Is it a Coincidence?

A few days ago Jordan shared a wonderful link to a new YT channel which had a very powerful little video. In the video the narrator shows evidence after evidence that something really big is happening and repeatedly asks..."Is it a coincidence?"

It's an interesting question....some may say a good question, as that little question can find itself bouncing around in the back of our minds from time to time if we are not careful. It's a common question, skeptics use that question to suggest that many of the things important to us are meaningless. Taken to its ultimate conclusion in their logic, all things are simply coincidence and nothing has meaning.... all things are simply the product of random chance.

But we know that is not true.

I spent a bit of time noodling on this subject and here are two of the first verses I came across... notice the identical wording in each phrase:  "ALL THINGS".

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.  -Romans 8:28

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.  -Romans 11:36

What I find amazing is that from just these two verses in Romans, we can literally rest in the assurance that God is intimately in control of all things..... and that He is purposely using all things to work together for good in our lives.

What an amazing truth.

We should never be anxious, impatient, worried, fearful.... etc etc etc. Why?  Jesus is intimately involved in all things (From, Through, To), and we know he is actively working together all those things for our good.

If I could get that truth through my head and apply it to all things in my life... Oh what a load fall from my shoulders!  Lord help it be so!  Help me live in that place of total trust and patience in the knowledge that you are involved in the ALL things happening around me...and it's for good!

I should really have this down by now as John 14:1 was one of the very first verses I memorized when I got saved....
"Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me."
Digging into this, I came across a John Piper article that explored Gods Sovereignty in All things that I just loved.  He teaches on Isaiah 46:8-11... a gem of a passage in which God explains what it is like to be God!   He has a purpose, He has a plan... He will surely do it!  It's so loaded with good stuff I had to print out the article and save it....

Here is the link:
https://www.desiringgod.org/messages/the-sovereignty-of-god-my-counsel-shall-stand-and-i-will-accomplish-all-my-purpose

So read the above article... it will take you maybe 10 minutes to finish, and the rest of the week to soak up.  After that watch the video below...  and like the gentleman in the video, you will have no doubt that none of this is a coincidence.  Not the Rev 12 Sign, none of the other signs... not even the fact that you are on this site right now... Praise Jesus. : )

God Bless you all... Keep looking up, surely our redemption is drawing very near!
Also.... thank you for all your prayers. : )

Ok, one more thing.........Sherry Griffin has a new post out about Hanukkah...and much much more.  I just finished it and it was PURE JOY to read.  Here is the link.... read it and be blessed!

  2. Brad, thanks for staying on point and pulling these great resources together so we can all stay connected and in fellowship. Knowing nothing is "coincidental" and all things are working together for good keeps me looking, longing and hoping that today is the day!! Bless you brother!

  3. Yeah Amen to that Brad.I definitely believe there are no coincidences. When you are looking for the signs of his soon return. The signs are everywhere. Things like numbers like "153" - the net of big fish. Or "311" I come, soon, hold fast to what you have so no man steels your crown. Or 911 - emergency emergency. These numbers, and a few others, I am seeing very regularly on my day to meanderings.

Thanks for the new article Brad.

  4. I do agree with everything John Piper says about Gods sovereignty here BUT... if you carefully (!) ponder all of what he says there's a crucial logical flaw in it: If God is the one and only who simultaneously knows AND plans all things, then He logically also plans and acknowledges all things He abstains from doing (actively). He is the only one who simultaneously plans and rules ALL things - He is GOD. So, regarding John 14:6 b) in salvation, if God does not actively intervene in drawing a person to Christ but neglects to do so the conclusion can only be that He has planned this also from the very beginning. He is the only one who can ever save a man by "liberating his will" to turn to Him, so if God omits that nobody can be effectively saved. Logically, this omission also was His plan and sovereign will. This is a hard pill to swallow for many but John Piper just has proven (double) predestination by contradiction of his own logic. Fully biblical. MARANATHA!

  5. Asking thoughts. Why do some Christians, like me, feel Jesus will wrap things up very very soon, while others see it coming but think we have awhile?

    1. nolongerlukewarm, Blessings. Coupla thoughts. 1st, along the lines below, each of us brings different depth and clarity to the issue. All tuning forks are basically the same: Piece of metal with 2 prongs. The ONLY difference between them is a very slight difference in their mass/proportion. Hence, when struck, they vibrate at different calibrated rates. Thus, while basically the same, they are simultaneously COMPLETELY different in their NATURES. We believers are like tuning forks, resonating with the Divine. Immersion in the Word, with His People, in Worship and personal prayer REFINES THE FORK. Every one has a unique frequency, truly, yet we could likely closely group many together. In one answer to your question, different forks will resonate differently to the same force EVERY TIME. You should expect nothing else.

My 2nd thought is that both positions are completely CORRECT and thus, it is appropriate that some believers' souls, by Divine Hand, are Drawn to Immanency while others, perhaps Appointed for Tasks thereafter, find themselves pondering upon the LONG game of Our Lord, oh MY! Maranatha! As we've recently opened up here elsewhere, and is emerging in various YTC threads of discussions, the End is truly the BEGINNING, no? Wouldn't it only make sense that, in the context of this REALITY, the spirits of some would be Drawn further ahead, in a manner even they cannot put their finger on?

  6. Not even the fact that you're on this site right now..... A big AMEN to that, Brad! I don't know how many times I've realized that our being here is NO COINCIDENCE! Every post you share with us and every comment made or read will serve a grander purpose than any of us can realize now. When we are willing vessels belonging to our Lord and Savior, not one jot or tittle will be wasted in the weaving of His Glorious Tapestry as He WILL work ALL things to the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Just so thankful to be one tiny little thread in His amazing Eternal plan for the ages. Blessings and Maranatha!

  7. Hey, how are you doing? I think that many are not taught about Bible prophecy, the importance of Israel as a nation and so on. People also want to be in this world ... raise families, live out their lives, see their grandchildren. I think too a person would need to look at what they believe about life and death and that is usually pushed aside. The eternal perspective isn't really discussed as far as people are going about the business of living whether in a job, at home, or in a church. Our hearts are easily led astray and our love grows cold for spiritual things, for the love of our Heavenly Father.

    1. Hi Cathi, you always bring warmth to my heart, too, Sister:-) I feel so blessed that our Lord has brought us together in this fellowship. We'll have so much to talk about and lots of endless and joyful time to do that on the other side. Maybe once it's all said and done, we can tend some flowers together and hang out with some pretty birds. I was at Petco today getting Grace Ellen a new basking light (the other one exploded last night and like to gave me heart failure, but no injuries to me or my precious turtle, PTL) but anyway, they had this baby gray parrot up there that was adorable. He played a long game with me of "walk like this, flap your wings like this and bob your head like this". So cute, I wanted to bring him home, but alas @ 2000.00, short of a bird-napping that wasn't going to happen:-/

nolongerlukewarm, the explanations given for that lack of urgent expectancy are probably as varied as the individuals, and I can only answer for what I know of those I know. One thing is a lack of intensity in their personal pursuit of the Lord. I don't hear them pleading for His return and as Cathi said, they've got other plans to pursue yet and aren't feeling quite as needful of being rescued--yet. Another is a sense of insecurity in their Salvation because of a deeply instilled works-based faith. "I'm not ready yet. I haven't gotten it right yet. I need more time." And lastly, it's just the way they interpret Scripture i.e a mid-trib or post-trib exegesis.
But our God is bigger than all of that and He will get all who are truly His exactly where they need to be exactly when He's ready for them to be there. Meanwhile, we just intensely pursue Him, praying always for all that are His:-) Blessings and Maranatha!

    2. Sheila, a few years ago I was going to go through a study of Revelation with a fellow brother in Christ. We would meet at a coffee shop early early in the morning before he had to go work and before I had class (during my seminary days). He had expressed a desire to learn more about the last book of Bible, but we didn't make it beyond chapter one before he confessed to struggling with his security and salvation. I knew right then and there that if we didn't get this issue squared away, he wasn't going to taken in or absorb anything from our study.

Alas, we didn't get very far before we parted ways, but I thought I'd share my first hand experience with an issue that I presume is pretty common in our churches. Sometimes, in order to get a brother or sister to meditate on the Lord's imminent return and also get excited about it, they have to be secure in God's love (via the gospel).

    3. @Jeff, that makes me think of some Suisse brother who (by giving an anecdote) remembered having reasoned at school with some unsaved classmate who asked him how he could believe in the book of Revelation to be true - this brother then replied how Revelation was not written for him but that he ought to read the gospel of John first... ;-)

    4. Thank you all for heartfelt answers. I know we are suppose to remain humble and of course I didn't tell my friends this, but I think I am right. See you all soon.

PS When I left my friends house I respectively disagreed and told her I didn't think anything could stop the fast locomotive coming. Then opened door and train just parked in front of her house. Hope that was His sense of humor. Love ya all.

    5. TY and I so agree, Jeff. I have found that once that works-based faith has been so deeply ingrained, and usually from childhood, it's a hard giant to knock down. When one has always been taught that one's Salvation yo-yos based on the state of their own holiness, the thought of Christ's any moment return can be more distressing than it is eagerly anticipated. And whenever I do feel like some headway's been made with the true Gospel, they often slip right back behind that fear of being caught in a backslidden state and push all thoughts of meeting Christ to the other side of a natural death and just going out the normal way--in a coffin, (and I guess, all logic aside, with just enough time for a deathbed house cleaning).

In my experience so far, it's been easier to share the true Gospel with someone who knows nothing of the Bible than it is to share it with a person raised up in one of those "holiness" denominations. The condemnation they've experienced with the threat of hellfire overriding the gift of Grace is so deeply embedded. I knew a woman who was convinced she was going to hell no matter what because she had willfully backslid by cutting her hair, putting on a pair of pants and riding on a motorcycle. I could not un-convince her and just had to pray for her. And I know a man who never played baseball as a child (and never has) because their Preacher taught that team sports led to alcoholism and an eternity in hell. He's a lot better now at trusting in the Finished work of the Cross, but mostly because he has to live with me day in and day out:-) Blessings, Brother!

I just enjoy watching him when he's casually patrolling his pasture like he knows he's the big boss with no worries:-)

    2. Isn't that sth ... He is walking along in these wide pastures totally at ease ... He likes to lean on people - that is touching. 6. It was funny to herd those cows with no practice in herding at all! They did stuff like stopping at the middle of the road (with average traffic), starting to muse there, another cow almost walked in a garage which doors were open, etc. Of course at the end of the afternoon all of them started to go home (just like in old times in the village where my grandma lived.)

  9. Brad, Great video, very affirming, to the point, so uplifting now. TY also for getting this up so we can continue to poke the last thread and begin wandering around over here too. Watched Hanukkah - Day 444 - Donald Trump & Blood Moons over at REVELATIONCHAPTER12dotCOM YTC and was more of the same, although a bit deeper in unpacking the numbers, but still.

Funny thing, as I meditate upon our words here, and chase scenes afoot throughout, much of which seems somewhat culminated by this video here, it strikes me that MUCH of what our Lord has been Doing, of late, is Demonstrating His Lordship IN THE FACE OF such 'coincidences'. One of the deepest groanings of our souls has been the discontinuity from an explosion of coincidences so ridiculous in their obvious complexity that ONLY Our Lord's Hand could Pull Them together, and yet ... we wait and we Watch.

One 'check' in my spirit, all along, is that Our Lord Will BOTH Honor Himself and His patterns while ALSO Demonstrating His Lordship Over Them, NOT THE CONTRARY. He Will NOT be chained by Sun or Moon or Stars or planets or days or Moed or ANYTHING ELSE, PERIOD. What a tricky space. I think our confidence in the Orderliness of Our Lord pushes too far into predicting Him like the weather, or any other timely event. Still, He Will not disappoint, or be late, wow. So much of the Sifting and Revealing of Spirit Underway seems entangled with this Lordship in the face of patterns demanding action! The multiple inversions and the chase and dance between Concealer/Revealer and his light and dark TWINS, Redeemed and Fallen, who chase and attempt to be like and mock and mimic and here we are in the midst. I guess my point is that at the end of our frustration we should find Our Lord Standing, Loving and Patiently Awaiting for us to get there. Our chase after coincidences brings us right back to His Feet. Maranatha!

I'm not familiar at all with Br Reagans teachings and do not really agree about his reasoning about why the U.S. might not occur in bible prophecy (because the nation would cease to exist as so many born again Christians raptured out LOL I rather tend to believe the quite opposite...) but all I see here is a brother in Christ who has become 80 years now while waiting for Jesus to return which is a long time for man and yet still not having ceased to preach it nor lose hope. No matter how many times "sovereign will" is mentioned by people who'd like to defend that! There's nothing Biblical about the notion that He chose some people to get saved and chose others to go to Hell (either by "not liberating their will" or by some other explanation)!

    1. " The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 9:3) This Bible verse alone should settle this whole matter.

    2. Agreed Nora. For me it is all summed up in 1 Timothy 2:4 - God would that ALL MEN BE SAVED. The rub comes in the failure to understand the stark difference in pre-destination and foreknowledge. God fore-knows all things, because he knows what choices they will make, yet He desires they all be saved. Forcing salvation removes free will and thus they are incompatible. Blessings - Sherry

    4. I call this the Predestination Pickle and long ago decided I am never going to exactly understand it on this side of Heaven. I know that our God knows the end from the beginning regarding all things and I don't. But I also know that if we run with the idea that He has already determined who is in and who is out and no free will to choose during one's lifetime is involved, then what would be the point of instructing us to share the Gospel throughout the world? There is at least one Denomination that I know of that abides by this line of thinking--if your saved, you'll know it and if your not, then there's no point in wasting one's time. So I believe this is one of those points where we cannot get into the Mind of God--which is a good thing because as Sherry so nicely pointed out, it keeps us from trying to squeeze our derrieres into the Throne of Judgement. And that's all of the nickel I've got on this prickly burr. Blessings and Maranatha!

      Delete
    5. Thank you for sharing, Nora because I wanted to say the things you shared when this "topic" was brought up, too, on the previous thread.
It kind of like is to me a circular reasoning ... Yet, there wouldn't be a need for hell if a person doesn't have free will or free choice to believe in His son. They couldn't or wouldn't be held accountable for who they say His Son is. That wouldn't be a good God. A God who judges wisely and justly. It would defy His character who is perfect in everyway ... It would go back to works and our entrance into heaven is based on our trust and belief in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. His death, burial and resurrection.
It is free will/free choice given to us before the foundation of the world as God in His foreknowledge knew man would reject Him. Yet, he still created man, told Abraham to slaughter his son and at the last moment stopped Abraham and provided another sacrifice ... just as God provided His Son as the sacrificial lamb for us! We see this in the heart cry of Jesus over Jerusalem and wanting to embrace His people to his bosum!
I think when we believe or contemplate the opposite we run the risk of our hearts growing cold and dark.

    9. Dear Sheila, You asked 'But I also know that if we run with the idea that He has already determined who is in and who is out and no free will to choose during one's lifetime is involved, then what would be the point of instructing us to share the Gospel throughout the world?' which is very interesting because exactly this argument is most often used to vote AGAINST evangelism urgency by many, like you mentioned. Just from logic thinking again (wink to Nora ;-)) predestination is in fact the STRONGEST motivation FOR evangelism and preaching the gospel just because NO one of us would know who is elect to be saved and who is not! Therefore, we just spread the gospel on the WHOLE field like the sower parable tells us to do and not just onto a part of it (Mark 4:26-27!!) by leaving the rest to God. (Ecclesiastes 11:1)

The very thing is: We do not judge a person if elect to be saved or not BEFORE we preached the gospel to him or her, we just preach. But if someone then claims to be a member of the body of Christ we are called to test if he or she is genuinely saved or not (1 Timothy 5:22) and if his claim is true. But this does not touch the doctrine of election, this is a complete different issue (Ezra 2:62 already tells you about proof of membership in priesthood!). Checking Gods family is not the same as doctrine of election. Nor does predestination have any negative influence on preaching the gospel to ALL people or taking away the full motivation and urgence to do so. Rather the contrary as Paul also says (2 Corinthians 5:11). Blessings around! :-)

    1. Well, since it's the Jimboni hour and it seems kind of quiet tonight, I did have this dream night before last if you don't mind a guest appearance:-)
So I'm in this really big and busy warehouse with lots of people in typical work uniforms buzzing around. I know I work there, but I don't WORK there. I don't have a boss at this place and I guess I'm more like an observer of some sort. Then I see this guy rush up to a work table with boxes on it and he stars ripping open boxes, pulling these car-type batteries out of the old box, then putting them into new boxes and carefully sealing those up. I look around to see others either doing the same thing, or running around gathering up the discarded boxes, so I ask him what it is he's doing. Without looking up, he says "We're changing the brand."
I said, "But you're just putting the same batteries in a different box." He said "I know, but it's not about the battery, it's about brand loyalty and we have to get rid of any evidence of the old brand". Thinking it seemed quite dishonest, I wanted no part of it and went to find the employee break room. ( I couldn't make out the writing on either box)
I got there and went in to a very cleanly almost surgically scrubbed gray room full of those white portable tables and folding metal chairs. It seemed empty and quiet so I headed over to the coffee station where I saw what looked like a silver address book laying there. I flipped it open and realized it contained a list of people who were sick in the hospital and in need of prayer. As I was mulling it over, an average looking lady stood up from a corner table I hadn't realized was there. There were two men I couldn't really see sitting with her. She walked over and put some paper money in my hand and asked me to play "WIPEOUT" on this jukebox I hadn't noticed was there before either.
I looked at the money and back at the jukebox and told her there was enough to play several more songs and asked what others she'd like to hear. She said, "No, I'll choose the others
later. You just play "WIPEOUT" for us now. I shrugged and said okay, thinking she just assumed I'd know where to find it and I started flipping through the menu tabs figuring that it would be near the end alphabetically, then woke up at 6:31 am, got up and wrote it down.

"Wipeout" is a song I've not heard in many years and never did like, so I thought this was strange, but I did look up the time 6:31:

Strong's G#631--apomasso--to WIPE off, WIPE clean, to scrape away (1x) in Luke 10:11-12 KJV

H#631--asar--to tie, bind, imprison--(70x) and all of the connotations with that.

      Any thoughts on this one?

    2. ROAD TRIP!!
"Wipe Out" is an instrumental composed by 4 composers . It is a twelve bar blues first performed and recorded by The Surfaris in January 1963, almost on the spot, as a suitable B-side was needed. (Wikki)

      Surfaris J556 E696
      H556: amtsah: strength Zech 12:5

    3. 18 And as her soul was departing (for she was dying), she called his name Ben-oni; but his father called him Benjamin. 5 Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the Lord of hosts, their God.’ 6 And when they opposed and reviled him (Paul), he shook out his garments and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd,

and he will guide them to springs of living water,

and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

    4. Hmmm. The insistence on playing the song "Wipe Out" + the paper money makes me think about the Stock Market crashing. This big wave we've been riding for so long is about to crash and wipe out many industries that will need to "re-brand."

    5. What a beautiful promise for us! And to see it buried in there...
When I was writing the dream down, I could see a lot of the overt messaging there with the church being in the world, yet not of it and the changing of energy and loyalty that's taking place as the world rejects us and we reject this world and search for our place of Rest. I was wondering about the silver address book with the names of the sick in it and you find that the word "SILVER" pops up from the name of the one's who performed the song and in Matt.10:9 RIGHT UNDER verse 8 that speaks of HEALING THE SICK.

I just looked up the lyrics of that song (I didn't even realize it had any--all I remember is the drumming) but it's a wild beach party/California surfing song and the album cover depicts a huge tsunami looking type wave. You said it came out in 1963.

Strong's Gk #1963--epinoia--a thought, purpose, design, intent 1x Acts 8:22 KJV. (This has to do with the purchasing power of money which connects back to Gk#696 and Matt.10:9 which if you read on thru to Matt.10:15 connects back to G#631 and Luke 10:11-12 KJV

H# 1963--hek--how? I don't know, but for the Grace of God:-)

I believe it's confirming a warning to the world and another encouraging heads up for us.

      Blessings, Brother!

    6. Jeff, that's a hugely interesting take and I can see both a financial tsunami as well as a possible physical one on one or more coasts and perhaps while Israel is planning to rededicate the Altar with 70 nations in attendance.

Actually the Strongs H# 1963--hek--how? 1Chron.13:12 KJV re David's trying to figure out how to brink the ark of God home after Uzza was killed for accidentally touching it.

    9. Oh,, I remember that song very well, Sheila. During my high school years I spent a lot of time at the ice skating rink. When they would play WIPE-OUT all of the sudden little kids were sprawled all over the place. At the time, I wondered if that was just a coincidence or the power of suggestion. But looking back on it as I oddly have from time to time, I think the older kids (elite) were tripping the little ones (oblivious) to make them fall. Seems very up-to-date and relevant to me!

  19. Our brother Brad gave us a wonderful topic to ponder with Gods almighty and omniscient sovereignty and providence, always aimed at His glorification and our best, based on scripture and framed into an article by John Piper (link above).

Today, I was again reminded of the very difference our blessed (eternal) hope makes in a person (1 Thessalonians 4:13) when watching this little interview of brother L.A. Marzulli who LOST EVERYTHING EXCEPT OUR FAITH AND OUR CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS (12/6/2018)" in the light of the book of Job or like Paul experienced it in prison (Philippians 4:11-14). Unlike Job, L.A. still didn't lose his children in the Cali fires but yet it seems hard to in fact only be left with some of your clothes on after some 30+ years of following Jesus and building a ministry.

I am reminded of Daniel in the lions den which also was another late trial of faith for a mature believer. Look how God already has worked on L.A.s heart and ways, given him new projects to work on and not to weep over earthly posessions or wanting to go back to CA as he intended to just after the calamity happened. So great to see him like this, I am deeply moved and pray for everyone of you going through tough times like our brother, in illness or health, in poverty or wealth, in freedom or in prison, please always have in mind it CANNOT get worse than this except you might lose your eternal hope in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 10:35). Hang in there and get going as God keeps you going! All glory to Him, MARANATHA!

There is really interesting interview @SkyWatch TV titled "Five in Ten 12/6/18: Rabbi Zev Porat-The Sanhedrin's Letter to the 70 Nations" re it's prophetic significance and this unique willingness of the Sanhedrin to reach a compromise with "Christians" via the Noahide laws. All you have to do is agree to deny Christ and put your trust in the law. We are so close to going Home.

    2. Hello....Hello...is this thing still working. Never seen it so quiet...hmmm. Well, anyway just read the most crazy thing @breakingisraelnews.com. "BIN EXCLUSIVE: Campaign To Construct Messianic Golden Royal Crown". Excerpts:

"Rabbi Yosef Berger, the rabbi of King David's Tomb on Mount Zion has initiated a special project to create a golden crown to be presented to the messiah-king upon his arrival in Jerusalem." and this, "Creating such a crown, he said, and uniting the 70 nations of the world around the project, will hasten the arrival of the king."

And then they have an invitation at the bottom of the article that reads:
"Help Us Create A Golden Crown For The Messiah-King", with a more info link.

This was a jaw dropper for me.

    5. It's still working momma Sheila. I personally am just quiet at the moment. Nothing to say at the moment that hasn't already been said.

Oh wait there is one thing...I was at a kids bday party today and when I left and was pulling out of the parking spot, I was commenting about how many twins there were (at least three sets), just as I said that a mother with yet another set of twins walks by. For real!

I just read John 11 yesterday. Verse 16 makes a point to tell us that Thomas was often referred to as Didymus (the Twin). Is there more to that?

      Delete
    6. Dear brother Miguel, BINGO 'Nothing to say at the moment that hasn't already been said.' This was my first thought when I read Sheilas comment too! :-D

To me it also seems 'quiet' in politics (OK except France), in the heavenlies or in Israel just as Zechariah 1:11 describes; makes it still harder personally to watch through all the old 'House' and 'The Good Wife' seasons on Amazon (although they're pretty interesting sometimes) but it's just getting more nonsensical and absurd life on this planet... I so much want to leave here I plead with the LORD to hurry up daily! MARANATHA

    7. Glad ya'll chimed in. I was beginning to wonder, but with the weather so rough like it is in many places, it might be a good time for some quiet reflection. Hope you enjoyed the concert, Cathi. It does seem the closer we get to the end of Hanukkah and this Altar Dedication ceremony, the stranger it gets.

Miguel, the Twins (or Mirror) themes do seem to be everywhere. Re Thomas, he had to see to believe is my first thought, just like those during the 70th week. Have to think on that one a bit as I'm sure there's more to that:-)

      Blessings!

    8. Thomas 'Didymos' is mentioned THREE times in the gospel of John: John 11:16 / 20:24 / 21:2 each in different context. Obviously, he was a very passionate disciple by character but also easy to be disappointed. Maybe he had a literal twin like with Esau and Jacob or Pharez and Zerah or maybe this was a nickname used to describe his personality (like with John and James named Boanerges the 'sons of thunder' Mark 3:17). I tend to believe the latter because of the context of events Thomas is described. The Greek concept of 'soul duality' may also be an explanation:

      https://philosiblog.com/2012/10/29/love-is-composed-of-a-single-soul-inhabiting-two-bodies/

If you look on this ancient Greek way of thinking in a biblical way, Thomas is the disciple character who strongly loves Christ with passion unto death and fervently seeks for joining with the love of the "other person" (= Jesus Christ) who alone can complement and fill the lack and need of his soul. Psalm 116:7 In fact we all are such a type of "two souls one heart" seeking relief until we finally recognize Jesus as 'my Lord and God!' like Thomas did.

    9. Family, Blessings, ALL. Sheila B., yes, it seems a quiet has fallen, as I commented on Colleen M's earlier share, well worthy of a watch, ofc, and relevant. Again, we turn to Our Lord, amen.

Miguel P, I have a treat for you, and for all. In my last dig I encountered TWINS, but, for some reason, couldn't keep that puzzle piece on the table, not that I tried to force it. Still, I couldn't get my fingers on it, got entangled in the unpacking of the sister reference and then ended up entirely leaving out of the post, inadvertently. When 1st flipping it in my hands, like a coin, in the air, pondering it, I immediately knew you were entangled with it too, for us. So, at that early stage, made a mental note to interact with you around it, somehow, as it got unpacked. When I realized it had been left out, I felt to let it be unless you went and found it, as you would 'alight' upon the TWINS, ofc, or if you elicited it in some way otherwise, or, if anyone noticed the ONE pice I had omitted in the find:

      Wipe Out J1324 (E1144 above)

G1324: Didumos: DIDYMUS: Usage: the TWIN; Didymus, the Greek name equivalent to Thomas. (3) John 11:16
      H:1324: bath: a bath (a Hebrew measure): (13) 1 Kings 7:26
Sum of all ‘baths’ 45,065.1 sum = 21

Praise His Mighty Name and His Loving Care of Us, Amen!.

      Delete
    15. Jimboni, I don't get it with "baths" - this is a measurement of liquid and 1 Kings 7 describes how Salomon built his OWN house (not the temple of God) so in fact I can see no connections at all to 'twins' here. Am I missing sth?

      Delete
    16. Annabel, While the TWINS theme has been throughout our Wise Men's Journeys, it is also a specific marker HERE, amongst US, and, going further, is a point of understanding of special significance between Miguel P, and myself, arising from conversations we had when he arranged for us to meet at lunch, this past Summer.

So, it's placement HERE is significant more as an affirmation amongst US than as a detail to watch for or connect in the larger world. As I had stated, I had omitted, left out, one part of the dig I did on Sheila B's dream and felt The Lord Directing me to do so unless Miguel P brought up TWINS, WHICH HE DID in a totally unrelated context, after being Directed to do so by a PATTERN of circumstances he SAW as possibly G-d-Breathed, AMEN!

      Delete
    17. Annabel, now, adding to that Sheila B.'s addition of the unpack, which I was TOLD WOULD COME LATER FROM THE FAMILY, seeing, as she did, the obvious message, HIDDEN FROM MY EYES until she found it, of KINGS 726. That 'completes' the TWINS I was Given concerning this DIG, WOWZERS!!! Maranatha!

      Delete
    18. Annabel, oh, to answer your question directly, the thing I left out, because I couldn't figure out how TWINS fit into the dig, EITHER, involved TWINS being behind the word DIDYMUS, in John (what Miguel P 'happened upon' after seeing all those TWINS) and then this other ref about "baths". So, there was NO CONNECTION I could see, so I left it out. The 'connection' was a Divinely Orchestrated Dance here, methinks, to Dazzle us ALL and Tell Us HE IS COMING, Maranatha!

    19. Jimboni, LOL OK I'm leaving that here as my cerebral gyri now even are more twisted than before you answered so I now have to untangle them again overnight... TILT!! Need my brain working again tomorrow. ROTFL! :-D Blessings to you!

    21. OK, Sheila B., so, here’s the last (next?) Unpack on this Anointed Dream Journey He Has us on. It is so funny it almost belongs in a Kid’s Show (Matthew 18:3).

So, it seems the obvious detail I wasn’t seeing was the 726 connect, in our faces, duh. The Didumos Detail was, IMHO, mostly Designed to Supernaturally Show Us His Hand, Amongst us, amen. This last piece is Play upon word upon wordplay.

The Song at the Heart of this Unpack was Wipe Out, about a surfer losing it on a board. I then took that metaphor and said we’re about to get MAJORLY wet (Spiritually yet, possibly, MIRRORED physically as well, TWINNING). Well, funny that the element in the 726 verse, behind the idea of ‘726’ being the ‘hit’, is ‘bath’. Sure, it’s a unit of measure, like a cup, or liter, but the word also refers to where one bathes, IN OUR LANGUGE, NOW. Like I said, again, Our Lord Affirms the Unpack relating to Overwhelming Water as a Picture of Spiritual Deluge/Carrying Away, in a Wipe Out, you get wet. In the verse behind 726 we find 45,065.1 BATHS and that’s a LOT of water, metaphorically speaking.

Well, in a Bath you also get ENTIRELY WET. Assuming the average 80 gallons in a modern tub this works out to 3,605,208 gallons if each ‘bath’ in Scripture were a tub of water. MANYFISH?

    22. Oh, my....Showing us His Hand. 'Bout fell off my chair on that. Of course, He showed Thomas His hands after 8 DAYS! John 20:26 KJV
Could this be another pointer to the 8th Great Day?
"And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: THEN CAME JESUS, THE DOORS BEING SHUT, AND STOOD IN THE MIDST, and said, Peace be unto you.
      (Emph. mine)

Is.26:20 KJV "Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee; hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast."

I guess it's been a worry to me not being able to get so much of what what we've all been seeing across to my loved ones, thus these "Thomas" pointers have been really thought provoking for me and have me searching around that good ground prayer-wise in hopes of producing a more effectual witness to them. 4. I hear you Sheila, about our loved ones refusing to hear the message of the free gift of salvation that we are tirelessly trying to make them take in. (My wife is still not hearing it) It is like talking to a wall. They just can't grasp the seriousness and urgency of the situation. So sad. But all glory to God. I have accepted it is possibly our fathers will, that some of our loved ones go through the great tribulation period. I still pray (practically daily) for a last minute sign to reach them before the Rapture, but always finish with, if it is your will.

At the moment, they don't appreciate what Jesus has done for them. They don't feel like they need a SAVIOR. They need to be refined in the fire, like gold does.

Also imagine what Glory will come to God, when your loved ones see you disappear, and find your left behind letters. And realise everything you were telling them was the truth. They would then have unshakable faith, and will probably win more souls, with their immediate circle, their own siblings, their extended family and their colleagues, than we (most of us) won in our life as effective Christians. We pray, and hope. And we look up. Especially tomorrow.

    6. TY, Jordan. I think you may have hit the nail on the head. While mine are Christians in faith, they are "sleepy" Christians who would be content to remain asleep as they navigate this world and they do not realize the depth of what Jesus Christ has actually done for them. I often want to jump up and down yelling HE DEFEATED DEATH AND HELL FOR YOU!!!! GET EXCITED ABOUT THAT AND MAKE HIM YOUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!!!! And you are right, I know He's got this and He will wake them up one way, or the other, but it is my fervent hope they will, as Paul Dawson just said, "Get Their Own Oil" because I honestly do not know exactly how this is going to play out for those who are not Rapture ready. I wish I did, but hopefully, those who think it's not anywhere near happening will just be very surprised.

I met a really sweet 88 yr old lady today and she is a church going Christian. She's all alone in this world family-wise as her husband of 63 yrs passed away and they never had any children. She is extremely educated, active in the community, and has a nice big, albeit "lonely", home. Even tho she is quite self-sufficient, I wanted to share with her the hope of His very soon return. She laughed and said, 'Oh, no dear...that's not going to happen anytime soon." I asked her if she knew anything about Israel and what is about to happen there tomorrow. She seemed confused when I told her and lined up some of the precursing details for her. Then it was like she just decided that information does not compute and changed the subject. ARRGGH! I know the church she attends is a Bible-based church, but like so many others, they do NOT teach or touch Prophecy and these people are left to sleep on. This was a humbling reminder to me of what an unmerited GIFT our wakefulness truly is:-)

    7. Dear Sheila, your encounter with this old lady is EXACTLY what the Jan Markell interview sessions below I posted are about. Honestly, what you told about her doesn't seem as if she's truly born again but rather "church going" as you said...

We CANNOT force anyone to believe what we know. It seems to me that the late hour now makes many genuine Christians want to yell the gospel into the face of unbelievers. But that isn't scriptural either. The foolish virgins ASKED the wise ones about the oil, not vice versa. Think about it! ☝

    8. Annabel, I did watch Jan's interview with Dr. Frazier and sadly, that is so true. While I certainly cannot judge anyone's true heart re Christ after a short conversation, I can usually determine their state of anticipation when it comes to meeting Him. I know we all have different callings re our service to our Lord, but I don't believe willful ignorance is going to fly as an excuse and a whole lot of Pastors are going to have a lot of blood on their hands, no doubt. But what I believe the Lord showed me about the Body of believers is that while all are not called to see everything we who watch intently are seeing, there is a reward for those who willingly support those who ARE called to man the Wall. And that makes sense to me as there are many day to day occupations in the service of the Lord that have to be tended to and someone has to go out and make provision for the family. With only 24 hours in a day, everyone cannot be doing the same thing.
That said, last night at supper, I demanded the family's undivided attention and explained to them the importance of being ready for what is coming and the blessing that our God has given when He provides the Body of Christ with those who've been called to this Watch because it is happening NOW, ready or not. Then I put their hearts in His Hands and His Will, with the reminder that THIS was the ultimate purpose of the Cross--to bring as many as will come home with Him to the Glory of Almighty God through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ.
      Blessings and Maranatha!

  23. Hello family, I still am grateful for the internet still working and I want to share with you today some really good input by #JAN MARKELL YTC from a few weeks ago:

LAODICEAN LIES -DR GARY FRAZIER (11/17/2018)

THE LONELINESS OF THE REMNANT BELIEVER - PASTOR TOM HUGHES & MARK HENRY (11/24/2018)

Both are around 1 hour listening and worth the time. Personally, I find the description of the North American church development so interesting because in my country I have indeed experienced this decline much earlier already and thus had always cling to Matthew 18:20 in my own family, never having found any sound local church near my place. This is just confirmation to me how near the end of church age must be. MARANATHA!

  25. Brad, you are so timely with what you post! I see the Lord working through you as a type of pastor to the saints who visit your site. You minister not as a mainstream pastor does but as the Spirit of our Lord leads you. Your efforts have not been rewarded in this life (nor have you looked for that), but will definitely be rewarded in Eternity!

Having read the first article you posted above and then watched the video, the two were meant to be linked. As we eagerly (sometimes too eagerly?) look for when we will be caught up, it is easy to forget the sovereignty of our God. I appreciated what Jimboni said--" I think our confidence in the Orderliness of Our Lord pushes too far into predicting Him like the weather".

You wrote: "I should really have this down by now as John 14:1 was one of the very first verses I memorized when I got saved." I know exactly how you feel! But have you noticed that once we seem to pass a certain level of trusting Him, that something more difficult comes into our lives to drive us to turn to our God and have to learn to trust Him yet again? We NEVER stop maturing do we!

It seems the Spirit is revealing Hanukkah as our harpazo time (https://lynmelvin.blogspot.com/2018/12/heaven-and-nature-sing.html)
If we as fallible beings have missed the mark on this one, it is so very good that you have already reminded us--..."Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me."

Regardless of the "calendar," the sacrifice is happening tomorrow Dec 10 on the last day of "observed" Hanukkah.

Perhaps the "supernatural" happens on the Father's calendar around the incoming blood moon.

We all have learned so much since this time last year!

    2. Jordan and Charlie, I just finished listening to Kim's video and was so impacted I came here to share it. I was unfamiliar with her and someone sent me a link. It rings absolutely true in my spirit. It's one of those "once you see it, you can't unsee it" It's clear as a bell now and follows right on with Paul Dawson's Altars video. "Strange things happen when people build altars." What came to my understanding listening to Kim is - Israel will throw a stake in the ground tomorrow with the building of the Temple to directly disobey everything Yeshua taught and did at His First Coming. This is all about the rebuilding of the Third Temple, which God used the nations to destroy, replacing the Altar and physically making a blood sacrifice and coming INTO COVENANT (with death and hell) with the 70 nations who will be sprinkled with the blood of this offering. It's very reminiscent of Moses sprinkling the people at Sinai. Oh, Woe, this is not pleasing in God's sight and we must be on alert and on guard to prevent anyone we can from "coming into agreement" with this business. Yeshua is the final atonement, the only blood sacrifice and this is a slap in the face toward Yahweh and His Son. I cannot express the witness in my Spirit on this one. Be Aware - Blessings - Sherry

    3. I just finished that too. Kim really made the covenant with death come to life.
      Wow.

Also listened to Amir and made note of his take on the nascent (i think that's the word) Sanhedrin being self-apponted and thus not to be taken seriously. But what occurred to me was that ANY unbelievers trying to act with authority could only be described as self-appointed.

    5. Very interesting - I recall many years ago hearing Arnold Fructenbaum teaching on the covenant and he too believed that the strengthening of the covenant was the re-institution of the mosaic law. He didn't note which part of the mosaic law would be initiated (sacrifices etc), but he was adamant it would be a national (Israel wide) agreement. I think the possible issue with Kims discussion on the alter sacrifice taking place today is that it doesn't necessarily hold to Isaiah 28:15 in which Israel makes an 'agreement' with sheol - which a sacrificial re-enactment possibly is not in the realm of.

Anyway - be interesting to see what takes place (if anything) and Kims perspective should keep us watching and praying...

    10. Ryan, Fruchtenbaum is a treasure many Christians have never had the opportunity to discover. They are truly missing out. His book, "Footsteps of the Messiah" is an absolutely essential for me. He is the "missing link" so many of us who grew up in the Christian church missed, yet he does not get off into the weeds like many of the "Hebrew Roots" perspective do. He is thoroughly balanced, imho. Because he is fluent in Hebrew, he sees things from the original text we've not been attuned to. Love this guy. Ozark, I like you a lot too, you have the most engaging, enthusiastic, seeking heart I've come across in a long time. Blessings to you and much thanks for your kind comments. If anyone hasn't heard of the "miracle" which occurred at the dedication of the altar service today, you should check it out. I'm leaning toward sign rather than event for today, but I genuinely believe this event and the "covenant" entered into is the one which will be "strengthened", probably after we're gone - I pray! Thank you to everyone who so generously shares here for it takes this entire family to keep all the shuttlecocks loaded on this knitting machine these days. Lyn, your work is an invaluable resource to tie those loose and important threads together. This has long past been too much for one person to grasp, so we need our various strengths "on the wall". 30. Just read this at Breaking Israel News (https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/118441/miracle-dedication-altar-third-temple/) posted Dec 10, 2018, at 5:03 pm Israel time:

'On Monday, the last day of Hanukkah, the Sanhedrin called out to the 70 Nations to join in the consecration of the altar for the Third Temple. A full-dress reenactment of the daily sacrifice was held and a representative of a South American nation who attended was the recipient of a miraculous fulfillment of the Messianic promise of the ingathering of the exiles. . .

The municipal authorities did not permit a sheep to be slaughtered on site so one was slaughtered at another location. The sections of meat were arranged on the ramp leading up to the altar in the ritually prescribed manner and one piece was thrown onto the fire on the altar to be burned completely.

About 150 people attended including several non-Jewish tourists. Moshe Feiglin, head of the Zehut party and a former Member of Knesset, attended the ceremony as well.

Mario Adolofo Bucaro Flores, the Ambassador of Guatemala was a guest of honor at the ceremony.

“This is a truly historic moment,” the ambassador said when he addressed the crowd. “My government is pleased to be partners with the Sanhedrin and with Israel in bringing [the] Messiah.”'

IS THIS THE FULL CEREMONY? Maybe I need to re-listen to the video by Kim (mentioned above) because she spoke about a song being sung but this is not mentioned in this particular article.

    1. Lyn, thank you so much for your kind words, I'm grateful you enjoyed and find it useful. The summary above on today's ceremony is so essential. That ceremony, I believe, is today's marker. This is the covenant I believe will be "strengthened" and the added icing on the cake with the "miracle" just pushed it over to the top. How appropriate, a convert to Judaism with no recognition of Christ. I find myself in a bit of a twist over this ceremony and the event. I've always known the "Third Temple" was not of God, but had to be built because its prophesied. I've always looked forward eagerly to any news of its impending appearance, for I knew it foreshadowed our going home. Now, for the first time ever, I am so repulsed by the whole thing I literally was unable or unwilling (perhaps a combination) to watch the ceremony. I, too, like Sheila could not understand all of what they were singing and it just "felt" so wrong I got the heck out of there. I want no part in the darkness and error of Judaism because it is an outright denial of Jesus Christ. Most of you know by now I've felt pretty solid "walking between the fences", but not today. What occurred today was an abomination and an absolute cry for Antichrist and I was repulsed to my toenails. I'm attempting to convey this visceral reaction in order to see if I need medication or if anyone else is sensing what I did. Blessings and Love to all my Brothers and Sisters - Surely we Fly Soon - Sherry

    3. Dear Sherry, I so much would like to hope "this is IT" as I feel this events' significance but yet do not know how it fits into the LORDs imminent return countdown. Unfortunately, as our finances are getting tight especially in 2019 we currently have to stop waiting for the rapture but make plans to "go fishing" again... (John 21:3) As we didn't get any concrete date or timeframe now we simply have to face reality to overcome the next months on earth. MARANATHA!

    4. Annabel I'm really sorry that's necessary, but I do feel strongly this is a further sign, but not the event just yet. If this "performance" today made Yahweh feel as it did me they just shortened their time frame to Jacob's Trouble. Of course, He knew before the earth was formed we'd come to this day and despite all the miracles of restoration to the land, manifest miracles to preserve them through the '67 war and so many absolute assurances of His presence, yet they remain stiff-necked. This, exactly, is the reason the Tribulation is necessary. Sad, and for me today the realization came home fully of what He already long ago knew would be necessary to bring them back to Him. Praying for miraculous fish for you as we all wait upon His prompting to be faithful while we await His leading. Blessings - Sherry

  33. Hi fam,
I just gave a conflict I am hoping I can get your wisom on: re: John 5:18

    John 5:18 ESV
"This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God."

My question relates to that it is well known that Jesus is the only one who fulfilled the law. He is blameless and sinless.

How do we reconcile to the fact that Jesus on many occasions broke the Sabbath, by either healing, or driving out demons. And I know it says, that JESUS is Lord of the Sabbath.

I just would like your views on the command: "thou shalt keep holy the sabbath"

And that Jesus broke the Sabbath, while also was the only one who fulfilled the whole law perfectly without sinning.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Jordan, I would posit that Jesus never broke the Sabbath, only the Pharisee's understanding of it. I do not see Our Lord working with a "Rank has privileges" card here, or anywhere else. My understanding of the LAW as it relates to the Sabbath is not adequate to speak to this from the finer points of Judaism, however, I am guessing that there is much to be learned if we overlay the details of the LAW with what Our Lord actually did at those times (Sabbath) and looked at it in terms of HIS Words on it, amen. Mark 2:27

    2. Just exactly so Jimboni. Israel began their program at Sinai by literally saying TO YAHWEH - Sherry's paraphrase - "Look, Dude, you're scaring us to pieces. We'll do exactly what you want and we'll do it perfectly. Just don't talk to us, tell Moses and we'll do it letter perfectly." This was the attitude of the heart then and I don't see its having changed very much. Jordan the Talmud is filled with wonderful information from a historical perspective and loads of man-made, man-designed ritualistic "interpretations" of what Yahweh "meant". He told them in the Tanakh, this is not about rules, it's about the heart. I will circumcise your heart and write my laws upon it. Nothing happening today indicates to me one ounce of change. We would not expect there to be really since they still suffer from Temporary Blindness and are made deaf to the truth of Yeshua. It just breaks my heart, so I can't even imagine how the Father was feeling today and Yeshua must have simply hung His head in heartbreak. Knowing what will occur doesn't take the sting out of the occurrence. Honor, Love, Attitude of the Heart, Worship, Preferring another over self - these are not simply New Testament concepts. These were the original teachings of Yahweh and what Abraham lived by. Anything and everything else is Pride and it is sin. Blessings - Sherry

    3. **CORRECTION** Thanks Jimboni, Sheila & Sherry for that clear answer. It makes sense now. Jesus is perfect. He kept GODS law perfectly. It was purely to show how hypocritical the pharasess and saducees were being with their long list of laws that were as a yoke around their neck. Nice one. Jesus is awesome

      Delete
  34. I am guessing it is down to The interpretation of what keeping Holy means, as Jesus said, is it better to do good or to do evil on the Sabbath, and continyes, Which of you, having a son or an ox that has fallen into a well on a Sabbath day, will not immediately pull him out?”

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Jordan, Jesus said in Matt.12:12 KJV that "it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days." The Pharisees accused him of breaking the law, but the question is "who's law?". Was it God's law, or their traditions? Remember they added many of their own tweaks to the Commandments that were given by God. So Jesus knew exactly what He was doing and for a much deeper reason than just healing the poor man. He was exposing that in fact with all of their petty rules, they were putting their own authority above the Authority of God and they themselves were the lawbreakers. Deut.4:2. Hope this helps:-)

    2. Jordan, and Fam, breaking fast, been a hard day. Like many have commented, as Annabel, things press in as the days press on. On the positive side, Caleb estimates about 40% recovery in muscle control in his legs now after about 4-6 weeks using the bars I set up to 'walk' between. Very fast progress, as I rather had hoped/expected, and now he steps it up a bit to work building muscle back, wow, what a ride. Your prayers and kind wishes are priceless, thank you. With recovery new fears arise, now, and new emotional challenges for a young man who 'paused' the tape during his 16th-20th years and spent that time mostly apart from any peers. Surely, Our Lord Is Able, its ourselves whom bring concern, ofc. My world really feels like a Rube Goldberg device which has just had 1 more too many pieces inserted after numerous amazing recoveries along the same lines. As I said, when my blood sugar elevates hopefully my faith and fortitude follows, amen. (Not what moved me to post, just a footnote for color.)

I will seek to be brief but we are gazing into a HUGE issue here, concerning the rues placed around the LAW, by men, as a hedge, as it were. Allow me to pin point what I see as root issues easily missed/overlooked esp by the Narcissistic Western Church at large.

The Pride in play here goes like this. Fully analyze the Requirements of the Law and build a 'hedge' of rules around them, so stringent, that, if you focus on following the rules so built, you cannot, BY DEFINITION, break THE Law. The levels and facets of this ungodly hubris are beyond numerous. Then add to that the self-righteousness fueled into Hellfire in the human soul when it's owner is convinced he is CAPABLE OF, AND IS CURRENTLY ACCOMPLISHING TOTAL ADHERENCE TO INFINITE REQUIREMENTS OF THE DIVINE. This was the Serpent Whose head He Came To Crush. His Word on this is CLEAR, still, the predisposition of our hearts to do this is such a part of this Work of the Cross that it carries to His Closing Words on His Entire Plan, Maranatha ! Deuteronomy 4:2 ; Proverbs 30:5-6 ; Deuteronomy 12:32 ; Matthew 22:29 ; Deuteronomy 12:32 and, of course, Revelation 22:18-19 making it CLEAR that this is still AFOOT! Events, today, affirm, sadly. Hebrews 12:2, amen.

    3. Jimboni, I liked your parenthetical: ...just a footnote for color.

I am commenting because even though I feel I haven't much to say, today is so very special/important/peculiar... not sure of the right word ...that I just wanted to join in and be with you all, with my family. In spite of the various emotions that go along with where we are in time, I hear and feel the unshakable faith. I love you folks.

Oh, how close we may be. In minutes or hours or days or weeks or perhaps a few years at max we will be yanked out. Brought to the throne where the King of kings sits. One moment looking disheveled and disenchanted by a world that has disintegrated into total folly, the next moment in awe and wonder to be in His very presence. We will sing and cheer and celebrate in absolute unending truth and purity, among Angel's and heavenly beings no eye has seen nor mind fully imagined.

I'm so very grateful to be given the gift of wakefulness. Watching and waiting with my best friends and family here.

    4. Jimboni, TY for filling out the WHY of it to the WHAT of it there. I never really thought of that from their motive perspective. I knew what they did, but not fully why. I mostly saw it as a control or power issue. Very interesting...and adds another perspective as to why so many have added all of their rules of Salvation to the Covenant of Grace...perhaps trying to build a hedge against committing that one unpardonable sin? Food for thought, anyway.
So glad to hear about Caleb's progress and yes, I can imagine the "what now" emotions that would naturally come with a full recovery. He is in my prayers, Brother, but he'll be okay with you for his Dad:-)

Oh, and if anyone is interested, @James Smith YTC was in Jerusalem attending this dedication and filmed the rituals while offering the correlating Scriptures of God's view on such an event. Titled "Dedication of the Stone Altar for the 3rd Temple in Jerusalem! The Final Generation is here!"

Miguel, we all love you too, Brother, and you'll always have something to add to this stew even if it's just a cheerful word or to refer some info, but you've got eyes to see and I know sometimes that one little thing that doesn't seem like it would amount to much can be a just the right key to open the next box of Spiritual Manna that keeps us going another day with fully expectant hearts. Be blessed and Maranatha!

    5. Yes, Jimboni is correct. The underlying motivation for the creation of what would later become the Talmud is the fear of what happened to the nation during the very first siege and exile (Babylon, circa 587 BC). The nation was so rattled by that experience after surviving and returning to the Land that, by the time of Jesus, they had their own defense mechanism in place, which was viewed as a protective fence or hedge around the Law.

Individually, we have acted similarly to various types of trauma and rejection in our lives. All of us who have surrendered to Christ had to first have our own protective fences torn down before we could let the Lord in to heal our wounds and strengthen our fearful hearts.

    6. Miguel, as I've been reading and catching up on all the comments, your expression of love for this family and words of encouragement of our soon joyous rapture and reunion in glory has filled my longing heart with such warmth and joy...amazing how a few words spoken can be like "apples of gold in settings of silver" in the ears of a hungry hearer. Bless you all dear family!!

    7. Yup, what Keith said, Proverbs 15:23, amen, Maranatha!

    8. Thanks for the love! Holy hugs and kisses to all my brothers and sisters.

Just gotta also say, especially for Jimboni, Sheila, and Sherry, did you see that dream from Pillars of Smoke over at unsealed?

    9. I did see that, Miguel. I could not get to that fireoflife blogspot, though. I tried several times, but I was was amazed at your comments and noted them down. It's so hard to believe sometimes how our Lord has used the Strong's in such close conjunction with His Word, but it is what it is, Amen. Blessings, Brother and we all do need each other to put these pieces together:-)

    11. Miguel P, no, didn't will check it out. BTW, recent Q posts had a pic of Santa holding a HAMMER, interestingly familiar implement to be 'popping up' even if in a logical context of its own, Maranatha!

  35. Spang on, Jeff. So much we need the Spirit to temper our 'reactions' that can easily send us spinning into one ditch or another.

  36. Sheila's comment about 'adding to the stew' and Miquel's about 'family' reminded me of one of my short stories that is on the lite side, but hopefully encouraging.

    'Soup’s On'

Rachael Ray, of cooking show fame, can teach us about savory minestrone soup—the way her mama made it. Quick and easy is not how it’s done. She says it takes all day to do it right.

It takes several cooking vessels because the beans take quite a long time, the vegetables need careful consideration, the greens a lighter touch, and the pasta—al dente! Bay leaf, garlic, sage, rosemary and thyme enhance each ingredient as they simmer and come to full flavor. The herbs not only give unique bouquet, but have health benefits as well.

How like the Father’s Methods is that! He takes His thyme, combining elements to bring out all the potential richness. Some of us human beans simmer for years and years—while needing daily renewal to resist becoming unappetizing. Late comers should respect the early comers and fit in with gratitude, even as their freshness and added flavor can be a welcome enhancement to the wafting aroma.

Yahweh isn’t hasty or lazy when it comes to His Crowning Achievement—the revealing of the rest of His Family. The finale will be well worth the wait.

    2. Oh, C&C, what a beautiful reminder of how we must be mindful of the other "ingredients". If you're a bean you have to get really cooked down, but if your a green, you'll be ruined if subjected to such lengthy, intense heat. What a perfect analogy! I just have to say it again because I do believe it is so important. We are not all beans, we are not all greens, we are not ll spices or herbs and we are not all pasta. However, we are all part of the Soup and necessary to make the pot correctly as our Father so when creating each of us uniquely. Don't be a Grape (as Gary said) and don't overhead the Greens, they need delicate handling. Blessings my Sweet Family - Sherry

    1. Amen CY! And I would call that one more on the "LIGHT" side, Sister. TY for sharing and reminding us that as deep as our own longing is crying out for Redemption, the MORE that make it Home with us, the MORE glorious that LIGHT is going to be:-)

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
