Demise of America

Pete Garcia has an excellent new article up regarding possible scenarios about how America comes to it's end.  He lays over several scenarios about how the Country could collapse based on the clues in Scripture and the blaring issues we see every day in this deteriorating super power.  With the way the world is headed, it is a very timely read indeed....  

His 5 basic scenarios are as follows:

A. Divine Crisis (Sudden Rapture)

B. Consequential Tragedy  (US implodes from within prior to Rapture)

C. Natural Disaster (Massive earthquake/tsunami/volcanic eruption)

D. Military Attack (Could be Nuclear, Cyber, EMP, etc)

E. Extra-terrestrial (ET's arrive on planet)

He openly admits that due to a few key scriptures such as Luke 17:26-30 and 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 he see's Option A as the most likely.  America will hold together in a fragile sense of relative "normalcy" until the Rapture pulls out the rug on our land and all our social and economic issues suddenly are unleased at the same time without the church around to help any longer.  Pete also alludes to a key point that I am seeing more and more often, that the rapture even will be tied to an Earthquake.  This is a clear pattern in the Bible and would also provide a cover story to help the distract from the missing Christians and also always seems to happen when there is a resurrection of the dead.

I will add that one key reason I think the rapture and the collapse of America are linked is that there is no other country would be so greatly impacted by the event.  Not just by sheer numbers, but that many true Christians are in positions of power in this country.  Obviously, there are less now in the government than we had in the previous 4 years, but think of all the companies with Godly workers throughout their structure, how could they replace them?  Many mortgages would instantly go into default with no believers left to pay, Life insurance would be through the roof, supply chain issues, less food, less everything, panic and fear.... and furthermore, if children are taken, there is no possible way to accurately estimate the enormous impact that would have on the collective psyche of the world.

I would like to thank Shelia for making me aware of the article, and high suggest you read it yourself and think through how this could all play out.   It is painfully and joyfully clear that the demise of America and the arise of the Christian (rapture) are two prophetic freight trains headed for each other.  How the collision of those events take place at the moment of impact is hard to predict, but we know things are clearly coming to a head very soon.  But we have a blessed hope that we will be saved...how amazing it is to have that Jesus as our savior!!
