PSALM 90
Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
3 You return man to dust
and say, “Return, O children of man!”
4 For a thousand years in your sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night.
5 You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream,
like grass that is renewed in the morning:
6 in the morning it flourishes and is renewed;
in the evening it fades and withers.
7 For we are brought to an end by your anger;
by your wrath we are dismayed.

Hi Brad. I like this girl! I only have watched the video she did in answering a question from a commenter on how can Matthew 24:31 not be about the rapture (I guess how the title was phrased caught my eye). She has a command of the scripture that did flow in how she answered this

I forgot to subscribe to her but want to go back and listen to her two videos on 2 Thessalonians and the falling away plus the vidoes you referenced here. Her voice is also clear and sharp, and loud in a way that you easily hear the person and what they are saying, and I appreciate that.
Hey Cathi and TY for sharing Brad...I listened to both this vid and Heather's Rapture timing vid. She is makes some very interesting connections and as Cathi points out, is extremely well versed in Scripture. She does propose the Rapture occurring immediately before the onset of the 70th week in conjunction with the Gog Magog War in the 1st month of Nisan and proposes the end of the Trib in the month of Nissan as well if I understood her correctly--which ofc had me wincing a bit. But I also watched @Dr. Barry Awe's latest vid "A Perfect Rapture Timeline Potential!" and he was describing an additional 6 month period of time implied in the OT that might cover that base with a likely Rapture still in September and Christ being Coronated the True King over all the world in the month of Nisan 7 1/2 years after the onset of the 70th week. So many different pieces of the timeline puzzle are coming together in some really unexpected ways and we can surely be Looking UP in hopeful anticipation everyday:-)

I may not know all those that are profiled here but with Heather, I do. :) For the sake of those that may not know about her and wondering… this will be a ‘iron sharpening iron’ and chewing the meat and spitting out the bones reply. It is good to see Heather as I remember her in postings much like here in what was the ‘Rapture in the Air Now’ blog going way back, like in 2008. Heather has some pretty good command of Scripture, understanding, studies and perspective. But, based on my studies, some of her interpretations are to be taken with caution and discernment.
I will give key example from her 2 Thessalonians 2 study that we have argued here a bit about if the Departure means an abandonment of the Faith or of Departing from the world, i.e., the Rapture. I do believe it is a Rapture passage and context that suggests the correct interpretation of ‘The’ Departure as being the Rapture. I believe she made a wrong supposition from the beginning. I will try to list the points I believe where she is off, but that is my take, I could be wrong like she even said of her studies. So, do study earnestly for one’s self.
1-She states the ‘Gathering unto Him’ is dealing with the end of the Tribulation and thus the 2nd Coming. No. This cannot be the Saints but Israel. The only event wherein the Saints will gather unto Jesus is at the Rapture, not the end of the Tribulation. At the end of the Trib, we have already been gathered and actually come back with Jesus. So, we are already gathered by the 2nd Coming but she is confusing this ‘gathering of Israel’ with the Bride.
2-She states that the Seal Judgements start the 2520 countdown of the Tribulation and the return of Jesus. No. The Seal Judgments do not have a specific day count. As I have shared before, the 2520 days are initiated by the start of the Daily Sacrifices, tied then to the midpoint with the Rev 12 Sign and then return of Jesus. The Departed Saints or Bride will thereafter ‘reveal’ whom is the AC, but then there will be a brief time to gather the Many and ‘strengthen’ the Covenant, etc.
3-She states that the Man of Sin, the AntiChrist cannot be revealed unit the midpoint of the Trib. No. This would mean that the Rapture then is not pre-Trib but mid-Trib. She also then teaches that it is the ‘Law’ being reimplemented that is the Restrainer, not the Holy Spirit. That the ‘He’ is the ‘Law’, not the Holy Spirit that has to be set aside. Daniel clearly teaches that one will know at the beginning of the 7-year Trib who this Man will be that ‘confirms the Covenant’, etc. One will not need to wait until the midpoint, the 1260th day to realize, ah-ha, this is the AntiChrist! She is confusing it with Israel’s realization.
4-She teaches that as Israel will be under the Law, that is what will need to be taken out of the way or what is ‘Departed’ so that the AntiChrist can then be revealed. This is heavy, because it is assuming then that the Assembly of Believers in Thessaloniki and the whole Church Age Believers for that matter are currently know under this same ‘Law’ until the mid-Trib ‘Departure’. Sorry but it is absurd. We are not under the Law but Grace.
Again, she does make other great points like the ‘Departure’ should be ‘The Departure’ but as I see it, it is indicative of the Rapture. Why? Because since the beginning of the Church Age, there have always been departures or rebellion against the Faith; all abandoned Paul for example. But this is the singular exclusive type. Anyway. And yes, the word Kurios should be LORD not Christ but this is inconsequential.
So, although I would also agree in how she rightly assesses that the 70, 80 year ‘generation’ should be more correctly seen as a ‘lifespan’. Nice, but as with all Scripture, it does not negate that there could also be and most likely a 'double entendre' present. In that it could allude to the length then of Israel’s lifespan to reach a 70-and 80-year marker, respectively.

Lu...Blessings, Brother and I am in agreement with you on those points. Paraphrasing here, but Heather did say that her main focus is on a 2nd Advent timeline and seemed to treat the Rapture as a sort of necessary but barely mentioned in Scripture "by-product" to get that timeline started. IMO such a view alone could open the door to some wrong turns eschatologically speaking and it only takes one wrong turn to get really off track. I did agree with her--as have some others I've noted lately--re the fact that the expected Dan. 9:27 covenant may not be a "peace treaty" per se. She implied it would be a return to the Old Sacrificial Covenant which I suppose that is a possibility considering the context of that verse, but as others have opined it could also be something more like this Abraham Accord or an "agreement of cooperation" between Israel and nations NOT at war with them that would allow them Temple access, in which case a "peace treaty" wouldn't be necessitated.
DeleteAnyway, it seems we can learn a little something from everyone out there applying themselves to the depths of the Word, but the basic and plainly understood foundations along with prayerful discernment need to be applied whenever any theory begins to wander too far off the beaten path;-)
Thanks, Lu for your synposis of the 2 Thessalonians videos by Heather. I admit that I was a bit downcast after listening to them and not sure what I wanted to think. It was contrary to almost anyone else I have listened to on this passage. To me, it can only be the Holy Spirit who is restraining evil. I saw after listening to these videos, that there was a video out by Andy Woods on apostasia and 2 Thessalonians, part 2. So, I plan on listening to both of them to see what he has to say. Tho, I know he does see apostasia as a physical departure as far as those who believe it is a spiritual falling away.

Umm.. yes. the 70th Week is all about Israel. So, clearly I'm talking about Israel when I discuss the 70th Week. That's where the OT prophecies give the timeline to the start and end of. I realize you guys only want to know when the rapture is going to happen. How do you think you're supposed to find that out if you don't study the other appointed times? And to be honest, I wish there was a bit more enthusiasm for welcoming the Jews into the brotherhood. What do you think Paul's purpose in teaching the Gentiles was? Romans 11... to magnify his office as apostle to the Gentiles if by ANY MEANS he might provoke to emulation them which are his flesh and might save some of them. Dudes... seriously. It's ALL about the salvation of Israel. You all are already saved. How about we have mercy on them not too. That's also in Romans 11. We can't always only be thinking about ourselves. You're speaking from an understanding that Israel is blind to, literally APPOINTED to be blind to. If it was all so easy, why wouldn't they get it and call upon Jesus on Day One? Please for the love of God and all that is holy, stop with the holier-than-thou stuff. They need Jesus. Let's acknowledge that and instead of getting down on me for being focused on it instead of my own rapture WHICH IS ALREADY SECURE... let's teach about the actual ending with an actual day count to an actual people who are NOT already saved. But remember that we were told to “encourage one another with these words”...I saw another video yesterday of another well meaning person saying basically that the rapture will happen when it happens, so get busy (Martha), and focus entirely on Israel. Some of us are holding on by our fingernails. So it’s easy for those who are comfortable, and have a lot of time for deep study to lose sight of that I think. We were never told that we had to master the Bible (as if we could), but I do think we need to stay cognizant of the Blessed Hope, and what it means to so many people. By all means, keep doing what you were called to do, just try not to forget that everyone isn’t in your position.

We are believing Brad served us up this topic and directed us to your 2 Thess 2 video teaching so what do you expect than for us to then discuss this? You have to realize as one who has authored public material/books that it will be scrutinized, criticized, and/or questioned. As for me, it is just a matter of raising questions. And that from one that absolutely respects you, your work, knowledge, and contribution and that ‘we go way back’ to the good ole RITA day! Lol.
I for one do not consider myself ‘holier than thou’ but as I have disclosed to this Rev12 Daily family, I do have a biased Testing background/training that has to be meticulous for details, logic and reason. Give me your thesis papers and I will grade them for you! Lol I think that given your level of maturity and authorship, it is or should be expected that review, whether that be outright rejection, criticism, rebuke even or just questions or indifference, one should accept that as a given to expect.
I for one, since I have posted my work totally online and publicly am well aware of this, despite not wanting to for the exact reasons. I need no further conflict or warfare in my life. I do not like to get death threats, visits to my campus office barging in unannounced, hate mail, email attacks, called names, etc. But I do not have the disposition that, ‘oh well, I am right and too bad and sorry you all don’t see it’, and get irritated about it.
I, we are just doing our due diligence to be as Bereans, which I would think you would agree is very Scriptural and especially in these Last Days when there is a lot of deception, and you are faulting us for that?
Heck I for one admire your ‘thinking outside the box’ and also hold a degree of rejecting traditional orthodoxy. But I am careful how I present that to the Body as to not create any confusion nor stubble any and I do that in context of a conversation or question pertinent to that. And I accept and receive any reaction from rebuke to reviews.
So, to me the primary question is that the 2 Thess 2 passage cannot be the 2nd Coming as you say and would like to know how and where do you get this conclusion. Which, if there would be any personal criticism of you, is that you are actually doing/applying what you say others are doing and should not, that is taking out of context one’s personal interpretation and applying that across the board. So, for example, The passage is about, in context:
1. ‘our gathering us together unto Jesus’.
2. There is only one place and time that will occur or can.
3. Yet you put this time at the end of the Tribulation as a 2nd Coming passage and context.
4. If we are gathered at the end of the Tribulation, then you cannot have a pre-Trib scenario.
That is all I am questioning essentially as that is your primary source/starting point. It does say the ‘appearing of the LORD’, but the next verse then contextualize it for place and time. The Rapture event can only fulfill these 2 conditions and that it is that that then will reveal the AC. And in no other part of the Bible does YHVH equate the Law as a ‘He’.
And what portion of the Law? Ceremonial, Sacrificial, Dietary, Civil, etc.? If you say it is the 2nd Coming, that is fine and we then just have to agree to disagree but the mere fact you then say we are ‘ragging on you’ because it does not fit our Rapture timing because that is all we are looking for or not accepting of Israel you then went off on?
I am not sure where that came from as I never mentioned that but if in that is the case, I for one even joined the IDF to ‘support Israel’, lol. So, just saying that we should be open to ‘peer review’ and learn from each other, be open to questioning, defend our position and if at least coming from those that are on the outside of the ‘box’ also.

He sure is. Among the 9 or so letters after his name are JD. I could listen to him all day. He was speaking recently about how the Founding Fathers based the Constitution and DOI in part on the Law in Deuteronomy and regarding choosing a leader from among their brothers and not a foreigner ie a certain VP candidate whose parents were in the US on student visas when she was born.

I hear so many people preach on the fig tree generation and use this verse to set an upper limit on how long we might have to wait for the rapture. I live with the pain of past trauma and betrayal and having to deal with continuing seemingly unresolvable issues that I face every day with no end in sight and I have held on to this upper limit as a very great hope of release. I have wondered how I would feel if come 2023 we are still here...
I watched a man’s YouTube testimony of a visitation of Jesus last week which seemed to line up with Dana Coverstone’s dreams and he mentioned that Jesus said we would be here at least another 11 years. And I thought “11 years, I can’t face 11 months!”
I am doing my best to focus on Jesus and take one day at a time. Would appreciate your prayers. I’m looking forward to hearing what the rest of you think about this video.

DeleteThere are so many other convergences, ie: prophecy of Daniel's 70th week and the likely double fulfillment in 2020, the constellation formations in 3972 BC, 3 BC, and 2027 AD, besides the Rev 12 sign. I consider those to be "hard" evidence, quantitative, mathematically valid. And then there are all the other signs, lawlessness, evil being "good", Israel back in the land, etc.

Angel Marie...Blessings Sister and I'll just say this...we can listen to 50 different people and hear 50 different timelines and we can let some of that speculation cause fear and confusion OR we can stand on our knowledge of the Written Word, keeping our full trust in our Father's Perfect Timing while paying attention to the prophesied circumstances converging all around us and knowing always that Jesus Christ is NEVER too late. So just keep doing what you are doing and hold fast because He IS Coming! And if perchance it turns out to be a bit longer than what we can imagine, He is always keeping us in one way or another--one day and one prayer at a time as we abide in Him:-) Prayers up for you!

I will be looking out for two/several moons this coming Thurs-Sat (there have been aplenty to describe how many moons (lighted objects) come with the MIDNIGHT cry.
I do believe Gevte is on point with TBA being held AFTER the full 120 days/ 4 months (John 4:35)... and showed how the HARVEST cannot begin UNTIL after the 120 days from Passover as well as the fact sun left CANCER for LEO on smack dab 8-16-2020.
So, my conclusion is as the Ice Man said, who can tell with all the calendars and all the times being messed with and having Julian being before Gregor on top of the Kosher on top of Enoch's etc.
BUT
What does not lie and cannot lie are the stars in the firmament above, the celestial (aka the Creator's) timeclock (yes, many have said too satan has even invented some constellations to mess with us etc...). Even the Magi knew what "time" it was (according to the celestial show) in spite of their own "calendar."

In Paul's case, his clear call that we are Required to look at simple facts, in the real world, and then call things as they are, Scripturally plain, amen.

So, on one hand, if we've learned anything thus far, it is that absurdly Clear Signage is rarely clearly understood; if ever, to date. We've pressed in to press on and He Carries Us Thusly. May it ever be so, amen. However, facts are facts; ME events, et al, of prophecy are now HISTORY, at least in spirit, if not yet final letter. While every rest stop these last few miles has seemed a scene in Groundhogs Day, quite honestly, the emerging details out the window are neither faulty, nor reversible. His Word Is Our Guide; He Is Coming, Maranatha!

He IS coming for us....I was thinking this past week that if I had to make a list of just the sweet and confirming encouragements He has supplied to this one fellowship here at Rev12daily over the last 3 or 4 years, I wouldn't have enough paper or ink or even the memory to write it all down. And that reminded me as you just did again of that old song "The Love of God" and the last stanza that was penciled on the narrow wall of an asylum by a man said to have been insane. (many of us know that feeling and we also know the truth of his "crazy" words)

ReplyDeleteHi all. Thank you for your comments. I understand most of you may not agree and/or find my timelines and research disheartening. That is a byproduct of doing the type of research I do. I don't spend a ton of time focusing on the rapture, because I'd rather take it to the end. After all, that's where the OT prophecies lead to... the second advent of Christ. The danger in not doing so is then focusing on something which becomes "unknowable" without all the relevant information. I wrote a book entitled Truth: In Defense of the Pre-Trib Rapture. Clearly, I know enough about it and believe in it. What I do not believe in is taking scripture out of context to support a narrative to further a belief system that it doesn't actually apply to. People can take that as they will. I encourage you all to use discernment. I don't teach what people want to hear. I teach what the Bible actually says. It may ruffle feathers because it challenges a lot of groupthink. But that's ok. I learn a ton and I share what i learn with those who are receptive to it. God bless you all. And yes, with mine or any other work, exercise discernment.

This is and is being made clear here to..... seeking the whole truth instead of taking tid bits for misapplication.
I do not believe anyone commenting, so far, is poo poo'ing your diligent work to unpack the whole message re: Psa 90. Agreed, we must not pick out v10 and then peg an entire event around a single verse, which by itself cannot stand as it is a part of the larger whole, which is your point and which you have delicately unwrapped.
Most watchers want out NOW instead of LATER, so the grumbles, but please do not take it so personally, which it seems you are.
We know the dark(er) days are creeping in so we'd all rather be in the sky party rather than left here to see/ bear witness to what has come/ is coming.

Yes, I understand the desire for now rather than later. I seek the same information everyone else does... which is why I kept learning and writing books so I could come to a concrete answer. I'm not taking it personally. I realize people feel this way. My irritation, and yes it is that, is on behalf of those who people essentially want to "miss out" in their haste to get it now, now, now. A little Veruca Salt going on right now. That's what I'm irritated about. On behalf of the other people who they're trying to take time away from. Blah.

I'm 63 yrs old and have been Saved in Christ for only 23 of those years, but I've been loving Israel for all of them with prayers every single day for her Salvation as well as supporting her needy people many times over. I long for the day when we walk alongside them and worship at the feet of our Lord together, forever grateful for their premier and sacrificial part in God's Master Plan.

I've seen about all I can stand of the sufferings of wars, abortion, starvation, disease, human trafficking, child abuse etc. while having the knowledge that there are daily horrors being perpetrated on both human beings and animals--esp. in places like China and the ME--that I cannot even bear to entertain in my thoughts without wanting to throw up. I think everyday of my own little grandchildren facing a demonically infested world that works feverishly to corrupt their minds and enslave their very souls for hell eternal. So while I, myself, am still experiencing, by the Grace of God, adequate provision and protection in this world, so many others are not. I admittedly am desperately longing for the Coming of Christ for His Body and have been ever since I learned of His Merciful Gift of Salvation and Redemption to both Jew and Gentile. That Glorious 2nd Advent will not arrive until those final events leading up to it are "triggered" by the event of the Rapture, setting the stage for bringing Israel--as well as many more Gentiles--to an Eternally Saving Faith in Jesus Christ as the One and Only Promised Redeemer of all mankind. And I do agree with you that we all do well to study and understand to the best of our ability God's Dispensational Plan and Purpose for ALL of His people, both Jew and Gentile:-) Many Blessings, Maranatha and Looking UP!

DeleteIt's specifically about the context in II Thessalonians 2:1-12. I liked that theory for a long time. It made me feel good about additional support for the pre-trib rapture. But it doesn't fit the context of the chapter. It's daniel 9:27-specific. It relates to the two things prophecy says must happen before Jesus returns at the second coming (Daniel 9:27c). Those two things are Daniel 9:27b - the cessation of sacrifice and offerings and the overspreading of abominations. Enter, the man of lawlessness. How can lawlessness come into fruition? Lawless = no law. Therefore, law must be absent in order for lawlessness to exist. I realize it's an unpopular idea because it's not supporting the pre-trib rapture. I assure you there is much else in scripture which does that eliminates this passage from being necessary support. Which is good... because it's not about that.

Yes, BB. Most ppl who died were over 80 with cancer, heart disease or diabetes or all of them. So, America’s economy, way of life, etc wrecked over 9000 deaths. DeleteBlessings Cathi G. Thanks so much for telling me (us) about Anthony Patch! I just watched Chromosome 8 and the PCR Test from 8/25/20 and find him to be very informed, credible and persuasive. His 27 years as a paramedic is something I admire as I met many of them when my mother was ill. I agree wholeheartedly with him that there is no Gold Standard sample on which to either base CV1984 much less diagnose it. I didn’t know that they are using the PCR test to supposedly identify Chromosome 8 as the genome of CV1984 when it’s not. PCR looks for genomic sequences not antigens. Chromosome 8 is what all homosapiens have thus so many positive results and negative results shows manipulation of test results. How much of the general public is aware of all this? Well, I went to the post office today and I’d say about 90% of ppl on the street and inside the post office were wearing masks even with yesterday’s CDC news that 9000 ppl died of CV1984 and I don’t believe anyone died from it as it has not been proven to exist. No Gold Standard sample has been isolated and purified and the results subjected to rigorous peer reviewed studies. That’s just a fact. There’s a sign on the post office door with a pic on it of a mask and the quite Stasi-like warning “Masks are a requirement not an option.” Not for me. I reserve the human right to breathe freely unmasked. I went inside and conducted business and no one said a word to me. I always pray before leaving my house and when I get in my car and God is good always.

DeleteI would 2nd that confirmation along with Archangel about Anthony Patch. Over the years I have learned a lot from his perspectives that have more of a scientific and technical background than most. For example, he has studied the workings of CERN, so much so that a while back he was actually ‘visited’ and was threaten about not talking about CERN publicly anymore.
You know he was spot on and how he explained quantum computing and piercing the veil, etc. He was a bit jolted, who would not be but then then took a stance to continue regardless. He has been more cautious about it though. I did have the privilege to designing one of his book covers about CERN, entitled, ‘Diamonds in the Rough’, that was cool.

We need to pray for each other; there is an obvious tension and frustration among us. We are all different, wildly different and that causes us to see differently. Yet, we are believers, lovers of Jesus, the only Son of God. He is our King, Friend, and Savior. May we be one in Him. The world should be shook and not entirely happy when we leave.
We need also to keep praying for our enemies and everyone who will be left behind and for Israel etc.... as the Lord leads.
Satan is watching the pregnancy and sees the contractions: he wants to destroy us. He cant, but he will try. So pray. And watch and keep looking up.
