Finding The Golden "Rev12 Sign" Ticket!

Every now and then a visual really captures my emotions in a way words can't. Today I was browsing though a Facebook group about the Revelation 12 Sign and a fellow brother in Christ had shared the most heartwarming and relatable image (Thanks Ken). It was a picture from the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie showing the exact moment when Charlie found the last "Golden Ticket".  Above it were the following words.....

To me this visual was perfect.  This IS how I felt that moment I first discovered this sign and learned about it's strong connection to the rapture!  How many of us Christian's feel a little down and out at times like poor Charlie?  How many of us have been waiting and waiting for a big break, waiting and waiting for the Lord to return? At times this seems too good to be true...  But this sign, this "Golden Ticket" so to speak... well it appeared in each of our lives as real as the stars above our heads... and now it is closer than ever!
And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matt 18:3-4
So now we wait.  We wait and hope and dream... asking ourselves if this all could really be happening.  We search the scriptures, search our hearts and share the good news with more urgency than ever.  Our prayers are focused, or connection to the world is fading.  Maybe a few days later we ask ourselves again, "Is this all too good to be true?  Could we really be going to that wonderful place we always dreamed about? Could this all be happening so soon?!"  But each time we begin to question all we have to do is walk outside and look up and see that the stars and planets are still there, moving ever so steadily towards that Great Sign described right there in our Bibles.  We find comfort in the fact that the "Golden Ticket" is still there for all who are willing to look.  Then the sobering and exhilarating question pops back into our minds that comes so often now day... "Could we really see Jesus Christ in a matter of months?!"

If you truly believe in Jesus through faith in His sacrificial death on the cross (punishment HE took in YOUR place) then you know you will be with Him someday in Heaven.  This belief is not based on something you have done, but because of what He alone did and the unbreakable promises HE made.  If you have studied the Rev12 Sign for long, you also know there is a strong Biblical case to be made that this sign could point to the Rapture.   That is way so many of us walk around with the same look of joy Charlie has in the picture above...because this could be IT, this could be the message telling us that we will SEE HIM SOON and experience all that HE has in store for us!
"That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." 1 Cor 2:9
I hope you can relate to this image and it encourages you today. Don't let anyone steal that joy and tell you to lower your hopes to a more socially acceptable level.  We don't know anything for sure, but if there is even a chance this is correct then why wouldn't we be smiling like Charlie?!  If a visit to a factory can elicit such joy, how much more joy should a potential trip to be with our Savior bring to our faces?

In closing, here is a video clip I found of this portion of the movie which I feel is so relatable to all of us following this sign.  This clip even has some added music which makes it even more dramatic.   I just love it and I love you all!  Keep looking up, thanks for reading, and I am hoping to see you all very soon!

  1. Oh man. Brad!!! You nailed it. I feel like Charlie all the time. So Child-like!! and isn't the Kingdom of God like such as these?? I keep rechecking Stellarium to see Rev12 sign and triple/quadruple check it for the umpth-teen time!!! Its simply remarkable. And to think the Lord set it in place from the beginning of creation right before He made Adam and Eve just blows my mind!! Oh the times were living in and God knew that me and you and so many other like-minded 'child-like' brothers and sisters would fully appreciate it!!

I can barely contain my excitement as we draw nearer and nearer :)

    1. I was just thinking about how we must have faith like a little child (Matt 18:3-4) and how I should add that verse to the post... Then I see your comment!!! Thank you for the enthusiasm...Love it!

    2. It is like Christmas when I was 5, and I didn't know when the 25th was coming, so every night I would get up to check to if any visitors came and added more presents under the tree. I am getting all giddy. And with the Temple Mount thing going on, weeeeee!

    3. Brad's post and your responses remind me of the first time I visited The Call of the Bride website (which I found in Brad's links, thank you!!). In the 'Dailies 2017' section is a simple post that captured the wonder, the anticipation, and indeed the child-like desire for reuniting with our lord:

"06/08/17 - When our daughter was a toddler, she would hold her hands up to us and say, "Uppy!?!?" We knew she wanted us to pick her up. The weather has been great here the past few days, so I was outside enjoying it. I held my hands up to the sky and said, "Uppy?!?!?"

And I'd be a liar if I said re-reading this didn't make my eyes a little misty...bless you all!

    5. Hope InHim: it is I who thank you! I shared that entry with my wife and a lot of times as we are talking about all of these 'coincidences' that are coming to pass one of us will look up and say "uppy?!" - and that is all because of your words!

So yes, please be encouraged and continue on, for it is the works of people like you and Brad and the people at Unsealed and the people who *comment* on these posts that encourage the lurkers like me, that help us to realize we *aren't* the only ones astonished and emotional at all that is going on and that are praying for His swift coming. Thank you for that gift, truly!

  2. The heart-possessing Christian is the exception rather than the rule. He is looked
upon by the "mouth-professing" Christians as a religious fanatic or freak and is
hated and persecuted by the rest of the world. Although most cannot say why, they
truly hate him. To the heart-possessing Christian I say, "Take heart. Be of good
cheer. Our Savior was the first to be persecuted, hated, and scorned by the world
even to the point of being put to death. Through it all, He remained true and He
was the first Overcomer. The good news, my friend, is that you can also overcome.

    1. Dear Lance, not silly at all I think! ;-) There's a 70th anniversary of the Film Festival in Cannes this year as it will be the 90th anniversary of Oscar Award in 2018. ;-) Coincidence??

  4. Regarding Charlie and the chocolate factory I don't know this as it is not part of childhood culture in my country (I am from 1966). But I am so much grateful to God to have eventually shown me that I am not all alone anticipating His soon return now. Brad, your website is not only checked once daily by me... ;-) you do a great and important work of uplifting and strengthening the flock! Especially in a 100 F summer heat which jails me into the house in total separation from the wicked world outside in these days. I am so much pressing towards September you don't imagine! (Hopefully missing our pathetic govt elections on 24th) MARANATHA love you all folks! Greetings from Merkel-doomed Germany :)

    1. I didn't think it got that hot in Germany. You are probably safer inside, and not just from the heat, thanks to Merkel. I can't believe what is going on in Europe. The only thing that can explain it is that biblical prophecy must run its course. Be vigilant, guard your heart...

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
