Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord (ie. the tribulation period) will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. As a type this we are only about 40 days away from September.   It seems that we have entered into another end of the year countdown similar to what we experienced in 2017.  Anticipation is building again, and now we have the benefit of a world that waking up. Hello dear brothers and sisters.  Hoping and praying that our loving FATHER is keeping you and yours safely in His grip during the last few weeks.  Of course we know that He is, so I guess I should pray that you and yours can FEEL the Fathers loving grip around you... protecting, guiding and shielding you from the encroaching darkness that seems to be trying to normalize itself in our lives. I remember way back when, before this blog, before meeting all of you and seeing all we have seen I wrote something to Dan Matson.  In it I remember sharing about how when I think of  all that God is doing, when I ponder these signs and how they indicate just how closer we could be to being in heaven and experiencing His glory firsthand, when I think about all that I can almost feel my feet lifting off the ground already.  Almost as if the rapture is just a moment away and my body is already being pulled up toward him.  How each care of this life that formerly weighed...

Hello Everyone... We are on a family vacation currently but I want to get a new post up for us.  As I sat here contemplating what to share, I was led back to the basics.  About 3 years ago I worked with Adam Fink on the following videos.  We first made the 5 minute video, then shortly later came out with the 3 minute one.  I remember after doing the 5 minute version telling him that we needed to do a shorter one....  Which was hard because there was so much info we had to fit in.  But with people's short attention span, we just felt like getting under that 3 minute mark would cause a lot more people to click.  You wouldn't think that 2 minutes would make that much of difference, but now I see that the 3 minute video has 3 times the views!!!  Anyway, with so much disruption in the world, so much anticipation and anxiousness in our hearts at times, well I find it comforting to revisit the basics.... and these to videos do that for me.  I hope t...

JD Faraq is clear. His urgency is ramped up as high as it has ever been. In his words... "We are out of time." We need to share Jesus with those around us who are not awake to what it coming.... The video above is the latest from George at "The Return of the King" YT channel. In it he makes a very basic, but logical connection between the heavens 3 major time markers in history: Christ's Birth, Rev 12 Sign, and Christ's Future Return at the end of the Tribulation. Obviously the 3rd one is speculative, but I think you will see that in this short 5 minute video he makes a very logical case that the sky's match at all three. I thought it was so encouraging in light of all the disruptive events we have seen recently:   Perspective One change in perspective can make a world of difference. We've been talking about the events related to Covid-19, the staggering unemployment numbers, the horrible death of George Floyd, and the ensuing nationwide riots that have been taken place. How does all of this fit into Bible prophecy you ask? In 2 Timothy 3:1, Paul said, "Mark this. There will be terrible (brutal, dangerous, scary) times in the last days." One of the other qualities Paul mentioned in the list that followed his opening line is lawlessness. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 informs us that "the secret power of lawlessness is already at work." That passage goes on to say that this lawlessness will come into full bloom after the rapture. Lawlessness will characterize the world and the future antichrist after the rapture of the Church...

Shelia sent me the following video from Ty Green and would like to share it with you all for comment. I am about 35 minutes in and was very very impressed with his presentation on the Rev 12 Sign. The fact that he has such a good grasp on what has happened in the sky so far gives me increased hope that his theory on how the rest of the story will play out! I know there is a lot going on right now, but for me, when things get out of control I am comforted by looking up and seeing the stars and how they display his glory and reveal his plan of redemption! He started those stars in motion a long time ago, and now everything is lining as a warning that we are so so close to going home! Lastly, I just want to share something my wife saw online from a friend yesterday morning. It said: "Just looking outside to see what chapter of Revelation we are in today!" Made me smile. : )

George from the Return of the King channel has a very interesting timeline video he has put up.  If the rapture should occur in 2020, there are a lot of dates that line up in the coming years that fit with the day counts listed in Daniel. Day counts that land on Holy Days on the Jewish calendar such as Yom Kippur in 2027 and the mid point lands on the day of the 2nd solar eclipse the X's out America in 2024.... Stephanie Dawn posted an awesome article last night in which she harvested several insights about what the rapture will be like, hopefully something we all experience first hand very soon.  I especially loved how she shared 20 or 21 different Bible passages on the subject...each of them giving us clues on what to expect. Stephanie covers many of the standard questions, but I really liked her section titled:  One Last Opportunity to Witness?  Upon close examination of scripture, Stephanie, like others of us have come to the conclusion that the standard narrative of being raptured and glorified does not necessarily have to happen at the same instant.  Perhaps, we will be like glorified first, and then the rapture will follow some time afterwards, how long, well the general idea is usually from a few hours (Stephanie's view) on up to possibly 40 days (like Jesus after his resurrection).   I for one am not sure, and doubt any of us will be worried much about ...

Ok, if you are like me you notice patterns, especially patterns related to the Bible. It seems that God has a way of using patterns and templates of past events to give us a clue on how future events will play out. One such event that people have noticed is the pattern of the Exodus. This post will not be an exhaustive recap on how we are seeing this pattern play out, but another specific example of this pattern that I just noticed this evening... This picture above is from our families actual refrigerator. What you will notice is a stack of mile containers. This isn't even all of what we have stacked in there. The reason we have so many is that our local schools all switched over to remote schooling (from home). To help supplement families, they have daily lunch pick-ups from the school parking lot each day. You drive up, hold fingers indicating how many kids you have, and they proceed to bring you meals (including 2 milks each) for each child - for that day. It is an a...

All, my dear brother Gary posted a video about a week ago that I want to make sure gets shared as it should. He has such a down to earth way of teaching and depth of knowledge that his views are always worth considering. Most of all for me, he has such a tender heart toward God and is so receptive to God's nudges, that gives Gary extra bonus points in my book...  Many teachers have a lot of knowledge, but not all of them are humble, tender hearted and receptive to the still small voice of God. As I was laying in bed this morning shortly after waking up, I was catching up on a few sites. I was led to check out Lyn Melvin's latest blog post , and as I was still laying in bed, just a paragraph in as she describes the birth imagery, it finally hit me what this whole Covid-19 lockdown is.... BED REST ! We are waiting for the birth of the man child from Rev 12-5, and now The Woman (Israel, and the born again believers connected with Christ (us) are all at home waiting. There is a lot going on right now.  Lots of videos showing clear signs that evil is about to take center stage once the restrainer is soon removed regarding the mark of the beast , etc. Astronomical signs continuing, most notable Venus (brighter than ever) meeting up the Pleiades in a very clear representation of Christ coming for His Church. Barry Scarborough had a video this morning about how there was the most earthquakes ever in a 24 hour period (or something like that)…. Just unbelievable stuff is happening.  But the following video is what I would like to share.... This tender video gave me so much encouragement.... it's basically just news stories from around the country showing how GOD is getting praise and glory during this time, especially through our beloved healthcare workers.
