VP Pence's Speech in Israel

A well written article about Mike Pence's speech in Israel yesterday was put together by Frontpage (Vice President Pence's Eloquent Speech to Israel’s Parliament). I encourage you to check it out to see the Biblical tone Pence shared the Jews yesterday and the type of reaction it received from Israel's enemies (including a significant disruption at the beginning). It is amazing that we have a devout Christian man speaking these words to the Jews at a time such as this....How many years coming are these words...  think of all that had to happen to make this possible.  God is surely on the move!

I will also post a link to the full transcript below along with a video.

Here is an excerpt from his speech:
“The Jewish people held fast to a promise through all the ages, written so long ago, that even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there He would gather and bring you back to the land which your fathers possessed. Through a 2,000-year exile, the longest of any people, anywhere, through conquests and expulsions, inquisitions and pogroms, the Jewish people held on to this promise, and they held on to it through the longest and darkest of nights.”

  2. Thank you Brad very much! I've read attantively this speech. This is a true Christian sermon, in my opinion. I will not be surprised that after such a speech many will believe and turn to the Lord! It's the very time now, a few seconds before we leave home. Ps 150:6. Much blessings to all! Maranatha!

    1. Dear Alla, I've read the transcript but I couldn't find anything "Christian" about the INTERFAITH passage of Abraham here where 3 "religions" claim to be based in Gods promise of Genesis 15:5-6. You can't in fact call this "Christian" without Jesus' words to the Jews about their attitude towards Abraham in John 8:39-40. Sorry. This was a political speech, not a sermon. We've got to stay realistic and sober IMO. No offense. Blessings, dear sister! :)

PS: As far as this ever repeated number of "6 million Jews" is concerned I would like to point out some interesting Holocaust question video (click!) that you might find pretty controversial but yet worth pondering. I'm not ready to believe anything just because it is constantly repeated for 70 years now in the media hammering my brain with in school and books or in speeches like this one by Mike Pence. That's not "Christian" either. That's called a brainwash.

    2. Yes, dear Annabel, you're absolutely right, thank you very much. Of course, this speech is political, not strictly Christian. But he is a politician, and he did not speak from the pulpit before the Christian audience. My thought here was that he claims to be a Christian, and he was sincere in it, as I suppose. Strictly speaking, none of us is in itself righteous before the Lord. Rom 3:10-11. I mean here that his speech was built according to a certain plan and there was a lot of Biblical history in it. I didn't find any contradiction with the Scriptures. Perhaps I am wrong. In any case, it's worth to think about. For example he said:
"it is deeply humbling for me… privilege here in Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel." This is the good beginning, I think.
"promise through all the ages, written so long ago, that “even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens," from there He would gather and bring you back to the land which your fathers possessed."
"It was here, in Jerusalem, on Mount Moriah, that Abraham offered his son, Isaac, and was credited with righteousness for his faith in God."
"It was here, in Jerusalem, that King David consecrated the capital of the Kingdom of Israel."
"Nearly 4,000 years ago, a man left his home in Ur of the Chaldeans to travel here, to Israel. He ruled no empire, he wore no crown, he commanded no armies, he performed no miracles, delivered no prophecies, yet to him was promised “descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky.”"
"And today and every day, the Jewish State of Israel, and all the Jewish people, bear witness to God’s faithfulness, as well as your own. … The miracle of Israel is an inspiration to the world."
"And so we will “pray for the peace of Jerusalem,” that “those who love you be secure,” that “there be peace within your walls, and security in your citadels.” This is Ps 122:6-7.
"everyone who calls this ancient land their home shall sit “under their vine and fig tree, and none shall make them afraid.” This is Mica 4:4
And he prayed at the very end: " I say from my heart: May God bless the Jewish people, may God bless the State of Israel and all who call these lands their home, and may God continue to bless the United States of America."
Sorry for so long outline, I would say also about peace:
"Under President Trump, the United States of America remains fully committed to achieve a lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians."
Therefore it's really 1Thes 5:3. We are going home! Come Lord! Maranatha!

    3. Alla, thank you very much. Of course the speech was geo-politically motivated, but it was made at this specific time with those specific Biblical words for a reason. You can bet the farm on that. And Pence’s delays in getting there were for a reason. The Lord is paving the way for the fulfillment of His Words. It was a monumental speech in that regard and the effects will soon be seen. Yes, we must be going home very very soon!
      Blessings, Sister!

  3. Dear @all, it seems to be pretty clear from Pence's speech that this man CANNOT be a "Christian". He wouldn't have made this INTERFAITH statement about Abraham if he was a true follower of Christ. Nor would he be engaged in politics at all to become USVP I suppose = John 18:36 ...

For your training of discernment, here's another good Omegaletter article by Pete Garcia 22/1 "Trump: God's man of the hour" to be able to really BIBLICALLY discern a true child of God from a mere "confessor" of Christ who claims to be one of us but in fact the LORD doesn't know him at all.

This is a POLITICAL matter that must fulfill Gods PLAN for Israel and set the stage for tribulation period now but it is not a "Christian" one.

    1. Annabel, very good article. TY. That’s what I was saying above about our God using these political figures to further His purpose. And as they see themselves as good Christians, perhaps as the article indicated, they are more easily influenced toward His agenda. Personally, I’ve never thought a true, uncompromising Christian could ever be successful in the world’s political arenas. The nature of the beast just doesn’t allow for it.
If one is not willing to at least lie and manipulate, it’d be a tough road to advance on. For the average voting person, it seems the choice has always been between the lesser of two evils.
      Blessings, Sister!

    2. Sheila beloved, this new Paul Begley video on Trump's warm welcome (!!) at Davos 1/25 might be interesting for you as well then! LOL :)) Together with what he just posted an instant before about Merkel and her remarks on the NWO these are very very good news for all of us now: IT'S TIME FOLKS, JESUS IS ON HIS WAY!! HALLELUJAH!! :=D ohhh... I hardly can wait now...

    3. Sisters, I'm on the opinion that judging a person's spiritual state aka *are they belonging to the Lord or not (aka saved or not saved, "true Christian" or not) is the sole territory of the Lord! We can judge the actions of people but not the persons themselves, only the Lord knows who belongs to Him.

    4. (More precisely… if Mr. Pence claims to be a Christian, only the Lord knows what’s in his heart. Plus, I remembered one of Brother Todd’s (It Is Finished YT channel) stories. He said that he used to have judgmental thoughts about a rocker guy (I remember so that he said this guy was one of the members of the band Corn) and years later he’s seen that guy (on tv maybe) talking about Jesus and he regretted his previous thoughts about that guy.)

    5. Nora, I respect fully disagree. If you read through 1st letter of John and/or Jude ALONE you will know what the apostles teach (and not only in these letters). 1 John 2:19

    6. The order from 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 could never be properly obeyed and a false brother never identified inside the body of Christ if we would follow your advice, Nora...

    7. “But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.” (1 Corinthians 5:11)

In my opinion the point of 1 Corinthians 5 is about revoking fellowship from brothers and sisters in Christ who without regret continue in these above mentioned things (should I say in extreme ways perhaps), while continuously keep ignoring and not heading any sound, solid and loving correction (which always should happen in a Christ-like manner). The purpose of revoking fellowship is discipline not rejection!!! Plus, I clearly remember another admonition which says that the revoking of fellowship can’t be kept for too long to avoid any adverse effect. Concerning the above mentioned verses and letter (1 John) I find no validation for a finger pointing attitude! Also, there’s another issue. In the letters of the apostles there’s a lot of warning against false teachers who teach *another Gospel* and are denying that Jesus is the Christ, that’s again another issue not to be mixed with immature/sinful behaviors of believers which need Holy Spirit led brotherly correction. Lastly, I keep thinking of the Sermon on the Mount and the Lord’s standards… when you’re angry at someone you’re guilty of murder and when you happen to have a lustful thought you’re an adulterer. Who among us is clear of any sexually impure/angry/envious thoughts, or who stopped having any greedy impulses or who stopped immediately adoring their fave singers/actors or even their pastors (!) after becoming saved? I think that this is one of the topics and issues where someone has to be especially careful, always asking for wisdom and the leading of the Holy Spirit (just like in the case of any other thing).

    8. Grammar correction: “clean of…” (not clear of)

One last thing that I forgot to add is the fact that a lot of born again believers are struggling with various addictions. Deliverance doesn’t always happen right after the moment of salvation. As the Lord Jesus said, we can’t do anything without Him and leaning on the leading of the Holy Spirit is always crucial, especially in cases when a Christian believer needs to decide when to revoke fellowship from a brother or sister in Christ for discipline. In many cases brotherly support is greatly needed in the battle of addictions (like substance abuse). Cultural “name only” Christians needs their eyes to be opened by the Holy Spirit. Also, cases exist when someone pretends to be a Christian believer for whatever gain that exist in their minds and under the leading of the Holy Spirit that has to be confronted too in a Christ-like manner. But the purpose of all of this should be to lead these people to salvation. So the aim is reconciliation not condemnation since Jesus came into this world to reconcile and save lives, not to condemn. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” (John 3:17)

    9. Nora, I understand what you are saying about it not being our jobs to determine whether anyone is saved or will be saved. You are absolutely right in that regard. All I have to do is look at myself to know that and I try to do that everyday. What I am speaking to above is those who, Christian identity or not, choose to operate governmentally within what we know to be an evil world system. I’ve just never seen an uncompromising politician advance to higher office. It takes too much money (millions and billions of $) and too many favors from TPTB. I would love to see a Daniel or a Joseph surface in our time, but I haven’t seen that foretold in Scripture and at this point in time I only know to look to Jesus Christ to fix anything. I do pray for these elected officials to submit to God’s will and be used of Him and they will, whether gladly or not, but I look at TPTB/world system with a different lens than I do the average fallen person like myself. When the officials publicly recognize the anti-Christ religions as legitimate in an attempt to keep the peace with them, that is a political compromise. The irony is, there is no compromise on the part of evil. They will kill you first.
While we are to love our enemies and pray for them to seek Jesus, nothing will ever be right until He comes. I love your heart, Sister:-)
Many Blessings as we look up for That Great Day!

I agree, Sheila! I also think that we can only pray for them, for the Lord's will be done.

"I love your heart, Sister :-)" Awww thank you! *BIG HUGS*

    11. Christian? I think he's the false prophet pushing Trump to be Israel's false messiah that will rebuild the temple. Pretty obvious when you look at the head with the mortal wound. That head represents Christianity or more specifically the evangelical church that's largely creating this Beast. The Mark thing? 666 is the perfect man being worshipped as God. True or not, Pense's goal is that everyone receive that or believe that and it's not on the forehead. More like in. Buy or sell thing is sanctions and the Church has been threatening everyone with eternal torture and wiping out cultures that didn't worship the false messiah. It's all right there.

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
