, like 1 John 2:18, as if they didn't know?

    1. DJ good question. Honestly I don't know. They should have even known from Jesus' own words in Luke 19:12 ("FAR country" = long journey!) answering to the disciples' thoughts of the verse 11 prior ("they thought that the kingdom of God should *immediately* appear"). I think that will ever be Gods secret how to install permanent imminency throughout scriptures without in fact teaching it. You can read the same text for thousands of years over and over again, it can be right under your nose how to interpret it right but the real sense does not reveal itself if not Gods Spirit opens up the true meaning to you. For us as limited human beings history (which is in fact fulfilled prophecy) can only be validated in retrospective, never in advance. Much blessings to you! :)

    2. DJ, LOL...I know what you mean about pen and paper. I had never even watched a YouTube video of any kind until this past year. Just the Bible, commentaries, books and newspapers. I'm a fast reader and a slow watcher. It can get frustrating and yes, I realize the contradictory nature of a lot of sites. Perhaps some of that is due to evolving info but it is interesting to look at and ponder views new to me. I do believe the truth is only the Lord, Himself, knows exactly what day, month, or even year it really is. Thus the importance of the signs/markers that He has revealed to us through His Word and His heavens, especially those pertaining to Israel. That's the only way we can recognize the season we are now in.

As for early Christians, I'm not sure how much access they had to Scripture as a whole compared to later Christians, but their persecutions were severe and their faith and hope was what they clung to as they were admonished to comfort one another with the words of
Yeshua through the Apostles. Like Annabel said, the secret things of the Lord are His. I just believe they were given whatever it was they needed for their time just as we've been given what is needed for this time. The letters to the 7 Churches, as I read them, are an awesome picture of How He's had, has and will have us covered from one end the spectrum to the other. Maranatha!

Occupy till He comes, friends. We will all meet Him face to face soon enough (one way or another). May He find each of us diligently minding our assigned posts. Maranatha!

  8. We're so blessed to have this forum to post on and I wanted to say thank you to everyone and especially Brad for his dedication to this work. I'm getting very excited about Oct 30/31 as I have looked into the barley harvest and found that if an extra month is added to a year it is called 'Shanah Meuberet' or "Pregnant Year". How amazing is that name given Virgo was pregnant with Jupitier at the time?

With this particular article, and each one I prepare, I genuinely consider: what if this is the last one I ever write? What does the Lord want me to say? What will I have wanted to say? I really appreciate your kindness and all that you share with your readers. God bless you! He is coming SOON! :)

  10. Thanks Hillary. I am so grateful for this great sign from God which connected so many of us. I cannot wait for the rest of His plan to be revealed to our little group of watchful and expectant believers... I have this sense that things will ramp up rather quickly at some point in which we will understand all that He has honed us for regarding our role in this harvest.... Thank you for all you have done... The light of Christ shine brightly in your words and attitude. : )
