15 Signs of His Imminent Return - Jan Markell
Hello all... If you haven't caught it yet, Jan Markell did a video laying out 15 signs she believes point to the fact that we are likely the generation that see's Christ return. As you probably know, she was unfortunately one of the voices opposing the Revelation 12 Sign, but I still believe she is a good prophecy teacher despite missing it on that huge one. Anyway, if she has 15 we all have at least 16 then and should be even more excited than she is!

- You noted the rise of wickedness, but I wanted to point out the significant rise in acceptance (and protection) of homosexuality in particular.
I agree with you Through & Through as to the homosexuality issue. When the U.S. approved homosexual marriage I thought that was a turning point. And, it helped lead to the transgender movement and then the gender identity push taking place even with our very young children. This is so heart-achingly tragic to me.

Brad, you do know He is speaking to the Northern Kingdom there and we must differentiate between the Northern Kingdom which was already apostate at the time and was sent into the Diaspora, never to return as an entity. They came against the tribes of Judah and Benjamin (Judah) and were punished in captivity and removal from the land. When those tribes return it will be to be a part of the God ordained nation of Israel. What we see in the Middle East is not yet God Ordained Israel, but it is the beginning. When God is finished, by the end of the Tribulation, only 1/3 will remain, all the tribes will be represented and it will be the Godly Remnant. They have returned apostate and will finish a Godly nation with faith in Christ. The fully renewed Godly Israel will be seen only in The Millennial Kingdom with all their land restored and fellowship with each other and Christ as their King. Blessings - Sherry

DeleteI would say here very briefly – we need to be very careful about the fate of Israel. The name of God is on Israel, from it's very beginning. That's why thier defeat is simply impossible.

Ps 23:3 (KJV): "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." And many other Scriptures. The Lord will fulfill! Period.
And what about us? Have we achieved everything already? This is His mercy only on us, and the Holy Spirit makes our work useful and successful. Rom 7:24-25.
It's interesting for me, what is our problem in the Bible study and interpretation.

Dear Alla, good to hear from you again! I very much hope you're well and healthy (again?) so you've been missed already. Yes of course you're right, God WILL fulfill His plan for Israel, Judah and Jerusalem in the end (Zechariah 12). No doubt about that, even if it might seem the contrary now and during the coming tribulation period. But that's why it's called "Jacobs TROUBLE". It all will work out for GODS GLORY in the end. But about what we are wating for, I disagree a bit, we are waiting to go home, all the signs show this at first, and then the Lord will be free to judgement and punishment. We are at the very door! DeleteNo, Brad, I am not a follower of Herbert Armstrong and his cursed ramblings. The Covenants and Promises to Israel remain with Israel and will always be so. There is no replacement for Israel. I have no clue where the "true" Israelites are, but I can assure you God does so I don't have to worry about it. He said he will bring them back and He has begun that task. It will not be completed until the end of the Tribulation, but I don't have to worry about that either, because God's got it. He already knows who is and is not Israel, where they are and when everything occurs and He really doesn't need my help or conjecture. You may rest assured, no interlopers will take their place or deceive their way into the Kingdom. Blessings, Sherry

DeleteI loved Jan's presentation very much, unfortunately there was one point missing (I already mentioned that in the last thread section) which is the HEAVENLIES, especially Revelation 12:3-4 the "red dragon" system approaching very fast now since 9/23 and very much visible for everybody (Luke 21:26).
ReplyDeleteJust yesterday 3/7 I went for a long walk with my husband during app. 2-5 pm in the afternoon and we would notice at least 5-7 different light sources on the horizon in each direction (!! whereever we looked, South, East, West or North!) PLUS the sun simulator high above our heads (still the entrance angle much too high for March if this should have been the real sun but with plain white light). There were dramatic looking dark grey and white mix of rain (probably chemtrail) clouds all over with the light sources behind and shining through: A complete apocalyptic scenery, and it was plain afternoon daylight in Germany!
To catch up with videos, I recommend the latest EXPITALY channel video of 3/7 which has also been greatly captured by Against the Grain channel on 2/28 (Sunrise Nibiru system) location Five / Scotland this app. 15 minute footage even shows how a possible electromagnetic impulse causes disturbance on the webcam during the filming. If you still haven't watched strange skies and additional light sources in your own neighborhood you should definitely keep an eye on this. It cannot be hidden from your sight - either you don't leave the house ever or you aren't really watching out (and perhaps at the false time?). But if these planetary bodies can even be seen at my place in plain daylight now you should have noticed them at your place too, whereever you live on the globe. Remember: sunlight can only have ONE source - the SUN. If you see another light source in another direction as the sun is supposed to be according to daytime, it CANNOT be the sun as our solar system has had only one ever. MARANATHA, Jesus is coming for his bride! :=D

DeleteI was out looking at the moon the other night. It had risen orange in color but by midnight was nearly full and bright white, but there was another still orange one sitting behind and just above it. I tried to take a pic but all I could get was the bright white with crazy rays shooting out from it. Very unnatural. I think it was a simulator but wondered what the purpose was. Hard to tell what we are looking at anymore.
I wish the Body could all come together on the whole panorama of prophetic signs and fulfillments and just admit others might be seeing or getting a part of it that
we didn’t catch. It’s
a long Wall, so I’m guessing that’s the point of Rom.12.
I just know it’s here and flashing like a worldwide neon sign and we will all soon be standing in complete agreement from the Divine point of view.

DeleteGreg, similar to your feelings, I have difficulty watching Jan anymore. I believe I've gotten over most, though not all, of the feelings of betrayal from the group that banned together to mock the Rev 12 sign and those who saw it so clearly as important. However, I now have trouble putting credence into their teachings for they have yet to acknowledge their unwillingness to look with an open mind or heart and seek the Lord in this area and to show any element of repentance for their wrong treatment of those who watched.
DeleteThis is my point, if they can be so blind to something so huge, why should I trust their judgement on anything? They have seemingly taken a position of "having it all figured out" and dismissing anyone who should offer new information, new insights into scripture or alternative explanations of what has become "accepted dogma". That is the opposite of a teachable spirit to me and I am wary of those who believe God cannot or will not shed new light and understanding in these end times and who can so clearly dismiss a written instruction to see the signs in the sky. I have no problem with differing interpretations, but just to place a block on discussion - that I can't grasp. Offer a different viewpoint, fine, but don't say don't look when God said to look.
Still struggling with this one.

Do not worry brothers and sisters. Thomas was a doubter and our good and loving Lord and Saviour didn't just say take a look at my scars, He said put your fingers in my wound. I wonder if the wound still hurt? Jesus would have allowed regardless.
DeleteIf we are correct, it is only a matter of time before these doubters of Revelation 12 sign have to face the reality and damage of the dragon's tail. At that point, I am pretty sure all true believers will recognize the validity of the sign. That is just my humble opinion.
Regarding these doubters who have criticized us for looking at the stars and the alignment of the planets, they have gone a step further than doubt. They have criticized and mocked us. My friends, this must be forgiven too. Which of us has this all figured out and which of us is without sin? Keep your discernment ready for false prophets, but hold on to the grace and mercy which Christ has demonstrated. My love to you brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
Sherry, I take her observations like I take any other news or analysis. I don't even really know if she's my sister if she mocked the Rev12-watchers so much (which was hurting indeed). But her observations are correct - and there are still even more of NON-Christians truthers out there that get the signs of the times often better than the church! I don't follow her ministry at all but these two guest presentations at JD Farags church were really good and timely IMO. I don't bother much about her as far as she's not promoting a false gospel but only dealing with endtimes signs and the NWO. Blessings to you! :)

I certainly have been clearly shown just because someone has a blind spot in one area, there is much to be learned from them. I loved and followed Jan's ministry for years and so it was particularly hurtful and incomprehensible to me. As Miguel pointed out, not just the disbelief, I don't have a problem with that, but the failure to listen, to research and to honestly seek to understand. It felt very Nicolaitan to me and that's my own problem and I'll take it to the cross and leave it there because its not doing anyone any good with me carrying it around in my little pity pouch. DeleteI did not hear Jan's remarks concerning the Revelation 12 sign even though I do watch her videos regularly, so I cannot comment on that, but although I believe the Revelation 12 sign was valid, my understanding differs from those of most if not all of yours. I believe the scripture is very clear that the male child who is caught up to the throne of God is Jesus. The church is the bride - female, not male. I think it takes a lot of biblical "Twister" in order to see the male child as the church, just as the the pre-trib rapture theory does. If Jesus wanted us to know he would be coming to rapture us before the tribulation and the rule of the anti-christ, don't you think he would have mentioned it? He was very specific in the scriptures regarding the end times season and signs and NOT ONE mention of a pre-trib rapture. If the Revelation 12 sign is telling the story of Jesus, then there aren't many more dots to twist or contort on to make this interpretaion fit. The passages in Thessalonians are anything but clear and concise as to who the cast of characters are and can very easily be interpreted in any way that supports our own position and belief.

In regard to the comments about Jan not agreeing to the sign obviously being God's sign of Rev 12, I believe the Lord has simply blinded some, even prophecy students/teachers to certain signs and had revealed it to us by His grace. It has to be that God is intentional in doing this so that no one can boast and the body as individual parts can work together as one. I firmly believe that there won't be full revelation by any one individual until the two witnesses begin preaching. Get excited for life in incorruption with our Lord and savior and our enormous true spiritual family in heaven and the coming kingdom! Love y'all,
Delete@Unknown, it might be not too hard to find much evidence even on this webpage (try the key word search) to prove a PRE-trib rapture as well as the 'male child' = church (and NOT Jesus) from scriptures. Perhaps you've been not following all along since last year but you should know that Brads website here contains plenty of BIBLICAL evidence for both topics. Just go on searching and learning, I cannot start to explain from the very beginning what even so many prominent bible prophecy teachers throughout the ages have proven. ReplyDeleteI keep wondering, for those who have been paying attention to prophetic fulfillment for more than a few years, how much more fulfillment are we seeing now than we were years ago? Are there any good metrics/charts/statistics showing the difference between now and in the past?
Ha! Funny. Years ago, me and my husband wanted to make notes of certain "data" to look after the fulfillment of the 'to do prophecies' (that were still to be fulfilled like e.g. Isaiah 17) but we soon gave up, it just was too much to handle and look after. :D

I’ve been studying and watching it pretty relentlessly for over 20 years since the mid 90’s and to me it’s like the difference between a steady pleasure cruise and a high speed race. I’ve never charted it specifically but just looking back over my library, I know they can’t write books near fast enough to keep up. They are outdated by the time they hit the shelf. That’s how it feels to me anyway.

March 11, we reset the clocks on the 70th day of the year, Florida has just voted to make it permanent. I didn’t know it was instituted in 1942 to conserve energy during war time.

I think we could sum up the difference between “now” & “then” like this. If you don’t watch/read a prophecy update the day it comes out, it’s old news the next day. It used to be be that an event would happen, and we might talk about it for months/weeks. There are just so many things happening so quickly now.

This channel is not at all Christian but this is not necessary to show plain evidence of brown dwarfs in different colors being the reason for coloring our skies = Matthew 16:2-3 . ReplyDeleteThe fulfillment of the Rev 12 Sign on 9-23-2017 cannot possibly be referring to the birth of Jesus. This interpretation is absolutely and undeniably excluded by simply reading the text in Revelation 1:1 and 1:19. In both these verses John and Jesus clearly articulate that Revelation is written about events future to its writing in 90 AD; NOT about past events (before 90 AD)! This clearly refutes your interpretation or both John and Jesus were mistaken.

Sinai – 14th of Tammuz – June 27 3. God appeared on Mt. Sinai – 17th of Tammuz – June 30 4. 1st victory in Promised Land (Jericho) - 15th – 21st of Nisan - March 31 – Apr 6 5. Jesus arrived on earth (born) – 2nd week of Tammuz – June 21 -27 6. Jesus crucified – morning of Passover - 14th of Nisan – March 30 7. Jesus resurrected – Easter Sunday - 16th of Nisan – April 1 8. Jesus ascended to heaven – 40-days after resurrection – May 10 9. Holy Spirit came to disciples – Pentecost - 50-days after resurrection – May 20 10. Israelites declared a new nation (1948) – 5th of Iyar (solar -May 14) – April 20 (May 14) 11. Israelites re-unified Jerusalem (1967) – 28th of Iyar (solar -June 7) – May 13 (June 7) Note: I just realized that 1948 and 1967 are equivalent years on the Metonic cycle (because they are 19 years apart). That’s interesting because they were both significant Israeli victories (thus victories for God). If you keep adding 19, to find more equivalent years (i.e. 1986, 2005, 2024), then you eventually get to 2024. That’s interesting because 2024 is the projected year for Armageddon (if the rapture happens in 2018 -see below), which is a significant victory for Jesus, and thus God, on another Metonic cycle equivalent year. Note: Possible 70th anniversary scenario: Abomination/rapture (2018) + 2300 days = re-consecration of the sanctuary (Daniel 8:13-14), after Armageddon (2024)

As for the person of the Antichrist… The exact timing of the Gog-Magog war(s) remains to be unknown (and debated). However, it is clear from Scripture that the leader of the Gog-Magog coalition armies will die in the confrontation on the mountains of Israel when the Lord defends Israel and he will be buried there. The AC and the False Prophet will be thrown alive into the Lake of Fire when the Lord returns at His Second Coming, so -imo- the leader of the Gog-Magog armies and the AC aren’t the same person.

DeleteHey Nora. TY for asking. All of the critters are fine. Well, Rocket’s been under fire from a rather nasty old neighbor Tomcat from hell this weekend. I had to throw a bucket of water on them Saturday to break up a vicious fight on my deck. I wish Rocket could just whip him one good time but they are apparently equally matched. Times like that I miss having my big ol’ lab/chow dog, Sinbad. He passed away a few years ago at age 15. We all cried like babies the day we buried him. These little guys are noisy but that devilcat would likely mop the floor with all four of them:-D

The spiritual man is able to judge everything you know, this is scripture. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 if you didn't know yet you may learn it today. I can tell the same thing about Charles Darwin who led millions of innocent school kids astray to follow satanic evolutionary blasphemy and helped the enemy to fill hell with countless souls. Hawking had god-given genius and time enough (about 50 years) to recognize Gods miracle in his life in spite of his disease, I do feel no pity at all. His books and blasphemous theories about the universe made people blaspheme God themselves. He will be in the place he deserves now. Looking forward to judgement day: Matthew 5:6 MARANATHA!

DeleteAnnabel, I understand and agree with your disgust at wickedness. I agree that people who do not put their trust in Jesus Christ will be forever damned. I agree that the Bible does give us the right and command to discern whether someone speaks and acts wickedly:
Stephen Hawking preached information that is contrary to the word of God even to the point of denying the existence and authority of God. Proverbs says the beginning of wisdom is fear of God. Stephen did not fear God, so he was not wise. He was in fact wicked.
I do not agree with gloating in a sinners death and neither does God. Ezekiel 33:11 and 18:23,32. 1 Corinthians 13:5-7. Love says, just maybe Stephen in his last moments changed his heart, and love says he deserves the same grace, mercy and forgiveness we have been given. Remember we will be judged as we have judged. :/

Loveya too Michael, no offense. Check out the Greek word for "all things" in 1Cor2:15 = pas = whatsoever + whosoever G3956. But I think in this case Psalm 139:19-22 should be considered inspired scripture too (there must be a reason why these are part of Psalm 139 as human creation psalm) and I am fully aware of verses 23-24 to apply to myself as well. My personal relationship with Christ is all fine and balanced not only today. Thank you for your kind heads up nevertheless, MARANATHA! Much love...
DeleteAnnabel, Your post touches upon something which I have been feeling a while but unable/unsure how to share it. "I do feel no pity at all." is something I fully understand.
DeleteAs I have stated earlier, being a commuter puts me "in the world" daily. Even over the past couple of years, it seems I've witnessed a rapid coarsening of the folks I travel with and hardening of the public heart. While I am still moved to drive-by prayers for folks and their state and their salvation, increasingly my spirit stops me from tossing pearls before swine, spiritually speaking, and I am moved to move on. Sad, true, but zero feelings of remorse on these. Quite the opposite, where my spirit is repulsed by their clear rejection of His Spirit of Salvation and Truth.
However, even our Lord has an end to His Patience, no? While He Wishes that none would perish, He also is The Arbiter of Fates. As fallen folks we are equally unable to plum the depths of His Mercy as well as His Judgement, and I find myself less and less willing to be more pitying than our Lord, who's Compassion is Perfect, and more and more in alignment with His Righteous Response to these. Maranatha!
Spot on, Jimboni - and even more to consider is this: if we do GREET each other here by exclamating "MARANATHA!" almost in every post, do we remember yet the full verse and meaning of 1 Corinthians 22:16? Well, I should know that as I have painted it as a kind of Mezuza right above our front door onto our house after being saved... Read the whole verse again, everybody! Are you prepared for our future jobs during the next 1,000 years according to Psalm 101:8? HALLELUJAH! To GOD be all the glory!

Annabel, I cringe when I read your rejoicing at witnessing in the court of judgement (a different post) and here today saying you look forward to the day of judgement. I don't understand this glee it seems you are expressing.
When the books are opened at the great white throne judgement - I definitely do not want to be there.
I have my mind on the Bema Seat of Judgement - the believers. I know we are not condemned but I don't know what it will all entail except for the giving of rewards or the lack thereof.
The passage you used in response to Miguel was David referring to his enemies and how he viewed them. Then, he asks God to search his heart for any
un-righteousness in his heart that is not how God wants him to view his enemies (complements of John MacArthur bible notes).
I believe we are to hate what God hates. I think the verses Miguel wrote from Ezekiel say we do not hate the death of the wicked.

I think the pearl before swine isn't how we view strangers, but how we share the gospel with someone who hates the truth versus how we view evil. I think this is how I understood what you are saying.
As for Psalms... King David said some pretty hard things which aren't measuring up to the standards of 1 Corinthians 13! It is for a reason: to teach us a lesson, to show us that the persons chosen by the Lord weren't perfect at all! King David even boasts proudly in some of his earlier Psalms and a maturing humility is discovered only later.

The New Covenant era examples of Godly self-conduct beat many of the Old Covenant era examples.
One of the probably most well-known examples: "
"But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.…"
(Exodus 21:24)
But what is required of us who are having the benefits of the New Covenant?
"You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
(Matthew 5:44-48)
"But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.
“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. Quite a big contrast, right? "Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful!" says Jesus. This admonition, 1 Corinthians 13 and everything else in the Books of the Apostles stays in effect when it comes to Godly-self conduct examples, no matter how dark and weary times we're living in. Plus, the Lord is the Lord God and we are His creation, we are just sheep, His sheep nonetheless. :--) He is the one Judge of the hearts, we can't even judge our own motives most of the time! I think Miguel nailed this issue.
Annabel, I don't think that the 1 Corinthians 16:22 verse about letting a person be accursed has anything to do with seeing or saying an evil person is accursed or believing this. Or, in your way of saying this. It has to do with false Christians in the church. This is for God to judge ultimately.

God does love the world and he desires all come to repentance. Jesus did not come to judge the world. He will at his 2nd coming

DeleteWell, here’s my 2 cents on this...if you find yourself feeling calloused toward the lost and hell bound, which can happen in this indifferent and frustrating world, perhaps you could find it in yourself to pray for them if only to deny the Enemy another victim. He’s the one we should focus such hatred on as he is the cause of all the horror and deception. I always ask myself, why me, Lord? Why did I receive the gift of faith and not that one? No good reason that I can ascertain. That alone keeps me praying mercy for the lost.

I ask God to draw this or that person to His Son and in who He is, their acknowledgement of His personhood and their being a sinner needing salvation that is only in Him and confessing with their mouth that He is Lord. Amen! Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 with the quote continuing to verse 7.

DeleteCathi, I think what she meant is the assumption that there will be 2 trumpet blasts: the first one is *number one* when the dead rise, and the last one is *number 2* when we will be raptured&changed as well. The second one is called "the last trumpet" simply because it will be the last indeed, since it was preceded with at least(!) one blast signaling the rise of the dead saints.
Dear @ family, after having watched some MSM documentary about Pope Francis with my husband just yesterday (which made him think that perhaps the Pope might die soon because they often elevate people in the media right before they die some months later and we looked up and discussed the who-is-who in Rev13 again) now today 1 day later (!) I came across this very interesting On Point Preparedness YT channel video 3/14 "Armageddon is now definitely here: Pope movie announced May 18!" PLEASE WATCH the trailer too, director Wim Wenders is a German (that's interesting to me as well)! There must be sth happening until May... Oh come LORD Jesus I cannot stand it any longer!

We Christians know that these things must happen because we are at that time prophesied. We have a firm Rock to cling to, unlike the world who will flail around for something to hold on to :( From the comments below the Pope movie; he doesn't appear to be fooling a lot of people!

ReplyDelete100 years ago, today, Weds 3/13/1918, The USS Cyclops failed to arrive at port, "resulting in what remains the largest loss of life in Navy history unrelated to combat". This ship, reported to be the Navy’s biggest and fastest fuel ship at the time, and 309 crew MIA 100 years ago. Well, considering the significance of this "100 year" anniversary happening NOW, the pre-eminence of this ship as largest and fastest, along with the mythical and occultic symbolism surrounding the name, I felt 'pulled' to dig in a bit. I found some interesting starters and will look for y'all to take it from here.
Cyclops are members of a primordial race of giants (Gen 6:4) and the offspring of Gaia (Mother Earth) and Uranus (Father Sky). OK, THAT clearly rings of Deception concerning creation. BTW, Gaia & Uranus are also the parents of the first 12 Titans, siblings of the Cyclops. Got that? TWELVE children of the 'gods' are Titans, lesser gods themselves, chosen 12, who are later opposed by their offspring, the Greek 'gods (Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, etc.) who DEFEAT them and the Titans are then assigned to Tartarus, the deepest harshest spot in Hell. Circling back to the Cyclops, "In Hesiod's Theogony, Zeus releases three cyclopes from the dark pit of Tartarus. They provide Zeus' thunderbolt, Hades' helmet of invisibility, and Poseidon's trident, and the gods use these weapons to defeat the Titans." Wow, a LOT of counter-typology THERE for sure.
So, how does this ring in for us Watchers? 100 years after the DISAPPEARANCE of The Cyclops, a being with ONE EYE which was called from deepest Hell and which was a descendant and an 'angel' or agent of the counterfeit 'gods' attributed with creation, happening NOW in the context of everything we are already SEEing. Should this, the expected 'next' find for long missing vessels, be found, what would THAT portend? BTW, The Cyclops was a collier, a coal carrier for fuel for other vessels. That is, The Cyclops kept the FIRE going in vessels of WAR. One thought that comes to mind is that Lucifer could be seen as being Cyclopean: Spawn of deception, called from & destined for Hell, Single-eyed focus on his hatred of our Abba and His creation, currently unseen but lurking in the depths of the seas (Rev 17:15).

I cannot see the point of discussing myths, legends & "gods". In fact, to my mind to be occupied with such things is entirely contrary to what our Lord would have us do. For myself, I'll just stay out of this one.

I made my research with this sounds of trumpets, simply with this wording of Scriptures, and I want to share with you, what do you think about.
Delete1Cor 15:52 (KJV) – In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
– at the last trump:
– for the trumpet shall sound,
– and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
– and we shall be changed.
trump – # 4536 – salpinx – a trumpet, the sound of a trumpet
Examples: Mat 24:31 (KJV) – with a great sound of a trumpet
1Cor 14:8 (KJV) – if the trumpet give an uncertain sound
Heb 12:19 (KJV) – the sound of a trumpet
Rev 1:10 (KJV) – voice, as of a trumpet – and so on (very many Scriptures with this meaning)
Therefore, trump is simply the sound (blast) made by a trumpet. There aren’t other words among these: “at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound”, so we don’t need to add other searchings. “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye” is possible only one sound (blast) of a trumpet, all events in this Scripture take place in this same moment. And then, in 1Thes 4:16, is only one trump – trump (the sound of a trumpet) of God.
1Thes 4:16 (KJV) – For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
– with the voice of the archangel,
– and with the trump of God:
– and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
The Lords comes back for us and gives a shout which will sound as a trumpet. There are very many examples in Scriptures that the voice of the Lord sounds as a trumpet. I didn't yet make the research of this last Scripture, but I want to. Then I write also about. Very much blessings!
