Encouragement for the Weary Watcher!

Encouragement.  Endurance. We all need it, thankfully we know who has it (Romans 15:5-6) Yet we are weary, testy at times, discouraged even. My hope is to help reverse some of those trends in this article.  I share a series of bible verses and share my thoughts between... and what really kicked this off was the following line in Gary's recent article which really touched me.....

"Still many are still eager and watching, but discouraged and weary as I am. We press on."

That line has so much wrapped up in it.  I think about the prominent YT personalities who have made such a radical shift in thinking regarding the Rev12 Sign and prophecy in general.  I think comments I've recently read that  seem so quick to call out one another for any number of things, many lacking  adequate grace in my opinion.  I think we are all guilty of taking offense too quickly, judging to quickly, perhaps having short fuse. For me at home, I am so guilty of not checking the tone in which I speak to ensure that the words are conveyed with love, respect and gentleness... that can happen online as well.  I think about our beloved brother Paul, who was so obviously struggling with weariness the last year or so....his toned conveyed what we have all felt...  weariness.  Weariness and discouragement lead to nipping at each other and for some abandoning the path and the group all together...

I can't help but wonder if this beleaguered watchers community is becoming like the Donner Party after getting snowed in.  Waiting for rescue, short on patience, long on hunger.  Nipping at each other, some striking off on their own.....

"As the disillusionment of the party increased, tempers began to flare in the group."

To all this I say no.  NO... I will not let that happen if I have anything to say about it! I stand against it and stand on the promises of God!  The God of Endurance and Encouragement!  I stand on HOPE.... oh that Blessed Hope that keeps us moving forward and looking up!

I believe in the power of The Word that plainly says we must encourage one another.  As the saying goes, waiting is the hardest part... and while we wait any little annoyance can get on your nerves.... but I beg you...do not let it.  We should be encouraging one another.  Encouraging.  Filling others with courage.

When do we need courage?
When things get scary!

God knew waiting on Him would get scary.... that's why he told us to take courage! Take it...you're gonna need it! Read this from Psalm 31:24 and apply it to the hear and now...
Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!
So according to the Word we must be strong... and LET your heart take courage.  He will give us courage, but we much get our heart into the correct alignment to allow that courage to take hold in us.  And once we have the courage, we must EN-courage others! See here what Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 to those believers and to US....
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
Are we encouraging one another, are we building one another up?  Or are we defaulting to discouraging one another or tearing someone down as soon as they share someone or something we don't necessarily like?  Why so quick to see the bad.... see the Good!  As believers, anything truly good in us is straight from God above.... look at that stuff.  See that stuff and strive to find harmony with others as we journey on this long and arduous path together per Romans 15:5...
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus.
Read that verse again....  Do you not think He knew exactly how we would be feeling right now?  Endurance and Encouragement.... He is THE GOD of ENDURANCE and ENCOURAGMENT.  We need to tap into that daily... When times get tough (like right now) and we want to lash our in a subtle or not so subtle way.... Ask God for those two things!  He has them... He IS them!  If we do we can live in harmony with one another just how Jesus wants us to!

Speaking of Jesus, let's have a look at what He said shall we? From John 16:33...
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
Read that whole chapter... Jesus was specifically preparing his disciples for the time when he would be arrested and killed.  He knew that for 3 days they would be discouraged, scared, lonely, weary, etc, etc etc.  He knew they may be feeling guilty for abandoning him....  He knew they may be confused for a time.   So he told them that wonderful verse to help them endure those 3 days!  What more should we be encouraged to endure now that we know the whole story.  We already know He came back to life and we have the promises that he will do the same for us!
For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. 2 Corinthians 4:17
He knows our frame, he knows we are but dust...but He is with us and this wait is worth it.  This affliction, whatever you are going through, whatever we are collectively going through is so infinitely worth it!  Nothing we are going through can even compare.... so if we are doing even mildy better than Job at his lowest point we should be thankful, because even for him it was worth it!  So be thankful for all that you do have and do not lose heart!
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16
God is with us wherever we go.  He is on this path right beside us, teaching us, guiding us.  Like the road to Emmaus we may not even recognize Him...but He is here on this journey.  We have the same God speaking to us who gave this loving command to Joshua....

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
Read that again and imagine Him saying it directly to You! Imagine him saying it to you in response to your weary condition.... wondering just how much more watching and waiting lies head.  He is with us wherever we go!  Wherever we go... He is with there, here, right beside us.... right now.

Do we wander off the path sometimes?
He is with us out in those weeds.

Do we get tired and sit down and feel sorry for ourselves?
He is there to be our pillow.

Do we cause division or strife or wounds in others...
He is there to heal...both them and us.

He can handle it...  He can handle this.  Whatever "it" is...He can handle it.

So I encourage you all as we wait for that oh so glorious and oh so amazing day to arrive, as we wait I beg you to do all you can to encourage one another in this little family.  And if there is something to bring up, a crooked line in someone you may feel called to make straight, please do it with gentleness, encouragement and a health dose of grace.  Remember those with whom you speak are those for whom Christ died.  Encourage them!

This wait has gotten long, but that is why I personally am so THANKFUL to God for giving us the gift of the Rev 12 Sign.  That marker in the sky has been permanently burned into my being as an unforgettable indicator of the lateness of the hour.  It is a sign post telling us exactly how close we are to our destination and yet to the horrible reality that will soon besiege our friends and family who are far from Christ.  We have seen so many signs....along with that GREAT SIGN, so we know are on the right path.  And no matter how foggy it may get we can know by that huge and clear sign that we are getting oh so close and headed in the right direction!

May God Bless each and every one of you... I am so thankful to be on this journey with you all!  Be Strong.  Let your heart take courage.  Keep waiting and keep lookin up for He is surely coming!

  1. Thank you Brad, the encouragement and gentle admonitions of this post are exactly what I needed right now. I am weary indeed and in need of a fresh dose of God's joy in my life.

One really cool source of encouragement is today's Verse of the Day on the YouVersion Bible app. It's Philippians 4:9, but I'm going to share verse 8 and 9 together:

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you."

If you're looking for an extra dose of encouragement today, read all of Philippians 4; encouragement is practically the theme of the chapter! And if you're looking for an extra, EXTRA dose of encouragement, read the entire letter of Philippians; it's only four short chapters :)

Much love and encouragement to all the watching family here. Grace and peace to each of you, and Maranatha!!

  2. Thank you Brad for speaking encouragement and admonitions within the spirit of love and kindness.
I believe most all of us are weary from the wait, simply wanting to go Home and live in the presence of our One True Love. I know I do.

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: "For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry."
    Hebrews 10:36-37

Praying God's peace and strength over all who come here.
    Blessings and maranatha!

  3. TY Brad...much needed, saw it coming and convicted to step back, take a deep breath and let our Father sort out His Own apples. I do apologize for my rant yesterday on the whole "license to sin" thing. Guess it had just gotten to sounding like nails on a chalkboard to me and although it felt right at the time, it did not bring me peace, or a good night's sleep. I woke up this morning with the worst crick in my neck ever and felt like I had been waylaid by a busload of bandits from Chiaha who'd severely pistol-whipped me. That's when I realized my anger was really misdirected--much to the enemy's delight. I got too busy swinging the sword, dropped my shield and zing...he nailed me...right in my own "pride" zone. While I will always staunchly contend for The Gospel of Jesus Christ, I do regret that approach, Family, and intend to be more prayerful going forward. And for now, by His good Grace (coming through our Brother Brad;-)I'm just looking to get back up on that Watching Wall to see what I can see because He IS coming:-) Blessings All and Maranatha!

  4. Brad, I read the article on the Donner Family and the tragedies that befel them and others in this caravan to CA. It was with a feeling of despondency that I came back to read the next paragraph of your article and it was a release from that feeling to joy when I read, "To all this I say no. NO..."
A sense of hope, amazement and wonderment all rolled into one!

  5. Brad thank you for posting this encouragement for all. My prayer is that there will be peace and harmony amongst the brothers and sisters.. we want to be caught watching for his return and uplifting one another. I am reminded of this hymn by Charles Wesley . And can it be that I should gain
An int’rest in the Savior’s blood?
Died He for me, who caused His pain—
"For me, who Him to death pursued?
Amazing love! How can it be,
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?
Amazing love! How can it be,
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?"

  6. Brad, thank you. While the Word Never Changes, the lenses which we bring to the page, do.

Wrestling with The Angel Of The Lord, lately, over this, in prayer, and I was reminded of this very dynamic. Why is this unaddressed? Really? Look again. How can so many signs pass before the exit? Look again. Why would You Give Such Amazing Connections, Then, Let Them Pass? Look again. The Rock Never Falters, Never Moved, have you forgotten where it is moored? Look again. Overcomers. Enduring. and after having done ALL, to STAND.

Again, thanks for polishing our lenses, a bit, and reminding us where to look, again, Maranatha!

  7. The best encouragement to remember for me - "The Comfort of Christ’s Coming" ~ 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.

  8. Hi Brad and all,
I know yesterday's conversation got many contributors hot and bothered, and my reaction to CiD's email seemed to be the catalyst that ignited it all off.

Could I have worded my re-buff of CiD's endorsements of Charles Lawson more graciously, most definitely. And I do apologize if I offended anyone, my purpose was not to alienate, but I simply wanted to stand up for GRACE, when so many people bash it, or discount it, or call it greasy grace, cheap grace, or a whole host of other derogative names, and they lump in salvation and discipleship into one container, when they are two separate and distinct aspects of our walk with Jesus. I just felt I had to take a stand.

When the big name preachers, that many people look up to , and listen to, when they are on the record saying, that "anyone who thinks simply believing that Jesus is the son of God will get them into Heaven, is mistaken, it won't!, they need to turn from their sin's if they want to get into Heaven" is preaching an accursed gospel. I think this needs to be highlighted to the brethren, and as mom appropriately quoted from, 1 John 2:18-19 - "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."

I know it is not nice to think that someone you enjoy listening to is spreading a false message, but this same thing is happening all over YouTube at the moment, channels that were getting a huge following, suddenly came out against grace in the last few weeks, we even have mentioned several of them on here over the past few months, and many of us felt the need to unsubscribe to them.

I think mentioning big name preachers who are preaching an accursed gospel, is equally important, so that baby Christian's can look them up in Google, and hopefully come across this great resource, where they can see the topic discussed within the Christian family.

Anyway, Thanks to everyone yesterday who responded to my messages, both the negative comments, and the positive ones, I take them all as positive, because it brought a very clear focus on GRACE and LAW, and many interesting points were raised, which can only benefit our immediate family here, and also our wider family who reside in the shadows, without leaving comments. Blessings to all, and I do love you all.

    1. We love you too, Jordan, and know you are a most committed Watchman over the flock. You have a wonderful zeal for the Word of God that I wish was as contagious in our families and homes as it is here in this branch of His Family:-) We just gotta watch out for when the enemy is baiting us into looking like a divisive mess--which we are not and he knows that, but if he can just peel one of us off into an angry rant--like he did me--then he can cloud the whole purpose of our Fellowship, which is encouraging one another in the joy of intently waiting and watching for our Lord and Savior while resting together in His Secure Grasp. We've got nowhere else to go, Brother, when it comes to that. I am IN NO WAY saying we should go along to get along as we firmly stand for what we know to be the Truth of our Salvation--The Finished Work of the Cross. But as you said, we can let Him work through us in as gracious a manner as possible and that will probably deflect those fiery darts much more effectively anyway. The enemy HATES that. Blessings and Looking UP:-)

You two are such an encouragement to me and I greatly appreciate you! :)

Let's take the words of Philippians 3:13-16 and press on! Each day brings us new opportunities and one day closer to being with Him.

Love you to Charlie, sorry that I got a bit carried away with my rant on Charles Lawson, It is just when I hear a famous preacher, telling his flock that if they don't turn from their sin's they will go to hell, it gets me indignant, What reason did Jesus come, if not to save sinners. If we could stop sinning completely , we wouldn't need a savior. it was like my finger's were electrified, and I could not stop them typing. Blessings to you brother.

  9. Hey Fam, coupla thoughts now that we've got some room again. 1st, the Scriptural Admonition that just a LITTLE leaven infiltrates the WHOLE loaf. Now, there's an inconvenient truth to be kept in the mix, Surely.

Sheila B., interestingly, as Judgment also lingers, and we recently had 144 peek in, as of 8/1/19, POTUS has had 144 Fed Judges confirmed of 194 submitted. The '50' difference seems oddly specific and related also, no?

Lastly, MF latest on the lunacy concerning the Sun's examination will have your head in orbit: Solar Sun Probe and SkyNet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHyEze4CFDk (MFishers). Again, affirming in my spirit, as when I initially saw this in MSM, that this farce being centered on the Sun is deeply entangled with so much, it is making unpacking it a whirlwind to even know where to start. Clearly, MF feels likewise, enjoy.

    7. Ofc you're not leaven, Jordan, and neither am I. But the enemy can take any given situation and toss just enough contamination into it to blow it up into something nobody intended. That's his forte and sometimes we take the bait and the best way to get rid of it is to sweep it right back out the door along with him and just get our focus back on Jesus. The enemy can't touch that:-)

I don't think you will receive a reply from Pastor Charles Lawson, i dont know if true or not, but it seems Pastor Lawson died in 2017.

Here is an article backing up my claim, that contains a written quote of Pastor Charles Lawson's denial of Grace and promotion of LORDSHIP SALVATION

Apologies on the obituary link. I thought that was the same pastor Charles Lawson.

However the 2nd link and the 2 videos I sent on in the last thread are definitely of and referring to Pastor Charles Lawson from Temple Baptist, who clearly promotes LORDSHIP SALVATION and denies GRACE.

Anyway hopefully he will reply personally to your email confirming or denying his stance on Salvation Security.

    4. Okay...this was bugging me and no search I did could confirm Pastor Charles Lawson's death in 2017 or even that he is still living and active as all of his YT sermons are either undated or seem to be mirrored. All of the commenters on that Legacy Obit seemed of the mind it was him being eulogized altho there was no mention of that person's being a well-known Pastor. Even Wikipedia seemed confused, having his picture posted along with the bio of some Irish Actor. Also there is more than one Temple Baptist Church in KnoxvilIe. It was all so weird.
SO I just called up Temple Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN this morning and unless they haven't updated their answering machine, Charles Lawson is the current Pastor of the church located at 2100 Woodrow Dr. (865) 689-4741)

    5. Thanks Sheila for doing that leg work on Charles Lawson. It was so bizarre that Wikipedia has very little to nothing on him.. There must be a hole in the Internet somewhere, as I would have imagined such a celebrity pastor would have a bit of internet records good and bad!!

Smart thinking to ACTUALLY call his church... So hopefully his answering machine message is current, otherwise, in the words of SLIM SHADY "will the real Charles Lawson, please stand up, please stand up". Thanks sister.

    6. IKR...It was sort of like chasing a ghost. I was even beginning to think he might be some kind of longtime YT AI implant who's purpose was to preach a confusing doctrine and set Christians at each other's throats--in which case that would seem to be working quite well:-/ First he rejected the Rev12 sign, then he embraced it (which is posted about in this site's archives from back in 9/17) and he does preach Eternal Security no matter what in one clip, but then he's preaching constant repentance to hang on to it in another...so there's a little bit of something for everyone to argue about.

But unless they haven't updated that answering machine in 2 YEARS, he is there and he sounds like the average brick and mortar Independent Baptist Pastor to me...trying to cover all the bases while admonishing his congregation to walk in righteousness by sowing just enough fear to keep them less than 100% sure they are truly saved--which works to keep them in the pews and supporting the ministry--"just in case".

And for the lion's share, that's just the reality of the organized church system--which is WHY we all need to be searching the Scriptures for ourselves, praying daily and without ceasing for the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth as Jesus stated He would in John 16:13 KJV --so that NO MAN can shake our faith in the Finished Work of The Cross--regardless of how good his intentions may or may not be. And that'll be my last nickel on the subject:-))

  11. TY Brad!
Your message came to us at the right time.

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.”
    ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭133:1-3‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

The Word above presents us with peculiar aspects to go through this moment of great expectation.

UNITY - living in the Body of Christ (how good and pleasant it is)

PRECIOUS OIL - Holy Spirit Symbol (on the head- JESUS is the head of the BODY), we need be filled with the Holy Spirit, who sanctifies us and warns us about the evil around us (“Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:14‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

RUNNING DOWN - From the beard to the collar of his robes (the whole BODY is the target of this ministry)

ZION - Speak to us of Eternity, whence comes the blessing that lasts forever! (I remember hearing as a child my grandmother singing “Zion, home of the redeemed”). Certainly, that's where Blessed Hope is reserved for us!

Since August 2017, I have been following this blog and learned a lot and was spiritually built. I thank you all and pray to the Lord that the Work of the Holy Spirit here will be done, more and more, and that we may arrive that day as the true overcomers (“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” - Revelation‬ ‭21:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

Can we pray for Debobah at Speaking the Truth in Love YT. She had a fund raiser for her autistic twin girls to seek autism treatment in the U.S. and I think it is more on the natural health side of things ... Amyhow, one of them, Lila is screaming and won't stop and pointing all over her body and she is at the hospital. I think they are 6 years old. They cannot talk. It must be so difficult .. thank you, all.

    7. Deborah, spelling. I am trying to finish her short video but it is hard to listen cause Lila is crying/screaming. Deborah is saying that the day she put up the fund raiser is the day Lila started to scream so she is thinking it is spiritual ... she reached her (today?) goal and has taken it down ... and, hoping she will stop.

  14. Just reading about the Cliff Collapsing on that beach in Encinitas, CA yesterday killing at least 3 people. It happens, the report says--as part of the natural process--nothing to worry about. Not unusual at all--well, except for the "magnitude", which they report as having not been seen before. And that's the thing they are ignoring re the intensity in magnitude of just about everything around us whether in the natural, cultural, economic, or geopolitical arena. "Ol' Crusty" is moving beneath our very feet and that big cliff collapse is just another "gentle" warning of what's about to come upon our coasts. Oh, that many more will just Look UP in prayer and call upon The Merciful Name of Jesus Christ!

    1. Thank you Cierra,
To me that video proves the point I was making in the last thread, that Charles Lawson does not believe in saved by Grace, he actually seems to despise it, the way, he is enraged, and is practically spitting, as he goes on about people who believe in Grace will Go to Hell. From that video it shows that he believes that repenting of your sins is required for salvation, he might say 3 times, that "repenting does not save you" but from the way he mocks GRACE calling it "easy believism", you can tell he is talking out of both sides of his mouth. I stand by my original comment that newbie Christian's should avoid his teachings, because he is teaching a faith plus works message for salvation, and we are told in Galatians 1:8-9 -

Galatians 1:8-9 (KJV) - "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."

Accursed means to be avoided. And that's what I will be doing with Charles Lawson... AVOIDING HIM!!

    2. Jordan, I agree with you about Charles Lawson. Someone brought up his name here on this site a while back, so I checked him out. Seemed okay at first and I could agree with most of his points, but I heard him say some things like in the video referenced above and I never went back to another of his sermons. I spent many years under the heavy kind of condemnation that comes with that kind of preaching and I can recognize it by the gut wrenching fear that tries to get on me when I hear it. No thank you, I will avoid him as well.
I just wanted you to know that I stand with you, brother.

    3. Thank you for your support Kathy.
Yeah I think there is a huge misconception out there that GRACE believers are out there sinning it up like there is no tomorrow. We are told, " so you think you have a license to sin" or "you think you don't need to repent of your sin." This is a load of rubbish.

The grace people that I know, (all only online unfortunately) are some of the most Godly people I know, they are not using their " licenses to sin" to sin,
They are actively talking and praying to the Lord each day, they Confess their sins to him when they mess up. And they are not against turning from sin, in fact they usually do. But they aren't counting those things they do towards their Salvation, they know their Salvation is a FREE GIFT. And they know that the good that they do in this world though perhaps unnoticed in this world will be rewarded 100 fold in the next. Rewards are seperate from Salvation.

So sad that people like to mock GRACE BELIEVERS because we believe when God's word says "ETERNAL LIFE" and "EVERLASTING" , that he actually meant FOREVER and that when God's word says "ALL SINS ARE FORGIVEN (Colossians 2:13-14) " a actually meant ALL OF OUR PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE SINS ARE ALREADY PAID FOR.

      Blessings sister.

    4. Dear Jordan,

I understand that there is indeed a huge misconception among believers. This has indeed puzzled me a lot and has led me to study the Scriptures and also look into the comments of both type of believers. I have now come to the understanding that both types of believers are basically living the same life.

      i.e. Both types of believers

      1. Never like to continue in sin and would repent when they sin
      2. Are never counting on the things they do for their salvation
      3. Believe that God as a loving Father would never forsake them. Never.

The only difference I find is in the teaching not the living.

Grace believers teach that all that matters is believing in grace
It doesn’t matter if you continue in sin or not.

The Other Believers teach that after we believe in grace,
we will not like to continue in sin. Of course we may fall but
sin will be something we will hate and try to overcome.
So if someone willingly continues in sin he hasn’t truly believed in grace.

Seriously I feel that there are true believers on both sides. We are all children of the Same Father. There should be love among brethren not hatred and bitterness.

    5. Hi Christina,
Yes I agree with you, there are true believers on both sides of the faith alone / faith plus works coin. And there should be love among the brethren, we should also love those who hate us. But unfortunately not everyone who declares to be a Christian is a Christian. Not everyone who professes Jesus, is known by Jesus. (Matt 7:21-23)

      GROUP #1
There will be people who believed the gospel of salvation by Jesus Christ alone without works, and they rested in that for the remainder of their days on earth.

      GROUP #2
There will be people who believed the gospel of salvation by Christ alone without works, but then over the course of their life, got exposed to legalism, and they misunderstood James 2 of Faith without works is dead, and then believed that their works for necessary to keep them saved. Here is a great teaching by Robert Breaker going over James 2 verse by verse: https://youtu.be/4BX8noZOpJQ

The 2nd group are still saved believers, because we are saved from the very moment we understood & believed the gospel, whether that happened when we were 5 years old, or 95 years old. Salvation is not a process, it is an event, that happens once.

      GROUP #3 -
There will be people, who like the idea of having a savior, and agree they are a sinner in need of a savior but they reject the GOSPEL of salvation by Jesus Christ alone, they think it cannot be that easy, and that they have to contribute their own good works (doing selfless good deeds / repenting daily / trying to live holy to the equation in order to stay saved / maintain their salvation.

This group cannot accept that ETERNAL LIFE actually mean's ETERNAL or FOREVER, they must think eternal life is only eternal until we sin again and then we must repent in order to re-establish their salvation. They seem to forget that God already knows all of the sins you will commit in your life, and when he saved you from your sin, that he didn't realise that you were such a wretched dirty rotten sinner than what you 1st revealed yourself to be, when you cried out to him.

If you asked this group, what were they saved from when they said they believed in Jesus, "they would correctly say from the consequence of their sin, eternal death" but how can you be saved from the consequence of sin eternal death in hell one moment and then not saved from eternal death the next moment after you have sinned without repenting. Then what were they saved from in the 1st place. You are either saved, or you are not saved. If you could be saved, then thrown back into damnation, then you were never saved.

And believing that we all have the same father is not really true: We know that there are children of the devil rubbing shoulders with the children of God, there are wheat and tares, (Matthew 13:24-30) sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31-46), wolves in sheep's clothing (Matthew 7:15 ).

John 8:44 - "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

There are consequences if a believer continues to willfully sin, but these are earthly consequences:

[] If you steal & kill, you will get in trouble with the authorities
[] If you cheat on your partner your family life will be ruined
[] If you lie, people won’t trust you
[] If you continue to sin, you will have silence from God (Job 34:29), no fellowship with him, unanswered prayers (James 5:16), bad things will happen in your life, & your life may even be cut short. (Luke 13:3), the loss of eternal rewards, (2 Corinthians 5:10)
But none of those consequences will mean the loss of salvation.
      Blessings to you Christina.

    6. Hi Jordan,

Thanks for your response. I always feel that believers must interpret Scripture with other Scripture and ask God’s wisdom rather than listen to the messages of men. The messages of men may be right or wrong but Scripture can never be wrong. We get various interpretations online. But the plain, basic meaning of each verse is enough to guide us into all truth.

      According to
      Ephesians 2:2
      Ephesians 5:6
      Colossians 3:6

God calls them the sons of disobedience in contrast to the sons of obedience.
So I think God is their Father too.

Love and blessings to you dear Jordan.

      Delete
    7. Sorry Christina, but the 3 verses you quote to support your case, that we are all children of God, actually prove the opposite:

      Ephesians 2:2 (ESV)
"2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience"

The prince of the power of the air, is satan, and people who follow him are the lost. It is only if a son or daughter of disobedience repents (turns from their non-belief to believing on Jesus), that they would then become a son of God.

      Ephesians 5:6 (ESV)
"6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience."

      &

      Colossians 3:6 (ESV)
"6 On account of these the wrath of God is coming."

Both of these verse tells us that the son's of disobedience will receive the wrath of God. God does not send his wrath on his own Children. We are snatched away before God's Wrath begins, but he does send his wrath on the those who have rejected Jesus as their savior.

So same point as above, people only become son's of God when they believe on Jesus, until then, they are still to be considered children of wrath / children of satan.

      Ephesians 2:3
"3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind."

      John 1:12
"12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."

      Hope this helps.

      Delete

    8. Jordan, I still see the Fathers Heart in those verses and I don’t wish to see anybody as “ the children of the devil “ at least till the Judgement Day. Hoping and praying that everyone will see and believe the marvellous light of Jesus one day.

      Delete

    9. And also those verses show how God has transformed us who were once sons of disobedience into sons of obedience.

Our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin (Romans 6: 6)

Jesus crucified our old nature on the cross so that we may now become partakers of His Divine Nature ( 2 Peter 1:4)

Thus Christ transforms us from sons of disobedience to sons of obedience.

    10. I get ya sister. Defo not a nice idea to think we are anything but children of God.

So thank God, he has made it so easy for us to become his children. It's not a Salvation issue, but it was an interesting debate. So thank you Christina and God bless you.

    11. Jordan, yes it is always wonderful to discuss Spiritual things. Since time is very short I always tell believers to spend much time in reading the Bible from Matthew to Revelation and ask for God’s guidance and revelations. And to read them with an open mind, without preconceived views and make sure our eternity is safe. This will be very beneficial instead of listening to messages by men.
      God bless you dear brother.

LAST MONTH marked the longest period of economic expansion in US history—the 121st month of growth since the great financial crisis of a decade ago.

As we enter August, corresponding to the biblical month of Av, experts are warning that a perfect economic storm is brewing around China, the Fed, and Brexit.

Additionally, factors such as the Deutsche Bank crisis and war drums related to Iran’s stepped up aggression further threaten financial stability.

The state of the US and world economy is a crucial piece of the prophetic puzzle because the Bible paints a picture of economic prosperity when Judgment Day arrives: people will be “buying, selling, planting, and building” (Luke 17:26-29).

That a record period of expansion seems poised to end this summer—during the harvest season following Israel’s 70th year—is significant because the Bible defines a typical generation as 70 years, and Jesus says the generation who sees Israel reborn will see the end of the age (Ps. 90:10; Matt. 24:32-34).

Furthermore, the number 70, more than any other number in the Bible, signifies judgment, redemption, and an endpoint.*

Concerning the time of the Lord’s return, Scripture teaches we will know the season but not the day (1 Thess. 5; Heb. 10:25 Matt. 24:36-42).

      So keep watch!

Many are extremely weary yet there's this gut feeling that *Big Things* are coming and might explode pretty soon. At times it feels like trying to run in water (like in those bad dreams when one tries to run) things seem to drag out that slowly and at the same time everything escalates. 5. Veebee, there is no need to sign off, or leave. I know from listening to you over the last year or 2 that you are my sister in Christ, We can all get wisdom and knowledge and edification from various sources...

There is a guy called Mike from OnPoint Preparedness, who I used to enjoy listening to, then his sermons started becoming more and more legalistic, but one thing he did say was "we walk by faith not by sight" he was quoting: 2 Corinthian 5:7, and he went on to say, that people are looking to hear a big voice, or see evidence of God in their life, or to have dreams and visions, and that not all Christians have these divine experiences, and he re-emphasized that we are told to "walk by faith, not by sight", and I thought, that is so true.. and I felt very edified by his message.

I don't listen to him much anymore, (mainly because he too came against OSAS) but my point is, as Jimboni also put it, if God wants to speak to us through an donkey, he can do that.

If you or anyone else enjoy's listening to particular preachers, then that is your business.

My messages in the last thread and here was just to flag it for baby Christian's as I remember when I 1st joined this site, being a baby Christian myself at the time, I expressed complete confusion as to who was preaching correctly, so many contradictory messages all claiming that the LORD or HOLY SPIRIT told them, and I couldn't make sense of it at all.. But eventually a clarity came, about what was the correct doctrines, and with it came an understanding, that there are many false teachers, and preachers out there, many more than there are true Holy spirit filled Christian preachers and most of them are there to lead people away from walking by faith, and to be trusting and looking to them selves, and not on Jesus who is the author and perfecter of our faith.

Please don't be leaving sister. We all love ya.

I am sorry VeeBee for hurting your feelings.

And, while I am saying this - I don't mean to hurt your feelings either Cierra ... not everyone will agree or disagree on whomever as to what a preacher or teacher is saying ... To avoid more discussion on Lawson I think, honestly that we can go and find out ourselves what we want to learn as to what this specific minister teaches and a link to another video is not necessary.

    12. Dear VeeBee - I was sorry to hear about your "slipped ribs." I am wondering if my husband could have this. He had a pretty violent bicycle accident last week and landed mostly on his right upper forearm and that side of his chest. Thank God no broken bones after 8 X-rays, but very sore and not seeming to be getting relief from the pain or improving. Our doctor recommended a chiropractor as his chest could have shifted? I think he thought this sounded silly, but God in His goodness led me to your comment. Is that who you went to - a chiropractor? He also jammed his left hand pretty well, and we are due for quite a bit of babysitting this week and next - he can't lift or drive and my back isn't the strongest. Anyone led to pray, we would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you, VeeBee, we will be in prayer for you for quick healing and decreasing pain. It's so hard when one can't function. My mom always used to say "Getting old isn't for sissies," and I know what she means now. Many blessings!!!!

I spent the day in pain not ...simply thought it might dissipate.. ..when to work the following day and was in excruciating pain left work early..That's when the labor pains (Ha) began. I went to acquire pachter the 1st day and not good all he did was massage when to another chiropractor the following day she was a bit better however no relief very little relieved the 3rd time I went she was able to get through all the muscle spasms and said she thought I might have slipped Rib. Then chiropractor no 4 number four He was able to put to rips back in place in the front 2 and in the back 2 clavical out of place and the hips off. it was the worst pain I've experienced There are few chiropractors with YouTube channels .about slipped rib syndrome very helpful.... 19. Dear VeeBee, you have really had to endure and persevere. Isn't it sad? We exercise to stay in shape and end up worse off! I am so thankful to God that he finally got you to someone who could help you get some relief.

I went to the Motivationaldoc YTC and I just might spend much of the day watching his very helpful videos, as my back needs strengthening, too. Thank you for those sites. Our naturopathic doctor recommended a good chiropractor now, so perhaps he will at least call her for information now that he has heard your story. He has had chest/rib muscular pain and spasms on and off for much of his adult life, so this just may be God's way of bringing good out of bad.

Soon we will be in a place where physical pain will be a thing of the past. "Just a few more weary days and then…." God Bless you, dear VeeBee. Many prayers up for you.

    20. Everyone's situation is different ofc, but my younger daughter was rear-ended at a red light really hard when she was just 19 and has dealt with rib-slippage ever since. They did all kinds of stuff to her that was horribly painful and in the end didn't fix anything long term. So whenever her rib pops out of place, I stand on her back and maneuver it with my foot back it into place, then put enough pressure on it to pop it back in. Don't have to do it very often, but that's what works for her:-)

I agree that you can learn from even a donkey if God wills it to be so but I have also noticed the mixing of works into the salvation message. Keep on staying strong as it is so easy to be swayed into thinking we need to do something or more than we are doing to secure our salvation.

  20. Hey Folks.... here some new "info" (to me any way) regarding the SEASON of Pentecost....not the actual moedim or "appointed DAY." Perhaps some encouragement, gosh, we all need it.

While it is somewhat difficult to pin the tail on the donkey (no pun from the comments above) while using five calendars, maybe there is an entire SEASON to be really really awake for and watching.

Summary: the SEASON of Pentecost runs all the way until Tishri 1. Instead of looking at the Fourth point of the seven point menorah stand, we have been moving left to right and are in the middle of the 4th and 5th.

Thus, all the Pentecost/ Wheat Harvest/ New Wine foreshadows are valid up until Tishri 1. There are also some astronomical events happening in the Shamayim (where is Zeus' voice for this) this month.

Note: I believe CM was heavily favoring/ seeing an Elul departure last year.

    ==============================
When we look to the Feast of the Lord called Pentecost (Shavuot) we can make an important distinction between THE DAY and THE SEASON. The day is celebrated at the conclusion of a period of 50 days (7weeks times 7 plus one day). Any calendar reckonings for The Day are over for 2019.

However, The Season of Pentecost continues until it concludes on Month 6, Day 29. This date of Elul 29 will be the concluding day of 30 days annually of Teshuvah, of repentance. Then are the 10 Days of Awe from Tishri 1 to 10.

Elul 29 is actually a date of great significance. It is the Last Day of Elul yet also The Last Day of the Regnal (King's Calendar) for THE COUNTING OF YEARS FOR ISRAEL! For example, if we look to Anniversary 71 since Israel declared itself a nation again in 1948, the Anniversary was 5-14. But would the year be reckoned from that date or from Elul 29? Same thing with Anniversary 70 when members of the United Nations voted to affirm Israel a nation. Did that year in divine reckoning end at Elul 29 as well?

So a question remains. Is Pentecost COMPLETE on THE DAY or really upon completion of THE SEASON through Elul 29?

Pentecost is associated with the center position (The Messiah, Servant Lamp Position) on a 7 lamp Menorah. It is number 4. Lamp 5 is associated with The Feast of Trumpets. "In the midst of the menorah" can relate to lamp 4 or 5. The space between 4 and 5 is symbolic of The Season of Pentecost. It begins on The Day but it ends The Season of Pentecost on Elul 29. We are at Lamp 4 on the Menorah, in The Pentecost Season, until Elul 29 is complete!

The Season of Pentecost ends as the Feast of Trumpets begins. Part of the world far back on the 24 hour grid is on The Last Day ( of Elul, the Pentecost Season, and the King's Year). Part of the world is into The Feast of Trumpets, The New King's Year, and the Days of Awe. So on the same day of 9-1, 2019, we End And Begin a momentous divine year reckoning in space and time since days of old. COMPLETION and RENEWAL! Pentecost is linked to the concept of grace. Among other names for it, The Feast of Trumpets is called Yom ha Din, Day of Judgment. What if the current Dispensation called The Age of Grace will end as Pentecost Season 2019 concludes? Then JUDGMENT BEGINS as The Hour of Trial, Daniel's 70th Week begins. Do all these themes indicate that it might? DAY or SEASON OF PENTECOST? WHICH COMPLETES IT? Maybe we will not be patiently waiting for The Day of The Blessed Hope until 2020. Like Pentecost Day 2020. Perhaps earlier, with Season rather than with The Day of Pentecost? This year? The Days of Teshuvah (Repentance) begin on 8-2 to 3, 2019 according to The Torah Calendar.. They may among be the most important days for repentance and reflection of our lives.

    With Love and Shalom

    3. Yes, we have come full circle on a few things in the past 2 years since really watching (moment by moment).

Interesting Elul is the 6th month (6 = man) on the eccesiastical calendar and the last month on the civil calendar. Also ineresting trumpets (i.e. the shofar) are blown during this month or time or season if you will. Numbers, order, and patterns mean something and they are significant.

So what has me intrigued is the Last Trump verse we all know.... so perhaps we have the last trump (shofar blasts) at the end of Elul BUT also we know it will be the voice of God via archangel which calls us up (not a shofar or silver trumpet):

(1 Thess 4:16) "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

So like God's voice/trumpet blast was at the 1st Pentecost (Exodus 19:17-19), so it will be too at the end (of the grace period) fulfilling the SEASON of Pentecost?

Perhaps Pentecost will be fully come when the "time of the gentiles" ends?

I dunno but I am learning, continue to learn and know more today than I did yesterday.

  21. Thank you all for the encouragement and love shown on here. On the spiritual warfare front, I follow a ministry that has as a focus of their ministry Isaiah 61:1-2
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
    To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to [a]heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
    And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,

In order to survive the spiritual warfare they encounter on the front lines they have developed a daily prayer that is full of scripture verses that they find very helpful and share for free on their website. It has a few different versions to suit different people. I have tried it and I think it does help when I remember to pray it. They also have some other prayers on their website as well. 22. AS the biblical month of Av, historically linked to judgment and calamity, begins—

The US has seen two mass shootings in less than 24 hours.

Iran has seized a third foreign vessel in as many weeks.

Tensions are high in Hong Kong as China moves to exert more control.

The discovery of water inside the main crater of one of the US’s most active and dangerous volcanoes signals that a new explosive phase of eruptions may be imminent.

The stock market’s unprecedented winning streak appears to be nearing an end.

Earthquakes, disease outbreaks, and food shortages are occurring simultaneously and worldwide.

“When you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door” (Matt. 24:33).

    1. This is interesting Jeova,

As you stated: As the biblical month of Av, historically linked to judgment and calamity, begins—

      ===============

Followed by Elul which is linked to repentance/soul searching. So calamity then repentance.

.....and some say the original meaning of "Elul" comes from the Babylonian word Akkadian which means....harvest. The Jews imported or adopted this term during their time in Babylonian captivity.

    2. Interesting to note about ELUL...

“And Isaac went out to meditate in the field toward evening. And he lifted up his eyes and saw, and behold, there were camels coming. And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she dismounted from the camel”
      ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭24:63-64‬ ESV)

ELUL: THE KING IS IN THE FIELD

The month of Elul, the last month of the Hebrew calendar year, is an auspicious time for repentance, prayer, and introspection. These are special days of divine mercy, and the very essence of these days highlights the basic human need for closeness to the Holy One, blessed be ... and His immediate and unambiguous response.

Elul has a history of being a time ready for forgiveness: After the golden calf episode and God's later forgiveness to the people, Moses climbed Mount Sinai again on the first day of the month of Elul and remained there for 40 days. He came down on the 10th of Tishrei - Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement - with the second set of tablets and the promise of redemption and forgiveness.

Each year, this 40-day period is repeated and brings with it the opportunity - and the challenge - to prepare us for the incredible experience of the fast approaching Great Holy Day, when all descendants of Adam - each and every human being, each nation, will be judged.

The word Elul in Hebrew is an acronym, an abbreviation of the Hebrew words:

      "Ani L'Dodi v'dodi li:"

I am of my beloved and my beloved is mine"(Song of Songs 6: 3).

These words of song of songs are really the theme of this very special month (A special moment for a GREAT MEETING).

  23. When we rebuke other's, regardless of intent, we are in good company. Even the disciples weren't immune from such occasions as witnessed in Mark 9:38-41
38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
40 For he that is not against us is on our part.
41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

    Take heart in Jesus' response.

    Maranatha and Amen

  24. Family, Blessings. As we struggle with Grace and Righteousness and where the line exists between the plowman and Lord Of The Harvest, I bumped into an article which, upon quick review, seems a balances and good contribution to the chat. Interesting, to me, is the elbow he throws at Mike Bickle's ministry for going to far afield from Sovereign Authority as I have interacted with that ministry and find it a blessing yet also see the critique as likely valid. In any event, may it enrich your understanding, here is an excerpt, tied to the article's title, "Even The Stones Would Cry Out." and the Pharisee's demand that Our Lord Silence The Crowd, and the link:

What was Jesus’ response to these religious leaders? “…if they remain silent, the very stones would cry out.” This wasn’t hyperbole! I believe He actually meant that the very inanimate stones of God’s Creation would be animated and would praise God for what was happening if people didn’t Think about that and God’s sovereignty.

Jesus is pointing out the clear and undeniable FACT that even if/when people fail to do what God wants, God’s will does not fail. Even when people work against God’s will through disobedience, God’s will occurs anyway. This is not only true of people, but it is especially true of Satan and his fallen angels who work 24/7/365 against God’s will. Has Satan ever won? Will he ever win? He is fully limited by God’s will (Job 1).

  29. Hey, Lyn...good to hear from you as always. Just read your article and like always, it's jam packed with good info to chew on, but I do have a question. You said God is prompting ya'll to make a move, but you didn't mention if He gave you any direction as to where you guys should go, or if you are already in the process. Not that I want to know the "where" of it, but just if He is as yet leading you on that part as well. I've heard some other watching Brethren talk about being relocated in the midst of what surely appears to be our last moments here and some days I myself feel such a longing to go somewhere else, but other than Home to Him, I have no idea what direction that would even take us. Ofc I understand that what seems totally crazy to us may well fit in with His Perfect Agenda, but if He told me to up and move, I'd just have to have some leading as to which direction to go before I could act on it. If you are already in the process, then I can only assume He has led your move through either a direct Word or laying out the circumstances. Just curious--not on the where, but on the generalized "how"--if you're inclined to share that. Blessings, Sister:-)

“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you” (Eph. 5:14).

“Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me” (Song 2:13).

  34. Ryan, praying for NZ, but from what I've seen so far of your govt. there and that lady in chief,
I imagine they are as "gun" ho as the rest of NWO'ers to wage war against all that is good and right in the sight of our Lord God Almighty...so not holding out much hope for their human decency to take over there, either. In fact, just as these mass shooter/puppets are emulating each other, these politicians are doing the same culturally and ethically worldwide and they are willing to murder the youngest, the oldest and the in-between to accomplish their goals. BUT the Good News is--their days are seriously numbered. Blessings, Brother, and Even so, Lord, come quickly!

  35. Abortion is not entirely illegal in either New Zealand or Australia. It is restricted in both countries. Australia has differences between states like the USA. In New Zealand it is only allowed for serious danger to life, serious danger to physical or mental health, incest, mental sub normality or foetal abnormality up until 20 weeks gestation; after that it is really only for the life of the mother. You also have to get two doctors to agree with it. In actual practice 98% of NZ's abortions are performed under mental health grounds. So you can get abortions if you want you might just have to travel in some cases because:
The unborn child has no legal statutory rights.
Nobody can claim to represent the interests of the unborn child.
Certifying consultants routinely ignore Parliament’s intention to restrict abortion.
Certifying consultants are immune from criminal prosecution.

The reforms to the law would make getting an abortion easier from the sound of it, including late term abortions.

  37. Thank you for your information on abortions in NZ and Australia, Rebekah and ZL. How extremely depressing. I am getting so weary of it all. Having two new grand babies, both turning 1 in a couple of weeks, if I don't hold on to my emotions, I could just start sobbing and never stop. Please, please come, Lord Jesus.

  38. WITH the astronomical turning point marking the change in season—the autumnal equinox—just over a week away, events on earth seem to be nearing a critical juncture as well.

The unprecedented attacks on a vital Saudi oil facility Saturday—which took out nearly half of the kingdom’s oil production and 5% of the global daily output—is being called a “game changer.”

Not only does the attack represent a major escalation of Iranian aggression, it introduces a new level of insecurity to the energy markets. Traders will likely begin to factor in the new risk that millions of barrels of oil may be instantly taken off the market. While the nimble output of U.S. shale may help to counter such events, the market’s reaction time is months, not days or weeks, and nowhere near enough to replace several million barrels.

Add to the above increasing economic and geopolitical instability around the world—e.g., China, Brexit, North Korea, and signs of a weakening global economy—the question becomes, how much longer can things continue as they are before a tipping point is reached?

The answer has profound prophetic implications because Scripture says Jesus is coming back during a time of economic prosperity (Luke 17:26-29). If the days of plentitude are nearing an end, how much nearer might the Lord’s return be?

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
