A Fitting Finale? The Venus/Jupiter Conjunction Connection

I am convinced the Rev12 Sign was the real deal... If you are still visiting this site you probably are as well.   I actually believe it takes very little faith to believe such a thing when you ponder the scriptural references and the odds of such an alignment coming together so precisely.  It was something we saw with our own eyes for crying out loud!  Add on top of that all the other world events and 'signs of the times' which make it abundantly clear that we are living in a time period with huge prophetic significance.

Despite of this, many of us have been in a period of perplexity for the last month or so as we wait on the Lord and do our best to trust in His promises. As the days passed and theories fell by the wayside, it was understandable that some lost enthusiasm.  Sure some lost all interest, but for most of us I it seems we are unable to fade back into the lives we were living before we learned of the Rev 12 Sign. Praise God for that blessing... but it is also a cross to bear as well as we are all finding out.  I believe He has been winnowing us... testing our faith, honing our perseverance. Drawing us back to dependence soley on Him as He reminds us that all of us studying this are just humans... None of us have been given all the answers and none of us will be able to boast on that great day.  We are saved by grace and I believe it is only by the grace of God alone that we are able to understand anything at all... especially something as complicated and epic as interpreting the signs of His glorious return.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
By His grace a thought has reoccurred to me for the past month or more that doesn't seem to go away.  It goes something like this: Whenever things ramp back up there should be a very logical connection back to 9/23/17 that would add legitimacy to the sign.  I think of people sharing the gospel in the future, perhaps after we are gone, pointing back to the Rev12 Sign and explaining how that kicked everything off.  It seems to me there must be a logical connection to be able to teach the change of dispensation (Micah 5:3) in an easy to understand way.  Perhaps there would be another alignment, or a logical day count, or some other type of biblical precedent that connected directly to Rev 12 verses 1 and 2.   The reason I am writing this is because I am excited say all of those happen to roll together around the 12th and 13th of this month!  Could this be the fitting finale?

Below is a compilation of info of why this event seems so promising.  Nothing is for certain, but the info below has gotten me more excited than anything since the days leading up to September 23rd.  Please check it out and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.  God Bless!

Part 1: 7 reasons why I am excited about November 12th and 13th

1. Coming very soon Venus and Jupiter will form a beautiful conjunction in the sky (they get really close together). These two planets are the brightest objects in the sky besides the Sun and Moon and they will be practically on top of each other. It happens in the morning and in the East and all of these elements are directly relatable to the Rev 12 Sign and other biblical passages.

2. Venus is considered the "bright and morning star" and is biblically linked to Jesus Christ who is given the same title. Jesus is the head of the church.
“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” Revelation 22:12-16
3. Jupiter represents the Body of Christ.  We all know His literal body while he walked the earth was beaten and bruised for by his stripes we were healed (Is. 53:5).  True Christians (The Body of Christ) are often persecuted as well.  Representing this mystical body,  Jupiter completed a loop inside the womb area of Virgo for the period of a human pregnancy just prior to the alignment which fulfilled Revelation 12:1-2. Revelation 12:5 describes a rapture event in which that child is caught up to God at some point after this event. Now that planet which represents The Body of Christ (Jupiter) comes into close proximity with Venus. I believe this could be very clear imagery in the heavens of The Body of Christ (Us/ Jupiter) being united with the Jesus Christ (The Head) at His return.
And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
Colossians 1:18

Notice in the image above how the Venus appears to site directly on top of Jupiter just like a head would sit on a body.  This was a close as I could zoom in on this software and the imagery jumped out at me.  Additionally, if Jesus was going to give us something (like a new body) it is fitting that these planets would seem to 'touch' as well.

4. This conjunction takes place 50 days after the Revelation 12 Sign. Obviously we know that the Holy Spirit came to the disciples 50 days after Christ's crucified. 5 is also the number of grace. 50 days would be a fitting "grace period" after the sign to close out the age of grace. We shared a post on this back on October 5th... 50 Days of Grace | Reader Contribution

5. This conjunction also takes place 777 days since the last Blood Moon of the Tetrad in 2015. 7 is the number of perfect completion. If the Blood Moons were a warning of the end to come, 777 days would be a fitting and merciful period to show the perfect completion of the warning period which was ushered in by the Blood Moons. (Joel 2:31)  And as you can from Dan Matson's graphic below this isn't the only interesting day count to this conjunction!

6. In fact, this conjunction has been on peoples radar for many years as it closes out a series of five(5) Venus/Jupiter events which have all landed on very interesting days.  Dan is working on a post about this I'm sure, but for now here is one of his older posts from 2015 in which he touches upon this phenomena and looks forward to this day we are talking about. http://watchfortheday.org/aug7.html

7. A conjunction of Venus and Jupiter was an integral part of the Star of Bethlehem as described by Rick Larson who is famous for his Bethlehem Star presentation.  Rick's presentation awakened many of us to the world of Biblical Astronomy and Scott Clarke has repeatedly credited Rick Larson for initially helping light the fire that led to his subsequent studies. Here is an excerpt from the Bethlehem Star site where Rick describes the Jupiter / Venus conjunction at Christ's birth.

By the following June, Jupiter had finished crowning Regulus. The Planet of Kings [Jupiter] traveled on through the star field toward another spectacular rendezvous, this time with Venus, the Mother Planet. This conjunction was so close and so bright that it is today displayed in hundreds of planetaria around the world by scientists who may know nothing of Messiah. They do it because what Jupiter did makes such a great planetarium show. Jupiter appeared to join Venus. The planets could not be distinguished with the naked eye. If our magus had had a telescope, he could have seen that the planets sat one atop the other, like a figure eight. Each contributed its full brightness to what became the most brilliant star our man had ever seen. Jupiter completed this step of the starry dance as it was setting in the west. That evening, our Babylonian magus would have seen the spectacle of his career while facing toward Judea. No one alive had ever seen such a conjunction.

http://www.bethlehemstar.com/starry-dance/westward-leading/

As you can see we have a precedence of a Jupiter/Venus conjunction indicating huge events including the birth of Christ at His first coming.  Would it not make sense that a similar conjunction indicated another big event (the birth / rapture) of Christ's Body at His 2nd coming?  It makes a lot of sense to me!

Part 2: Conjunction Connection

The text below is making the rounds on Facebook and for good reason.... a fantastic summary that put many pieces together...  You may have seen it on some Rev 12 Facebook Groups or the Watch for the Day page.

(From our Sister Stephanie...)

"Family, I don't know if this connection has been made but I was stuffing my face at my sisters bday dinner and I randomly was thinking about the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter on 12/13 Nov. I've looked at the two mentions of the morning star and also the two different Greek words used for the word child in Rev 12:5 which I always thought was weird. I just solved the puzzle for real this time!!!

Ok in the first mention of morning star it says this: Rev 2:28 And I will give him the morning star. I never noticed that it says give "him" the morning star. I was like who is "him"? So I read the scripture above and it says,

Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Rev 2:28 And I will give him the morning star.

I was like I have seen this somewhere before and then I just realized who the "Him" was, look!!!

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. We know the child in both verses is Jupiter.

We know that the morning star is Venus, but I can confirm that bc the use of the original word for morning in Rev 22:16 is orthros. Here is the scripture and the meaning is below it..

Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

From orthros; relating to the dawn, i.e. Matutinal (as an epithet of Venus, especially brilliant in the early day) -- morning. see GREEK orthros

Sooooooo here is it out simply, When Jesus is saying he will give "him" the morning star, the "him"is the child in Rev 12:5. When Jupiter conjuncts with Venus Jesus is going to give Jupiter the morning star (Venus) I have looked at these scriptures for months and I never noticed the "Him" in Rev 2:28. What gave it away was when I saw Rev 2:27 above it about the rod of iron phrase, the same rod of iron that is given to the child Rev 12:5.

Guys this has to be right!!!"

The coming conjunction info: (Nov 12/13) Very interesting to consider.

I agree... very interesting indeed!  Thanks to all of you who have spread this message!

Part 3: Paul Dawson's latest Video about Venus

Here is the concluding video from Paul Dawson that highlighted much of this so beautifully and succinctly.  Check it out, it's just under 14 minutes long. I have watched it multiple times and found it so encouraging.

Regarding the video above and this conjunction our brother Bryan shared the following quote in a group I am a part of which I thought was quite insightful:

"I have run Stellarium back and forth many times after watching Paul Dawson's series and the Nov. 13th conjunction seems like such a fitting and poetic finale to this whole season."

I couldn't agree more. This would be a very fitting finale indeed!

Part 4: The Final Exit Out of The Woman?

Another thing I found interesting is that this conjunction takes place at the VERY EDGE of the boundary for the constellation Virgo.  In a few short days after this conjunction both planets will be out of Virgo (The Woman)... leaving only Mars in the constellation.  Mars is often the planet of War... so perhaps this indicates war in Israel after the church departs?  I am not saying this is the birth, but just another type of exit from the woman and potentially another piece to the puzzle.  It could be something or it could be nothing, but I thought I would share.

Conclusion

At times I feel like we are watching a very complex and detailed movie play out before our eyes.  We may have walked into the theater assuming the movie was 90 minutes long, but as we blow past that time marker we realized this is not your typical flick in any way.  With most movies you can get a sense you are getting close to the end, but if you haven't seen it before and aren't checking your watch you never quite know when the will credits appear on the screen.  I think it is the same way with the rapture and this season of watching. We have a sense we are towards the end of the age of grace, and are waiting for the rapture to take place... but we didn't write the script, we are just watching and eagerly waiting for the conclusion.  We know a movie can't go on forever though, and it is the same way with this world.  And just like a good movie, I have a feeling "The Director" will be able to tie up all these loose ends perfectly in the end.

So we must ask ourselves, is this conjunction the fitting finale to this epic film, or is this just another step in the process or piece of the puzzle?  Surely if a human director can formulate a script that will keeps people guessing our Awesome Abba can do the same and more.    None of us know how far this will play out but I believe it is worth eagerly watching that's for sure!  I believe there is a chance this could signify something important.  As you have seen above, there are a lot of elements that seem to come together in a beautiful way, but like always, we must wait and watch... in fact, that's exactly what He wants us to be doing. Maranatha!!
So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
Hebrews 9:28

    1. Good work, but I have even stronger evidence and more meaning for an event on this date!
I FOUND what I believe the correct combination to UNSEAL all three of Daniel's prophetic timelines using the Revelation 12:5 sign on October 13, 2017. The future signs in the sun, moon, and stars confirm this (I strongly believe!). I also believe I am the first to do this research and findings is worthy of EVERYONE! 2. Nick, I read through your presentation, and I too am in agreement with most of what you see, I also see many who believe that the Ten Commandments are applicable for today, but most leave out the Sabbath, I struggle with that myself, in this world today being what it is, working , taking care of things, seems the enimies have made it most difficult to keep the Sabbath, as I see it, that makes it even more important that we should take every effort to do so, but through my research, there are many contradictions, what you can do, and can't do for instance, I know YAHshua told us of a greater command, however, not meaning we shouldn't keep the Sabbath, but it is a fine line of believing YAHshua IS our Sabbath, everyday, and or being under the legal parts, the can't do this or that part, of the Torah, So,,,,I am still asking Abba Father for clear instructions for the Sabbath (Sat) I know it's ok, to do good things are n the Sabbath, YAHshua made that very clear, and what it good things may differ from one to another, for example, I love to cook for my Husband, and if you ask him, he will tell you, that is a very good thing! So, I guess,it's part of us individually to determine. I am open to any inspiration concerning this as it lines up with His Word. Birekoth my Brother! Shalom!

    6. I wonder if the venus/mars conjunction was actually the fulfillment of "Genesis 3:15 KJVS
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." Venus was above Mars!

  4. So following the Venus/Jupiter conjunction, they (along with the sun) enter Libra - symbolic for judgement, throne room? Meanwhile, Mars (war or as Paul believes - the dragon) is left waiting in the woman, just as the man-child is snatched away? If so, this is amazing and indeed a "fitting finale"...come quickly Lord Jesus!

  5. The 2nd star of the man-child (Venus) has been brought forth ( 11/2/17 )and seen this a.m. Mercury ( the god of words, covenants, and redemption) was sitting in the center of the balance with the Sun in the heal of the woman. Venus will ascend to God and his throne on 11:13.

1 Peter 4:17 17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Romans 16:20 20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.

Next up mars 11/29/17 and 1/7/18

The missing key to understanding the sign of the woman is an understanding what are called the Saros series of eclipses. The feasts are essential but so is the ancient language of eclipses ( that NASA still uses ) that we missed. The eclipse of 8/21/17 was known as Saros serries 145. It will complete Its series in 1009 years from now. By coincidence ?. Understanding how it works allows one to see that on 9/23/17 the dragon and all seven of his heads was place on 9/23/17. The sign started on 8/21/17 and will end on 1/7/18. If you want to know more please call 925-848-7188.

    1. Excellent points. I am looking deeper into the Saros cycles as well. Of all the Bible prophecy books I've read, one stood out as having predicted a major prophetic event in advance, with no significant prior "leading up to" activities, and getting it right. This is E. W. Bullinger and his "The Witness of the Stars" book, written in 1893, that predicted a major event concerning the "times of the Gentiles" in 1896 or 1897. That was when Teodor Herzl convened the first World Zionist Congress in Basel, Switzerland and predicted, accurately, that the Jewish state would likely be a reality within 50 years. UN resolution 181 authorizing the state of Israel occurred in November 1947.

I just came across another book, written in 1888 by Grattan Guinness, called "Light for the Last Days." He also uses the Saros cycle to predict, way back then, that 1917 and 1923 would be big years in Bible prophecy. Of course we know 1917 was the year of the Balfour Declaration and General Allenby's entrance into Jerusalem, ending exactly 400 years of Ottoman Turk rule. 1923 was the year the British Mandate began, ending on May 14, 1948.

Guinness' book is available online in text form. Hope this helps!

    2. Ironically we were told during the first vernal equinox of 4004 B.C. to watch for Saros cycle 120 # 61. The cycle began in 933 A.D. at the place of the vernal equinox of 4004 B.C. The 2015 eclipse occurred where Jupiter was placed also during the vernal equinox of 4004 B.C. Thus marking the location of the future 2015 eclipse which occurred during a super new moon, and the day of the vernal equinox. It was proceeded by the blood moons and followed by the same.

Revelation 12 was telling us to watch for Saros cycle 145.

  6. Great article, thank you. Since watching Paul's video a couple days ago it continues to resonate in my Spirit. We saw The Sign as all about Israel, which it is, but we also know that, really, it's ALL about JESUS and Israel serves that end. Thus, when Paul invites us to focus our gaze upon Venus, alone, in all of this, it seems appropriate and I am so thankful this got a page here. Yes, The Sign has many elements and layers but our LORD is THE point.

So, in Paul's video we see Venus, the Bright and Morning Star, starts at the far right, the 'beginning' in Hebrew writing and it migrates through the sign, with 3 total significant conjunctions occurring, and exits the Sign of Virgo at the far left, the position of the 'end' in Hebrew writing. Funny, think of the word-play, pun intended, that in this sequence, Venus, the 'type/symbol' of Jesus starts in a beginning position in Hebrew "WORD" and finishes at the END in Hebrew WORD structure. Consider John 1:1 as validating this metaphor of Beginning and Ending in Hebrew WORD structure pointing to our Savior, fascinating.

Add in the symbolism of the actors and, once again, we face-palm and say, "How can this NOT be it!!??"

The 'Crown' over Virgo was the 9 stars of the Lion of the Tribe, which always Crown her, plus Venus, the Christ; Mars, the harbinger of conflict/war and Mercury, the Messenger, of course, and all three in concert with the other 9 for the only time EVER. Next, not long after the solar 'Kill Shot' which hammered Mars (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puT-9nFtWZY&t=2187s) we see Venus conjunct Mars in front of the Woman, a clear picture of ET conflict over Israel; Lastly, Venus conjuncts Jupiter, the Head just above the Body, as you show here, as 'they' exit Virgo and enter the "altar of G-d" as originally known, now The Scales.

Lastly, one early point made along the way by Paul and easily not realized as central, is the odd fact that the GREAT WONDER did not happen on any feast day, although immediately close to one, is MEANT to tell us that the ONLY markers we can use will be HIS MARKERS which are beyond ALL influence/ control/input by anyone and that marker is HIS Heavens, period. So, while this will play out in RELATIVE meaning to the Hebrew calendar, we are being directed to specifically look to His Message Board (Gen 1:14), alone, for the clue. Does THAT help clarify all of us Eschatological Keystone Cops chasing a date from Calendar clues? In light of the directive within The Sign, echoing His Directive, "Look UP!" and everything else, the 3rd meaningful conjunction on 11/12-13 appears both authoritative and a finale. Maranatha!

  7. HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE:

Things do indeed seem to be heating up these days. But consider:

    1. Believers of my parent's generation had cause to think similar thoughts in 1939-1945, with the meteoric rise of the antichrist-like Adolf Hitler, 6 million Jews actually rounded up, imprisoned and murdered, the whole world at war, the invention AND USE of atomic bombs, etc.

    2. In my own generation, Hal Lindsay ("The Late Great Plant Earth") and Edgar Whisenant ("88 Reasons Why the Rapture will be in 1988") gave us lots of reasons to believe the Rapture would be coming very soon, like Israel becoming a nation again in 1948 plus a 40-year generation of testing, etc.

    3. Now the present generation sees signs in the sky, counts 100 years from this event and 70 years from that, etc.

Perhaps I'm just old and jaded, but it seems to me that real atom bombs killing lots of real people is a more impressive thing than, say, Jupiter bouncing around inside a quadrilateral of four other stars for some number of days. But please don't get me wrong; I'm not saying the end isn't near. I've been looking up since I wrote and recorded this song...

    http://godlychristianmusic.com/music/play2.aspx?id=3012&type=song.mp3

...way back in 1982. I'm just saying that things have looked promising before, and yet we're still here, decades later. So maybe we will all be healthier and happier if we keep the WHOLE counsel of God (Acts 20:27) before us -- including our Blessed Hope -- as outlined in this other song of mine from the same period (no updates necessary):

    http://godlychristianmusic.com/music/play2.aspx?id=3027&type=song.mp3

PS. I just noticed that I used the word "generation" at least five times in this post, and not once was I thinking of a precise number of years (like 40 or 70 or 80). Curious thing, language. Curious thing.

    1. Feeling jaded? Pray and talk to God, to Jesus and let Him know what you think, how you feel. Ask Him to reveal something to you. He knows exactly what you need before you even ask and He gives freely to those who love Him. I know what you mean by jaded as I've been feeling sorta out of it since September 23rd has come and gone, although not totally out of it as I still keep up with current events. You are much older than I, I can see how you'd feel jaded, but don't give up or get complacent.

      Delete
    2. Thanks, ReticentIndignation, but I don't feel jaded. I thought, perhaps, someone else might see me that way and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I'm as joyful and hopeful as ever, just keeping busy (Luke 19:13) as I watch for our Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13).

I must admit that I do feel, sometimes, like I'm "in a strait betwixt two" (Philippians 1:23). Write me directly (gerry.rzeppa@pobox.com) and I'll show you why (it's hard to explain without pictures). In lieu of that, the songs above (plus the one below) will have to suffice to express my true feelings:

    1. Through and Through, funny, but as I prepare myself to continue until ... I am also now wondering if, like the opening act which made such a show of NOT connecting a specific Biblical marker with our harpazo, if perhaps the closing act of the astro-drama may do likewise.

As profound as this 3rd act may be, once again, there may yet be more. This being the true closing act of this Great Wonder, however, does beg a truly imminent conclusion thereafter, it would seem. Having recently absorbed Steve's latest over at HeavenlySign2017 and then remembering, in light of the fact that, once THIS shout is uttered, our Abba's work in this age is DONE, perhaps even another year is a blink. 3. Even so, I don't think it's not Christ-like yearning and hoping for a soon rapture and not feeling comfortable about staying in this dark, horrible world, dwelling in our sinful flesh for an unknown period of time.

      Delete
    4. p.s.: I’m not saying that you guys are suggesting the above things as not being Christ-like, don’t get me wrong please, just added my opinion about the attitude of “hoping for a soon rapture” in general. (Maybe I should rephrase the first half of the sentence in my previous comment above and say that imo it’s not an “un-Christ-like” attitude when believers are hoping, waiting, and yearning for the things I listed there -as being free from this dark world and our sinful flesh- as soon as possible.) “The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" (Rev 22:17)

    5. Hi Nora. In fact, I believe there is a specific crown just for that. 2 Tim. 4:8.
For all of we who've loved and longed for His appearing, it is going to be a thrill beyond our present comprehension to be able to cast that one at His feet. Soon and very soon, Yeshua! Maranatha!

    6. Thank you for reminding me of that dear Sheila, this is one of my fave verses! Much love, Sis! :--)

    7. Dear sisters this "crown" is also the one Philadelphia has got to hold fast together with the "word of my patience" Revelation 3:10-11 (G5281 hupomon'e = cheerful endurance, sustaining perseverance, steadfast continuance) which is the hardest part now IMO... But we may still exercise to be more Christ-like as He also waits patiently for His bride now much longer than we do in our short lives for Him! He endures waiting already for around 2,000 years now. Much love! :)

      Delete
    8. Annabel,

I agree, the Lord told us to be cheerful in every circumstance. The reason is that we could trust Him and lean on Him all the time, no matter what. He promised to help us constantly and see us through. At the same time, as the Bible says, He is a High-Priest who is not only aware of our weaknesses but absolutely merciful toward us as well. His heart goes out for us, He knows the way we are and He’s been in our shoes. The Bible also says that the whole creation groans and is in travail, basically waiting for redemption and we are groaning and in travail with it while we’re waiting for the Lord’s return and for the redemption of our bodies. So again, I agree with you that this is a very hard part. I truly believe so that the Lord understands it and is merciful when we grow weary and He’s always waiting for us to turn to Him for comfort when we’re discouraged, sad, tired and/or feel so that we can’t go on anymore. A brother in Christ who’s a watchman has been in tears a few days ago in one of his videos (on youtube) sharing with us that he is at the end of his ropes emotionally, he is tired. Instead of comforting him with love and gentleness and instead of encouragement, some Christians called him whiney. Now, that’s an ugly, un-Christ-like kind of attitude on their part. I witness it too many times when Christians are literally beating up other believers with their tongues (when those people are showing any kind of weakness) accusing and/or condemning them instead of showing them mercy and love what the Lord would actually do and what He expects us to do imo. (When correction is needed, even that should be done in love.) My point is, that our waiting for the Lord, in this dark and evil world is oftentimes hard and it’s natural that we are growing weary and we could get sad and discouraged, we travail and groan in our hearts, in our inner-man. The Lord isn’t condemning us, He is merciful and loving toward us, He wants to comfort us, heal our wounds when it’s needed and refresh us. Okay, that turned out a bit long, I just felt the need to talk about these things in general a bit. :--)

      Delete
    9. p.s.: We travail and groan in our hearts, our inner-man with great longing for His appearance and the ultimate redemption of our bodies by Him, and our rescue by Him out of this dark world while being freed from that sinful flesh that only caused trouble and pain.

  15. Brad, thank you again for doing that. One of the things I've found most compelling over the last couple weeks as I've watched each of these pieces gel and come together. So many are coming to the same conclusion from completely different angles. This to me is a true representation of "out of the mouth of 2-3 witnesses". We all know there are others as well, but via signs in the heavens, mathematical computation of days, mathematical computation of historical events and Words of Revelation from Scripture - all these are witnessing to our spirits we are so very close. The ending will be as spectacular as everything else our Lord does. It came to me again as I watched Paul's video - he has taken the absolute correct approach and tied everything directly to the representation of Christ As long as we continue to point to Christ we are on the right track!

Let your heart be wide open to hearing that call. This is exhilarating if you just think about it in the right way. It's like being lost at sea in a battered ship with torn sails for way too long and someone up in the crow's nest is suddenly shouting Land Ahoy!!!

  19. Thank you Brad, very-very much! Your article is wonderful! And I took also screenshots with Paul's video. It is very interesting for me the very end, Paul said: "Each conjunction which occurs after the sign is a single snapshot in time that is telling a particular part of the Revelation 12 story… It is telling a spiritual, literal and a physical story in separate yet connected sections… Sept 23rd Revelation 12 sign was the first snapshot: Israel is about to go into travail and the Church is about to be raptured… October 5th - Mars/Venus Conjunction snapshot: The war with Satan in the heavens… November 12th — Jupiter/Venus conjunction: The head meets the body." And he mentions then the book of Bullinger, The Holy Altar. It's extreem interesting. I try now to outline for me the whole history. Very much Blessings to all! Maranatha!

As excited as I was/am for the fulfillment of Rev 12:1-2, I never felt in my spirit that it marked the rapture the way the I sense this Head/Body conjunction/joining with the sun in the "throne room" constellation more accurately reflects 12:5. All of the details surrounding it make it too elaborate and perfect not to be part of God's story to us. I believe Scottie Clarke did a great job outlining the dragon element and mars more accurately portraying war with the woman/Israel. Looks like the 6th seal, Ezekiel 38, Rev 12:5 and possibly Isaiah 17 simultaneously mark the tribulation being spring upon the world like a trap, like a woman in labor. Rejoice ye who are in the heavens but woe to those in the earth and sea! Even so, come Lord! Love y'all

  21. Read this tonight...
“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”
    ‭‭Hab.‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭

I think my error with the Rev 12 sign was to view is a single moment-in-time event...and expecting that moment in time to bring about a certain event. It would be like seeing one screen shot of a movie and thinking that was the whole subject matter. This sign has been playing out in front of our eyes for the last year (much longer for some). When the sign is viewed as in progress...it makes much more sense (at least to me). This upcoming conjunction has my FULL attention, but if I’ve learned anything, it’s to be patient and wait expectantly (albeit that waiting will have a heightened sense of hope this week). Regardless, we are there....soon and very soon.

  24. When Paul released his latest video on the Venus conjunctions I suddenly thought "This could be the clue!" From Jeffs brilliant article on the "Alpha and Omega" implications in scripture (8/26/17) which we may have almost put aside already during the rush of daily events just since August it seems very concludent, logic and compelling to expect our departure at least (!) around that time if not setting a specific date then. Thank you very much Brad my brother beloved for still taking your time to feed the flock so wisely. Great work, praise our LORD until He comes! I can almost smell Him, sweet incense and divine ointments perfume (Song of Songs 1:3)... Ohhh, come sweet LORD!

And just yesterday 11/3, He gave me a personal FINAL opportunity to witness Him to my own still unbelieving and blaspheming parents on earth at the occasion of another obituary of one of my aunts by quoting from Philippians 3:20-21 and giving a postcard statement that my family is NOT WAITING FOR DEATH but awaiting our transformation into immortality at His return for us. I had prayed and asked the LORD a lot about an occasion like this but still got no "Go!" for it (after having witnessed to them many years ago but only having been constantly cursed and mocked so that I had to break with them). So if you will, you may take this as confirmation of our soon departure as well. MARANATHA and everybody who doesn't love the LORD Jesus let him be ANATHEMA!

  29. I find it very telling that as in reading Hebrew we have been witnessing God's incorruptible story in the heavens play out from right to left, and every heavenly depicted piece of the story is in chronological order right along with the scripture. The sign of 12:1-2, with Saturn(Kronos who devoured his own children as soon as they were born) waiting in Serpens, the serpent constellation with 7 heads and 7 crowns, then the "he, who will rule with a rod of iron, is given Venus the bright and morning star" at the harpazo up to the throne room, as the conjuncted Venus(head)/jupiter(body) enter the throne room with the sun, just as mars(war) enters the woman(Israel). ALL matching scriptures sprinkled throughout the scriptures. I would've liked to see Scottie Clarke pull this last piece in completing the work he bagan but I really like as stated in the article, so no man can boast. All so fitting indeed. Amen! Side note, I'm of the belief that God, in waiting until the last minute to save as many as would come to him delayed his feast days, and the 12th is the 8th, the Great and last day, when the last possible trumpet can be blown. God bless you all, see you all soon, share the good news while there's time! See you where there is no darkness, no death, no tears- only life, light, love, where our Lord and savior is!

Because 11-12/13 is BOTH a heavenly sign AND a the last great day of the last great feast with a last great trumpet this Shemini Atzaret of 2017 (the leap year) is the reason why it is the greatest date for the harpazo yet. Now guess how long this deception in our skies can go on if the 'system' begins to crumble visibly so quickly now? Sun Simulator, Moon Simulator, just to prevent people from panicking... It's really hard to believe ("cognitive dissonance") but not too hard to SEE if you go outside and look up. How does the sun and moon look to you? Does it LOOK normal? REALLY? No, not at my place because I did go outside and watch sun and moon (which was full on 11/4 but looking normal - this other "thing" on cameras is NOT the moon). If you know how sun and moon look and behave like normal you WILL notice a difference today. Compare to your childhood or 10-20 years ago. You cannot imagine how big the DECEPTION today is but once you tried to put the pieces together *geoengineering patents, space prism devices, DE laser weapons etc.* you WILL understand that the "fiery red dragon" of Rev12:3-4 IS STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! Dear Steve Sewell my brother in Christ this cannot go on until Pentecost next year... That'll be another 6 months?? No way.

Take your time to watch these really short videos about Moon Simulator 11/4 Airport Perth Australia (Jeff P) and this one on the same issue from Alaska Camera 11/4 (WSO) and check out for yourself (!!) the real existing US patents for Sky orbs and Weather manipulation systems (WSO) and you will bring this "WAR IN HEAVEN" puzzle altogether in realtime. I myself have showed you strange webcam images from our highest mountain the Zugspitze Germany 11/4 recently now what you see here CANNOT be the moon even if full like yesterday.

So the picture is clear to me now: We have the heavenly constellations depicted by real existing heavenly bodies, we got the invisible spiritual realm at work in another dimension BUT WE HAVE CONCRETE ACTION OF SATAN IN SPACE TOO WHICH IS VERY EXPENSIVE MANIPULATION DEVICES DECEPTION (INCLUDING WEATHER WARFARE) FROM NASA TO OBSCURE STRANGE BODIES IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM! I still checked the scriptures for "morning / day star" and found one quite interesting in Job 38:7 when the "morning stars" are mentioned in plural. This chapter again deals with the very beginning of CREATION. Now what is the most spectacular "new creation" of God? THE CHURCH!! 2 Corinthians 5:17

Both scriptures in Revelation 2:28 and 22:16 contain the "morning star" but please check out Strongs Concordance for indepth study as the words for "morning" are different = G4407 proinos (Rev2:28) and G3720 orthrinos (Rev22:16)! In 2 Peter 1:19 it is the "day star" G5459 phosphoros (= literal planet Venus!!) that is mentioned exclusively in this verse and nowhere else. This must be it. We solved the riddle. Buckle up, see you next week up in the air with the LORD! Much love, take care (please click!) XOXO

If that’s the case, and Lord willing we’ll be raptured around that time, the rapture will have a connection to the fall feasts after all.

Then it means probably double prophecy to the new creation? It's very interesting! Then Psalm 148:2-3 says separately about "angels, hosts, sun and moon, stars of light" usw. Rev 1:20 compares stars with "angels of the seven churches". The "morning star" is Jesus Christ Himself. Also Rev 5:13 says that all creation praises the Lamb. It's great! Thanks to all of you for your wonderful thoughs, this is beginning of this praisings and blessings and songs! I think so now with all this story! Psalm 150:6! Maranata!

Jesus may call us up at any time, and our hope is that it will be soon.
      BUT...
      God is gracious.
As BAD as we can imagine things are going to be, God KNOWS.
And for that reason, we should all be grateful that He has NOT come yet.
So many have not been saved; many who believe they are "going to heaven" because they are "good" people or go to church on Easter AND Christmas or...
Then there are those who are so caught up in the world, again, "good" folks, that just do not have time for God. Besides church is boring, or "nobody can be that good, so why bother."
Whatever their reasons, while we are waiting, let's all remember to PRAY and do what we can to help others to know God's truth so that they may be saved. NOW!
      God told us to watch.
      That's a good thing.
Bringing others' to the Lord while we wait is better.
P.S. I need to remind myself of this every.single.day.

    2. Jenny,

Bringing people to Christ is the heart of the matter and it’s not mutually exclusive with watching and eagerly waiting for His return, imo. On the other hand, many of us have people in our lives who are precious to us yet unsaved, they worth the wait of any amount of time of delay! Any amount. That’s the only thing that worth the Lord’s “tarrying”, for more to get saved. (I put the word of *tarry* in quotation marks because in the Lord’s perspective He doesn’t tarry.) However, the time will come when He’ll stop waiting, the rapture will happen while countless people will still be unsaved. The upside is that a great multitude of people will be saved during the tribulation period, so even if the rapture happens, there’s still hope despite the dark times that come upon the world.

    3. I’m one of those who firmly believe that the Lord won’t let anybody fall through the cracks when it comes to the issue of salvation. Unlike us, He knows it perfectly well who wants Him in their lives, who’d chose Him. He’ll do everything to get them and He’ll succeed. (Of course He calls everyone and He wants everyone to get saved but humans have free will and sadly, not everybody will want Him in their lives.)

    4. Nora, I agree and I believe that He knows and He knew when He set the Appointed Day everyone who would accept His gift of grace through faith and those who would have to see more in order to believe. He knows that "more time" than He has alloted will not change their minds because like Thomas, they require more proof. Yes, I do pray for as many as will to run quickly to Him based on our testimony. But I also know, that like today when in just one instance, so many Brothers and Sisters were slain in their smalltown Texas Church, nothing will get better in this insane world until He comes. Romans 8 again. My desire for His appearing is not just for me, but for the groaning and travailing of this entire planet. Watching or reading the news is heartbreaking on a daily basis. It is time and His appearing is the only answer to make an end of the evil that is now even permeating the very air we have to breathe. I hate death and I hate sorrow and I long to see the end of it. Unfortunately, the cure cannot come without the surgery of the 70th week, and ultimately that at the end of another 1000 years,
      But I must trust Him
completely with getting ALL of those home for whom it will be home. So yes, I do say, Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus. Maranatha!

    5. Oh Sheila, you spoke my heart. He KNOWS who will and who will not accept Him. No, we do not even need to debate Predestination - Foreknowledge does not equal Predestination. He knows what they will do with their Free Will - as you point out - All are called and few make the choice in their own heart which allow them to be chosen. So very sad yesterday and today in Texas. All people are precious, but when it is very near you - somehow you can see it more clearly.

  39. This is for all (including myself). Don't be like the Shulamite in the Song of Songs chapter 5 verse 3 who hesitated while the groom was knocking. She thought about having to put on her robe and dirty her feet to get to the door. While the LORD was waiting and knocking she took too long and he was not there when she finally got up to answer (Song of Songs 5:6).

  40. Great article thank you.

Do you ever wonder why it all appears so complicated? I sometimes think to myself why does it have to be so hard and how many more people would be believers of Jesus if it was much more simpler than it is. The bible easier to read, the rapture actually on the 23rd instead of a mystical date, the mark of the beast we can identify now and the same for this mystery son of perdition....etc...etc. So many questions with so few answers.....

It was still a great article.

    1. Dear Dave, SALVATION does not depend on digging into the PROPHETIC content of the bible. The message of the gospel is so easy that a little child can understand it. But even IF you understand the message you still need the sovereign will of God to draw you to Christ John 3:8 and 6:44 - Blessings to you!

    2. Dave asks, "Do you ever wonder why it all appears so complicated? I sometimes think to myself why does it have to be so hard and how many more people would be believers of Jesus if it was much more simpler than it is.

DJ replies, We have a family motto: "If it's hard, it's wrong" (Matthew 11:30). Jesus was the Great Simplifier. He reduced the whole Law and Prophets to two simple sentences: "Love God. Love your neighbor," (Luke 10:27). And He reduced all of social ethics to just seven single-syllable words: "Do what you want done to you" (Luke 6:31, DJV). So if something seems more complicated than it should be, or if there's no unity of the Spirit about something, it's probably wrong. Or at least it's not the kind of thing Jesus would say. 1 Corinthians 14:33.

Here's a song that (I think) sums up all this prophecy and watching stuff in a simple, Jesus-like way:

    3. I think it's time to post my little parable again:

A man had two daughters. They lived in a trailer park that, frankly, had seen better times. One day the man said, "I'm going to find us a better place to live. You girls take care of things here while I'm gone."

Late one night he returned and was greeted with joy by his younger daughter who had spent her days checking the phone for messages and sitting by the window watching for any sign of his return.

      "Where's your sister?" he asked.

"I don't know," she replied. "She hasn't been watching with me."

So the man went in the house and found his older daughter climbing out of bed, a little groggy, startled awake by the sound of his truck coming up the drive.

"What have you been doing?" he asked.

"Well, the first thing I did was clean up the yard," she said. "I sold all those broken machines as scrap metal. Then I planted some flowers. They're really pretty; you'll be able to see them in the morning. After that I emptied out all the closets and had a yard sale. Then I dusted, vacuumed, and washed the windows. Today I did the shopping and cleaned the bathroom. Here's the money from the scrap metal and the yard sale. Can I fix you something to eat?"

      Questions:

      1. Which daughter, do you think, was less confused by rival theories?
      2. Which daughter, do you think, suffered less trauma from false alarms?
      3. Which daughter, do you think, found the waiting time pass more quickly?
      4. Which daughter, do you think, "took care of things" while her master was away?
      5. Which daughter would you want "taking care of things" at the new place?

    4. DJ,

I'd like to reply to your parable (again) that watching for Him is something the Lord admonished us to do! We should watch! Please don't make others feeling guilty over watching and waiting for the Lord! Also I see an erring logic here which is that watching for the Lord's return and occupying ourselves couldn't be done at the same time. We could be watchful while doing the Lord's business! Also, the Lord's business is something that we do at His prompts and in His strength. Instead of slaving for Him like the older brother did in Jesus' parable of the prodigal son, walking in the good works He Himself prepared for us could be very rewarding and fulfilling. I believe it with all my heart that those who were eagerly watching and waiting for Him won't be put to shame when He returns for us and their attitude won't be belittled. Speaking about the Lord's business, He called certain people to be watchmen on the wall, at the same time He also admonished every single one of us to be watchful.

    5. DJ, I totally get what you are saying! Birekoth to you! As we look up, and keep about the Fathers business!

    6. DJ, one other point I think you might consider. We always tend to think of "ourselves only" when we look at Scripture. I believe you have succinctly outlined the great necessities for Believers to walk in His way. However, there is another element most Christians forget as they struggle to try and understand the Deeper Things of God. There is a very real enemy and there is a very real war that has continued for 6,000 years. It was absolutely essential the Old Testament be written in such a way the enemy was unable to decode the plan of God for Redemption. The death and destruction we see strewn throughout the scripture is the reversal of the evil seeds planted by Satan and his minions to prevent you and I going home. That's why the homily, "The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed and the Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed." It was necessary to protect us and to protect His plan. We should be more grateful than any could imagine. Also, the digging, the unwinding and the search for the nuggets gives us a greater appreciation for and an opportunity to search the mind and heart of God. What a Blessing! Conversely to your argument, I have found the very simplicity of the Gospel message of Salvation is the very thing many are so resistant to. If I could tell you the number of times I've heard, "That can't be right, that's too easy. It has to be more than that." This is exactly why we have so many who, without wisdom and understanding, attempt to add to Salvation. They confuse Sanctification with Salvation and then argue with those who would say, "No, salvation is simply Jesus Christ did it all - He was crucified, buried and rose again on the third day so that His Blood paid the price for your sin. Accept and Trust and it is done." That's Salvation - then Sanctification can begin over a period of time. It is beautifully simple and the most complex truth you will ever learn.

      Blessings - Sherry

    7. DJ... first off, thank you for commenting over the past several months and sharing your perspective. I appreciate the polite way you bring alternative views to the table and I am sure others do too. God Bless you!

As for your thought provoking parable, allow me to take a stab at it as I don't believe I have responded directly to it the other times it's been posted. As for the 5 questions, clearly the answer is the "working daughter". I agree that the other daughter, the "waiting daughter" would have been much more prone to false alarms, getting her hopes up, etc, etc as you so clearly illustrate.

But I do feel there is at least one problem with this analogy... I will try to explain... please bear with me.

First, the fathers directive to the girls to "take care of things while he was gone" seems to parallel the great commission in Matt 28:18-20, correct? So based on your parable I think perhaps you are suggesting that it is very hard to do both? While I suppose it's possible these extreme characterizations are true in some, I would suggest to you that for the VAST MAJORITY of us, watching actually increases our desire to fulfill the great commission and our overall Christian "productivity". If you love Jesus and understand how close we could be to the hell on earth shortly to come after we leave then I think sharing the gospel automatically becomes a huge priority. You cannot put off those gospel conversations forever, you know there is a time limit. I have yet to meet a sincere watchman or watchwoman who is lukewarm in their faith. When you are looking up you are much less concerned with the things of this world. I think those who are asleep to the signs of Christ return are far more susceptible to the cares of this world. I have found that when someone becomes aware of the lateness of the hour it is high octane fuel for their engine of faith. Bible study, witnessing, prayer and discipleship all come much easier when one is aware of how close we are to the end.

Nobody is suggesting we don't occupy until He comes....or as you put it..."sitting by the window". I haven't heard of people quitting their jobs or sitting on their hands doing nothing but looking to the sky in some sort of trance. It is disingenuous to suggest that watching intently somehow diminishes our productivity as a Christian witness and worker for Him. I think the exact opposite is true as I shared above. Furthermore, 1st Thessalonians 5 (read the whole chapter) lays this out perfectly as we should be awake and sober and not taken by surprise because our eyes are wide open, yet Paul goes on to implore us not to be idle in the least while we wait.

So I would suggest there is perhaps a third daughter in your analogy... the "hopeful daughter" who balances out the extreme personalities of her two sisters. When the "working daughter" becomes too consumed with work to look out the window, or too tired to go on or perhaps bitter with the pitiful state of thier surroundings this third daughter comes beside her to help with the chores with an encouraging word saying... "He is coming soon, don't worry!" When the "watchful daughter" gets discouraged by the false alarms or perplexed as she wonders what's taking so long, the hopeful daughter comes beside her with an encouraging word saying "He is coming soon, don't worry!"

She walks the fine line, but each day that passes brings her hopeful spirit comfort as she realizes she is one day closer to seeing her father soon. She often thinking of Him, yet still going about her day fulfilling her duties, all the while reminding herself of the promise of her daddy's return. And when the father arrives and asks her what she did while he was gone.... Instead of highlighting her work, or highlighting her watching, she focused on his promise to them and how she used her faith in him to encourage her siblings while they waited.

    8. Sherry, that is so very true. One of the hardest things is to get people to see the simplicity of salvation. They feel as though they must somehow help Him to save them. A hard wall to get through. And even a small amount of pride will prevent it. I have a family member who confessed to be a lifelong believer in the Gospel, yet told me after one of the many ugly quarrels with his wife that he was man enough to stand before God and take responsibility for his own sins.
I looked at him and asked what exactly he thought was in that Cup in Gesthemene. The one that had our Lord in such agony and sweating as it were great drops of Blood as He asked the Father to take it from Him if possible. What were the contents in that Cup that would take Him to the Cross?
I watched as the Holy Spirit fell upon this hard man and he fell to his knees in tears realizing he could never stand before the God of all Creation to pay the penalty for even his small part in the contents of that Cup.
I see him often and sanctification is definitely a process as he battles his temper at times,
but this is where our hope and prayers are so necessary as the nature and complexity of our human hearts are revealed to us.
      What sweet mercy
to know that Christ, and Christ alone is the Author and Finisher of the work that He begins in us. And I believe acknowledging that simple fact will get us all right where He wants us!
      Many Blessings!

DJ replies, And God bless you, too. You have a very nice website here, and you do a great job moderating the comments.

Brad says, As for the 5 questions, clearly the answer is the "working daughter". I agree that the other daughter, the "waiting daughter" would have been much more prone to false alarms, getting her hopes up, etc, etc as you so clearly illustrate.

DJ replies, Great. So now that we've got the two "extremes" laid out before us, let's all shoot (or continue to shoot) for something in the middle.

Brad says, ...the fathers directive to the girls to "take care of things while he was gone" seems to parallel the great commission in Matt 28:18-20, correct?

DJ replies, Actually, I had Luke 19:13 in mind.

Brad says, So based on your parable I think perhaps you are suggesting that it is very hard to do both?

DJ says, Not quite. I'm suggesting that it's easy to become a "Rapture Junkie," not just longing, but lusting for the Lord's Return, and hard to knuckle down and persevere in the mundane duties that are right in front of our faces. C. S. Lewis said that the difference between a love and lust is that a lust makes everything else seem uninteresting, while a love makes everything else more interesting. The point of my parable isn't that the laboring daughter was more righteous than the watcher, but that she was happier and healthier.

Brad says, Watching actually increases our desire to fulfill the great commission and our overall Christian "productivity".

DJ says, Let's not make the mistake of separating our activities into "religious" and "secular." Cutting the lawn can be as important and as pleasing to our Lord as preaching a sermon, depending on the time, place, and the person.

Brad says, If you love Jesus and understand how close we could be to the hell on earth shortly to come after we leave then I think sharing the gospel automatically becomes a huge priority.

DJ says, Yet unfulfilled predictions are not generally conducive to a credible witness. I'm pretty sure an unbeliever, reading everything posted on this site, would probably think, "Wow. Those folks are really anxious to get out of this world. They get all excited about this date or that, then, when nothing happens, instead of explaining what went wrong, they shuffle their data and get all excited about another date." THAT, unfortunately, is the message that (I believe) comes across.

Brad says, Nobody is suggesting we don't occupy until He comes....or as you put it..."sitting by the window".

      DJ replies, Good.

Brad says, I would suggest there is perhaps a third daughter in your analogy... the "hopeful daughter" who balances out the extreme personalities of her two sisters.

DJ replies, You're an answer to prayer, Brad. That's exactly the kind of daughter we should all be. And there she was the whole time -- right "between the lines" in my little parable, just waiting for the Holy Spirit to make her visible to each reader, as He has to you.

Brad continues, And when the father arrives and asks her what she did while he was gone.... Instead of [only] highlighting her work, or [only] highlighting her watching, she focuses on his promise to them and how she used her faith in him to encourage her siblings while they waited.

DJ replies, Well, of course; encouragement was one of her assigned duties. But let's keep in mind that a roller-coaster ride of intense hopes, dashed hopes, more intense hopes, more dashed hopes is not the most encouraging of things.

    10. DJ...is this parable of your own invention? Cuz if it is, then why didn't you just go ahead and include the 3rd daughter so as not to cause any complexity?
      It almost sounds as
if you really do think a searching out of the season of Yeshua's return is equivalent to something as sad as drug addiction rather than the relationship that it is. Have you ever actually had a person you loved more than life, itself, to have to go away for a long period of time to a far away place, perhaps a tour of duty, or whatever? You know they are finally on their way home and you are now tracking every leg of their flights and every hour of stopovers and layovers, keeping the news on in case of a, God forbid, incident, watching the weather reports for cancellations and just hoping it all goes according to the appointed plan.
I have, more times than I care to count, so this is not a parable. Never once did I think of myself as a husband junkie "lusting" for his return but rather a wife longing to be safely reunited with her husband. Nor do I think of myself as a Rapture "junkie" lusting for a fix. We LOVE the appearing of our LORD because we love Him! If you and anyone else cannot understand that relationship dynamic, I pray it will become obvious.
And if you respond, please do it without the she said, I say thing...just say.
I love you as a Brother, but this rug is under my feet and it ain't going anywhere. Maranatha!

    12. Hi Sheila,

I like the way you described our yearnful waiting for the Lord, amen to that! Pastor JD Farag used to say several times that the thought of the rapture, knowing that the Lord will bring us home keeps him going; it energizes him to go through his daily business. I'm feeling the same way, so in that sense I don't mind being a *rapture junkie*. :--) This is our blessed hope.

      Delete
    13. Dear Sheila B,

Yes, the parable is my own invention. I didn't include the 3rd daughter in the story because the 3rd daughter is (hopefully) the reader who, inspired by the Holy Spirit to examine himself/herself (2 Corinthians 13:5) pictures himself/herself in a happy and healthy medium between the two daughters in the story. The questions at the end emphasize the virtues of the laboring daughter simply because, as humans, it's typically more difficult for us to be like the working daughter (boring!) than the watching daughter (exciting!).

Yes, I know what it's like to be separated from a loved one. But I also know what it's like to BE the loved one, arriving home to find either (a) that everything was done in my absence as I would have it done, or (b) that my ways and wishes were forgotten while I was away, and I return to unruly children, unpaid bills, and an unkempt mess of a home with a plethora of emotion-based excuses for the lack of discipline and effort while I was away (Luke 17:6-10).

Assuming you've read some Narnia, let me close with this reminder: Aslan is not a tame lion.

      Delete
    14. Just saying DJ, as you were lamenting a lack of simplicity and too much mystery, I wouldn't have thought you intended one to read between any lines.
Brother, I guess we just have different priorities as to what we want the Lord to find us doing at this point in time. I was just trying to share with you what is in no way an emotional-based excuse for some kind of laziness, but rather a deep longing to be with our very Reason for being. But be comforted, over the years, we've worn out 5 Craftsman riding mowers, a John Deere, and more weed eaters than I can count. (And lots of prayers were made from those
mowers:-)The grass will keep right on growing, though, and we will always have the poor among us in this world.
      Matt. 26:7-13.
So at this critical time, when we are so close to His return, I do choose to focus on watching, waiting, praying, searching and listening for His Voice as much as possible, but believe it or not, that's okay or I doubt I'd feel such peace about it.

And as far as Aslan goes, I think we'd probably read him very differently as well. Loved all the Narnian Chronicles but my favorite C.S. Lewis is probably The Great Divorce. And I saw the Screwtape Letters as a gifted insight on how the enemy likes to work among us.

So I'll just say as long as you are at peace with your part, and do not resent me for mine with harsh words, then blessings and Maranatha!

    15. Goodness, I need to pay more attention to these analogies/teasers etc, because I obviously missed the 'obvious'. When first reading your parable however many weeks ago it was, I thought it was simply a modern day reference to Mary and Martha. I wonder how often Mary 'looked for her Lord', when she wasn't 'slaving over the stove' in his absence...

      Delete
    16. Yo, Through and Through!

Mary and Martha did indeed come to mind as I was writing that little parable. But I think it's important to note that Martha's problem was nothing more than bad timing -- when God Himself is answering questions in the living room, it's no time to be holed up in the kitchen. And the converse is also true -- when there's work to be done in the kitchen (and God Himself isn't around answering questions) there's not much point to loitering in the living room.

Consider this paraphrase of Ecclesiastes 3: "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: A time to be like Martha, a time to be like Mary, and a time to be a little bit of both." If we can agree on that, the only question that remains is, What time is it?

So what time is it? Well, IF Genesis 1 in concert with 2 Peter 3:8 really does outline a 6000-year plan for the ages preceding the 1000-year "Sabbath Rest" of the Kingdom, and...

      (1) IF the current Hebrew year is correct (5778) is correct, we're looking at 200-some years in the kitchen; but...

      (2) IF this guy here (http://2028end.com/) is right about the calendar, then we're looking at just 3 to 4 years in the kitchen before the Rapture; but...

      (3) IF this other guy (http://the5993sign.com/) is right about the calendar, then we might as well sell the pots and pans and sit in the living room staring up at the ceiling, but...

      (4) IF Usher's Creation date of 4004 BC is accurate, and IF the current Gregorian year is correct (2017) is correct, then we all missed the Rapture by years and years. Bummer.

It seems to me there's no Unity of the Spirit on the matter, so what's a guy or gal to do? Well, I don't know about you, but I'm going to be working in the kitchen, listening for a knock on the living room door, as I sing these and other similar songs (Ephesians 5:19):

    17. DJ,

I see our relationship with the Lord and our walk in the good works He has prepared for us differently but that’s okay. There’s my 2 cents on some of the things mentioned previously. Based on what I’ve experienced in my walk with Him so far and learned about His love, to me He’s not a severe husband whose ire and displeasure I must fear when He comes home, even if He won’t find some things in order. Nor is He a kind of strict “boss figure” to me. On the other hand, I’m aware that there’s no greater honor in the entire Creation than to let Him use my life for His purposes! That’s the most beautiful thing and truly the greatest honor, being involved and walking in His business! He is Almighty God who should be revered, I agree! Every time you get a real glimpse of Him you feel the intense need to praise and admire Him! Also, He’s so huge and so powerful I have no words to describe it. He has showed me a bit of “taste” of how powerful He is once, I believe it was a tiny speck of His vast power, fitting “my size” as a tiny human, and even that was incredibly formidable! The power of the Lord without His love would cause sheer terror. Good thing that He is a loving and merciful Dad toward His children. It’s a blessing that He showered me with His magnificent and extraordinary Love when I first met Him, I crave that Love ever since! He is The Love in Person. Experiencing that Love was the absolute highlight of my life, human love, any kind of warm emotion pale in comparison and I know that this is what awaits us in Heaven, in much-much-much greater measures. There won’t be any obstacles and limitations of this world and our sinful nature anymore. One more, actually the main reason for me to wait for and love His appearing. Lastly, keeping in mind that the Lord will return for us one day, probably in the near future, probably not, whatever time that will be, it helps me to keep my priorities straight; to focus on my walk with Him including walking in the good works He prepared for us. I assume, that’s the balanced state you intended for us to realize via your parable.

    18. “The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
      He will not always accuse,
      nor will he harbor his anger forever;
he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
      so great is his love for those who fear him;
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

As a father has compassion on his children,
      so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.”

      (Psalm 103:8-14)

    19. Nora, So amen to that! Thank you for the Psalm 103 refresher.
I didn't really understand DJ's little reminder of Aslan not being a tame lion as pertaining to those who are closely watching for Yeshua's return.

In that wonderful story, little Lucy Pevensie had no fear of Aslan's wrath as she loved him and was drawn to him, eagerly searching him out and ultimately standing guard over his dead body with her SISTER Susan while all the others prepared for a war, which could not be won anyway without the risen Aslan.
However Edmund, who betrayed Aslan and his brethren in pursuit of the goodies offered him by the witch's kingdom, even striking a deal to deliver to her his own brethren, had every reason to fear the wrath of Aslan.
Yet as per the above Psalm, Aslan forgave Edmund the betrayal and offered himself up to fulfill the witch's claim on the boy's life.
So if I were in this story, I'd certainly rather be Lucy, who even tho totally unsure of the outcome, stood guard thru the night, waiting and watching for that miracle she knew in her heart would come.
The day would be won, and all of the brethren saved, but at the end of the story, it was she that had a uniquely close relationship with Aslan.
So no, I did not get the point of that admonishment.
Much love to the Body as we continue to stand guard in our prayers and watchful longing. Even so, Lord, come quickly!

    20. Sheila,

Psalms is one of my favorite books in the Bible. Psalm 103 is also a fave within Psalms. I mean,

      “Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
      Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
      who forgives all your sins
      and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

      The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.”

He crowns us with love and compassion! We serve the most beautiful Person ever and as I mentioned, it is such an honor! I think so that our minds will be totally blown away when we’ll see Him face to face and finally recognize without our current limitations Who He really is!

You know what? There are a few sins of King David which the Word of God revealed to us: breaking up a marriage, fornication, murder. Yet, the Lord called him a man after His own heart. Think about it! It was the era of the Old Covenant and those crimes the king committed were all capital, punishable by death. Why did the Lord call him a man after His heart? I remember someone pointed it out that King David has always been inclined to acknowledge the Lord’s mercy and love! He often reflects on His wonderful love, graciousness, mercy in his psalms written by the leading of the Holy Spirit! There’s a reason why the Psalms are so refreshing and encouraging. So, I think this is the solution why King David, who committed so atrocious sins, was a man after the Lord’s heart. He is also an example of how the Lord chooses not to regard our sins. And again, this is the era of the Old Covenant. Btw, the Lord’s tender love and mercy are depicted several places through the Old Testament, He is really not changing. For example, as He covered Elijah with His hand on Mt. Horeb, protecting him from the might of His glory. And now, in the era of the New Covenant Christ’s blood is covering all our sins all the time. When someone is precious to you and you love them, you want to avoid hurting them or saddening them because of love, the same goes for asking forgiveness when you wronged them. I believe that the same is true regarding our relationship with the Lord.

    21. Nora, I've always looked at King David the same way and I think that another thing that made him a man after The Lord's own heart was that as he depended on the Lord for mercy, he reflected that mercy outwards to others. When he could have killed Saul and didn't and then the special account of searching out of Mephibosheth

    22. Cut myself off. Anyway, that account in 2 Sam. 9
reveals another telling reason why the Lord loved David as He did.
I do believe David, led by the Holy Spirit, has through the Psalms delivered us a beautiful view of the heart of Abba, Father. Another grand and gracious gift to help carry us through this life. Maranatha, Sister.

I remember reading this one (linked below) years ago, the story of King David and Mephibosheth as an example of the Lord pursuing and drawing people to Himself.

  41. I’d like to share some thoughts, a bit off topic. Our righteousness is imputed to us. It is imputed to us by the Lord Himself. It is not our own, the Lord imputes His very own righteousness to us. None of us can boast and none of us can elevate themselves above others when it comes to righteousness. In fact, our own righteousness (including our own efforts by our own strength) is nothing more but filthy rags to the Lord. The Ten Commandments point to Christ, our need of Him as our Savior. It points to our utter and total inability of even come a tiny bit of close to keep the Lord’s standards which is nothing less than being as perfect as He is. Maybe it’s needless to say that while we’re in this flesh, that won’t happen. It’s always His act and His credit, including the future redemption of our bodies.

    1. Amen! We obtain our righteousness through a legal declaration called justification which we receive only by faith in Jesus Christ who fulfilled the law yet took the wrath of God in our place for our sins so we could be forgiven, declared righteous, and gain access to the Father and His abundant grace.

"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. " Romans 5:1-2

Interesting to note I read last night how John MacArthur see's the phrase in verse 2 above "hope of the glory of God" as referring to heaven when we will truly experience the glory of God! It seems to me Paul was always "looking up" as well! : )

      Thanks for sharing Nora!

  42. Dear @all, I know I'm probably the one (or one of those) most keen on watching 'Nibiru' here in order to catch a glimpse of the "seven headed red fiery dragon" finally... You may check out the links I gave above too to judge for yourself how far we're in progress about Revelation 12:3-4 to approach verse 5 soon.

Now please check out THIS capture from Antarctic Division observatory Webcam, AUS 11/4/17 and if you are still in doubt about the biggest "War in Heaven NASA deception" well I don't know... (Youtube channels "Jeff P" and "Higher Truth Channel" also most recommended). This won't go on very much longer. The Matrix is crumbling. It's just too big to hide now.

    1. Annabel, I am with you on this stuff. It is happening. I was on my way home from town night before last and the moon started getting crazy. It was big and very orange and it was doing something like expanding and retracting, separating and melding. I haven't been there in a real long time, but it was like looking at it in a drunken state. I actually started to think I might be having a stroke or something, so I pulled over in the parking lot of this little old church house to catch my breath and when I looked up again, it was full bright and white like a big flashlight. One of the weirdest things I've ever seen. It obviously wasn't a stroke and I don't get drunk, but I'm wondering, does anybody else see this?! I believe this system is very close on us now, Sister.
Last night, we saw that movie Geostorm and they are showing us outright they have the technology to not only hide this as long as possible but to perform targeted weather warfare as well. Praise Yeshua for knowing He is
in control and has these PTB on a leash. Even so, Lord, come!

    2. Oh yeah Sheila: this "Geostorm" movie released RIGHT NOW... Oh what a coincidence! LOL :) When checking details on future events from Isaiah 24:19-20 recently (pole shift, crustal shift etc.) I went to watch "2012" again. Love it. It's called 'predicted programming' - Satan prepares the masses via Hollywood so that no one can blame him not having told them about things earlier. But we do have another promise from Matthew 24:25 too which is much more reliable. It's just from these recent information I can now solve the paradox of SEEING the 'dragon' standing before the woman (Rev12:4) and people on the other hand NOT NOTICING anything (Matth24:39). I couldn't bring these pieces together - until now! Stay blessed, much love XOXO

    4. Annabel, I have not been able to fully comprehend and follow the information regarding NASA deception and your webcam links? Can you explain it and how it applies to Biblical prophecy? I am not criticizing; I am just having trouble following.

I will add that the cultural obsession with aliens in the scientific community and popular culture seems to be opening a door for the devil to deceive. Simultaneously, we have all this conspiracy theory, some right, some wrong and it's going to get really challenging to know what's true. You seem to have a pulse on some of this stuff, so I am asking for your thoughts.

      Delete
    5. Dear Miguel, TY for your kind reply & questions! Indeed I think Rev12-sign is kind of 'multidimensional' in its extent. You have fixed constellations, moving planets, spiritual events as well as concrete action both of God and Satan up there (and on earth). So NASA is part of evolutionary science and humanity deception as far as the cover up of real heavenly bodies and 'action in space' is concerned. Satan tries to push his time limit Rev12:12 and make people think life goes on like normal. On the other hand, it is well known that the USAF develops weather control for decades now. They have an own program even called "Owning (!!) the Weather in 2025" (just google it for yourself). So Satan wants to control what only God can do! This is the "war in heaven" going on up there currently. For more insight just check out YouTube channels like EXPITALY / WSO / Jeff P / Higher Truth Channel / Planet X Physicist Claudia Albers (not all of them are Christian but doesn't matter for the information they provide with). It's a kind of a million pieces puzzle and it takes a while to combine but if you always have in mind its just always WAR BETWEEN GOD AND SATAN and nothing in between you can easily assort the pieces to one side or another good or evil. As far as "conspiracy" is concerned it is Satan (!) who wants people to make believe there is NONE. The bible in contrast is FULL OF CONSPIRACY from the very beginning! So yes indeed Christians do well to deal MORE with conspiracy theory to know the signs of the times. Satan is the one who wants to tell people that things are just "coincidential" and not being watched coherently. But Christians should know better. Much love, stay blessed! :)

  43. Guys and gals! If anyone needed more biblical evidence that Venus is in fact th reference Jesus was making, look at this quote from universe today,"The Greeks called the morning star PHOSPORUS, “the bringer of light”; and they called the evening star Hesperos, “the star of the evening”. A few hundred years later, the Hellenistic Greeks realized that Venus was actually a single object.

Now read 2 Peter 1:19 with the greek translation of morning star. Wow! Come Lord Jesus!

    2. Yes thank you Rob for this information! Just above I pointed out the different words for "morning star" or "day star" in Job 38:7 / 2 Peter 1:19 / Revelation 2:28 / Revelation 22:16 (the Greek terms are all different!) You're right, the planet VENUS is exclusively mentioned in 2 Peter.

This is an interesting article too: THE GREAT DELUSION NEARS... if you watch the video it just starts with VENUS rising on the screen and later the SETI speaker almost literally (!) quotes from Genesis 22:17 in minute 6:25-30 without knowing! Much blessings to you, MARANATHA!

    3. Hey Annabel. In watching that article, I was reminded of a conversation with my niece just this morning as I drove them to school. We were talking about AI.
I asked her to consider the irony of technology.

The Infallible created the fallible and now after 6000 years, the fallible has decided they are ready to create the Infallible.

Reminds of that old joke about the scientist who informs God that he can now create his own human being. God says knock yourself out. Scientist reaches down to grab some dirt and God says no, no, no!
      Get your own dirt.
Simple little joke, yet quite profound considering where we are now. Who'd a thunk it. Maranatha!

  44. Please continue your revelation 12 series as this mystery is not yet come into fulfillment and the thoughtfulness and research that you put into each posting is extremely valuable to all of us who do not have the time or insight. It is a worthy and noble venture and God will bless you.

Psalm 119:38 "Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear."

Are we to feel shame/anger when our concepts appear incorrect? NO! Let us not be like Jonah, who was angry with God for not destroying Nineveh after his warnings caused them to repent. We need to firmly hold onto Jesus's promise that HE WILL return...maybe not on Sept 23, maybe not on Nov 13...but HE WILL RETURN and I will be waiting and watching for HIM!

Be diligent. Stand firm. This is a matter of Everlasting Life or eternal death.

    Grace & Peace.

  45. Jesus tells us to watch and to look up. Why? Also, would Satan want us to watch? I am starting to think that these are two really valuable questions.

Regarding my first question. If watching wasn't important, Jesus would not have told us to. Accurately we have discerned that maintaining a balance between watching and working for the Lord can be tricky, but that it is doable and we serve a very loving Creator. As also noted above, watching helps us stay motivated, it helps us recognize the signs and encourages us. Not sure if anyone has noted, but it will also create a very clear punctuation mark right before, and after the rapture. Ponder that.

Let me explain: please forgive me for oversimplifying. I am just trying to make a point. If nobody was watching and did not have the Revelation sign to kick em in the spiritual keester, many would likely be cold or lukewarm. Imagine a bunch of lukewarm Christians being raptured. If God raptured them, many people left behind would be more confused than ever. Alternatively, if the lukewarm folks did not get raptured, they'd be somewhat confused about their own Christianity and there might be such a small number of people that were raptured that maybe it would have a minor impact. I personally would think God would want the rapture to be a striking, major event.

Secondly, perhaps there is even more to our watching. Watching is not a prerequisite to salvation, nor to rapture, but there are parables and verses that criticize not watching.

It seems the devil does not want us to watch. Maybe he benefits if we do not watch. He knows we will bear fruit as we prepare. He knows that we will take more with us as we speak the truth. He knows his impact in the last days will be smaller if during the tribulation there are millions of people who saw the rapture just after many watchful Christians told them it was about to happen. He knows that the ones left behind will know to look in the Bible instead of to the news where he will have his greatest impact. This is a spiritual battle, and the devil is a deceptive crafty anti-christian, if I may.

Lastly, always consider the possibility of things we have not been told. Sometimes we are not allowed to know why when we are told to do or not do something. All I know is that we are told to watch and to look up. This obviously is a way of saying be ready, but there may be more to it, so don't quit watching. I will keep watching until He returns or until I die whichever comes first, and I am in my forties, so I am prepared to watch for many years if necessary.

    1. AMEN again Sheila, Gwen & Miguel always watching does not mean we can't go about daily chores work, etc . And the majority of us I'm sure have no choice we have to go work , we have to have money for food , shelter etc. BUT, always and everyday aware of how close we are. As for the reference to Aslan not being a tame lion - he was to the people who loved him and wanted to be with him. Yes, we realize when the Lion roars it won't be a pretty picture for the people left here, we just pray we can take as many as we can with us in the rapture and pray for some mercy for the ones left . knowing all the while that GOD is not willing that ANY should perish- but he gives YOU the choice. Even knowing what's to befall on earth shortly - come LORD JESUS .

  47. I first need to apologize, as this won't be as detailed as I'd like, due to time pressures and obligations. Second, this is not intended to disrespect anyone, or the research they've put into this difficult excercise in attempting to discern exactly how God is trying to lead us; I have the greatest respect for ALL who are attempting to sincerely and humbly understand what we are seeing, and how it all fits together. That said, I think perhaps the Lord has made the tree in front of me move in such a way that I am able to get a better view of the forest, as it were.

I am not an "expert" in all this; just an interested observer - but I think I see that we are missing something glaringly obvious, and that is this: the sky signs are just that - SIGNS. Nothing more. Remember Genesis 1:14 -

"And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to divide between the day and the night. And let them be for SIGNS ("oth": a signal (literally or figuratively), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc.: - mark, miracle, (en-) sign, token...), and for seasons ("mo'ed": properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season; specifically a festival...), and for days and years."

I think all that we see in the sky was designed to be like a "billboard", in order to get our attention. Recall that the important events in the Bible happened on God's set CALENDRICAL dates - which do not (to my knowledge) coincide with the signs in the sky "announcing" the COMING of those events. Therefore, I expect every sign in the sky that we see will never indicate a concurrent earthly event.
Remember: signs PRECEDE events. If you are driving along a road, you will see numerous signs - but they are calling attention to something that's to come, not something right at the same location as the sign (for the most part).

I believe that whatever date is suggested that a sign appears (a conjunction of planets or a certain location of a planet in a certain constellation) as being a possible rapture date will ALWAYS be wrong. I think we need to focus on the important dates that the Lord has instituted on the calendar, if we want to have a good idea of the timing of the rapture. My suspicion is that Pentecost (next May) is the best candidate.
I think the whole "Rapture on the Feast of Trumpets" supposition has always been wrong (but I could be wrong on that). I DO believe Jesus will fulfill the "Fall Feasts" with the same precision that He fulfilled the "Spring Feasts", at His crucifixion, burial, and resurrection - but I don't think His return (to Earth, after the 7-year Tribulation) has to be ON the Feast of Trumpets (though it certainly could be).

I say this because I want to try to help us avoid the disappointment and confusion that has dogged us this year as each sign has occurred, and passed, with no expected rapture.

Again, this is just my opinion, and it remains to be seen if it's valid. We should not bemoan the fact that the rapture has not yet happened - do we not ALL have unsaved loved ones? Do we not understand the vicious horrors of the SEVEN-YEARS LONG Tribulation? Do we wish for our friends to suffer the worst time in human history?
Brothers and sisters, let us rejoice that we serve a God of immeasurable patience and mercy - and let us INTENSIFY our witness to the lost!
