Contemplating The Fire...

In this post I will share a few of my observations regarding the Notre Dame Cathedral fire which we all know took place earlier this week.  In short, this was an obvious sign of the end of an age and it contains many layers of meaning.  Below are my musings and thoughts that I pray are in part led by the Holy Spirit that I am so grateful resides within me (an you). I am sure there is much much more to this than I share below, so as always, please share your thoughts in insights in the comments section...   God Bless You All.
1. This Fire Likely Symbolizes The Soon End Of The Church Age What better way to symbolize such an event other than this fire. This church withstood the French Revolution and 2 World Wars, but it could not endure 2019. In my mind, this is clearly allowed by God as yet another sign in His intricated tapestry of signs that are mercifully warning and waking the world before the Church Age ends at the Rapture and His wrath is poured out on this sinful world.

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
