Two Wings of an Eagle....
Gary put together a nice little post describing the recent sharp drops in the US stock market. As others have noted, I am fully expecting a major stock market collapse to occur in the near future, what I am unsure of is if it will happen prior to the rapture or not. Only time will tell whether this is a small correction or the beginning of a major change in the US leading to the collapse of the dollar and pave the way for the one-world currency. We know that can't be far off since to the time-marker we received last September which indicates that we have entered into the timeframe of the events described in the book of revelation.

The country is more divided than ever so it makes perfect sense that two symbols of America (Patriots and Eagles) would be going against on another at a time such as this. Our church aired a special video sharing the testimonies of many of the players from the teams in the game. It was clear that Philadelphia was more saturated with born-again believers. Even the head coach mentioned his faith during his post game interview.

I found it incredibly interesting that both team owners are Jewish...considering the Jewish people will make the end-times 'final', and as always, it interested me to see the Philadelphia Eagles win (which Gary discussed at length).

Dear Ryan TY for that Team owner's hint - but here shouldn't we discern "Jewish" (Judah) from "house of Israel" (10 tribes)? I have learned that it is important not to mix that up. US American Israelites are (mostly) origins from Jacobs son Manasseh in bible prophecy (so is my information). Blessings, brother! :)

Annabel/Robyn - I was interested to see that you believe that the church is made up of the lost tribes etc. How do you interpret Romans 11:11, and when is an Israelite not an Israelite and when is a gentile not a gentile?? With all the genealogical records lost in the temple fire of 70ad, anyone proving themselves to be an Israelite nowadays is going to have a hard time doing this. Do remember as well that the only 'tribe' missing from the 144000 Israelites in Revelation is Dan.
DeleteI'd like to add to Ryan's comment that I firmly believe that the Lord knows it exactly who among the Israelis belong to which tribe. No offense meant really but I think so that the notion that the Church is made up from the descendants of the lost Israeli tribes sounds kind of like *replacement theology* . The Church is including both Jews and Gentiles but as the Bible says, within the Church (which still has a Gentile majority) there's no longer Jew and Gentile, we're all parts of the Body of Christ. There are therefore 3 groups of people in the world: Jews, Gentiles and the Church (which is a "new creation" as the Bible says.) Again, no offense is meant, I say it with benevolent concern but all these notions and views about who is a *real Jew* and a *real Israelite* and who's not leads down the slippery slope and dangerous road of anti-Semitism. To avoid misunderstandings, I'm NOT calling any brother or sister here anti-Semitic!!! I still feel the need to point out that some of the notions that were brought up and some of the stuff that was linked by you Sis, Annabel regarding the topic of Israel and the Jewish people weren't boding well with my conscience! Please be more cautious with stuff like that because many anti-Semitic people use elements and logic of that stuff in their arguments! Not to mention that they're using and totally misusing Scripture, perverting it to support their hatred of the Jewish people which has an evil spiritual source since we know who wants to destroy the Jews. I'd like to make it clear again that I'm not calling any of my sisters or brothers here anti-Semitic in their views far from it! I'd just like to ask you sisters to be very cautious with stuff like that when you meet it, the internet is full of it and a lot of people are misusing both Biblical and secular facts. Right now the State of Israel doesn't know the Lord but He'll lead them to Himself as He hasn't given up on them and He'll use the tribulation period for that purpose as well. At the end, they'll acknowledge Him (after great losses and much hardship during the tribulation period).
DeleteOne more thing I'd like to add to Ryan's thoughts is the Revelation 7 description of the 144,000 Jewish believers sealed by the Lord. Somebody in a comment at Unsealed has brought it up once that the 144, 000 aren't Jewish (and only the tribe of Judah is included in the 144,000.) Revelation 7:4-8 states it very clearly that all of them will be Jewish and all the tribes of Israel will be included in the 144, 000. I'm adding this to support my initial notion that the Lord knows it well which Jewish person belongs to which tribe, He knows the ancestry of everyone and He won't have a problem with sorting them.

First of all, note that Dan is missing, but so is Ephraim, who was prophesied by his grandfather, Jacob, to become many nations. The HS cleverly lists Joseph here instead.
As for Romans 11:11–
The House of Judah (Judah, Benjamin, and Levi, who were the main tribes in Israel at that time), first received the gospel, but rejected it; through their stumbling, the nations (House of Israel), received it. So, as the scriptures say, “the first became last...”
I’d have to research the verses for you, but I’m sure you know the one that talks about those that returned from Babylon to rebuild the temple. Of course there may have been some from all 12 tribes, but only Judah, Benjamin, and Levi are mentioned. Most from the other tribes remained in Babylon. These three were the main tribes existing in Israel when Christ was here, and also when Paul was writing. Romans 4:1,17,18,
1Peter1:1, are just two of many of scriptures in the NT that, for me, show that they were preaching to exiles from the House of Israel. Then there are numerous scriptures in the OT that differentiate between the tribes of Judah, and the tribes of Israel, and their place in the end times. Remember, God divorced Israel, but not Judah; by dying on the cross, Israel’s ex-husband had died (which is the only way she could lawfully remarry), and by His Resurrection, He was there for her to become His bride.
This is just a tiny insight into all the studying of the scriptures that have led to my beliefs. I’m only writing this because you asked; in no way do I intend to argue or debate it, as we are all entitled to our own beliefs on this subject, and I totally respect others and their beliefs that differ from mine.
But I do hope I’ve answered your questions!

Nora, just saw your post and, just to put your mind at ease, my theology is anything BUT replacement theology; it is a theology of recognizing that God specifically let us know in the OT that there were TWO Houses— Judah and Israel. My own personal opinion is that those dispersed in 70 AD have (for the most part) held on to their heritage, and are mostly from the House of Judah (Judah Benjamin, Levi); those dispersed earlier to Assyria were lost among the nations and thereby lost their heritage. I agree wholeheartedly with you that God knows who belongs to which tribe. Furthermore, it doesn’t matter one iota for Salvation! Again, I would never think I “replace” my beloved Jewish friends; instead, I believe we are one FAMILY (House of Judah and House of Israel) to be restored at the Second Coming. ♥️

The antichrist will be from the tribe of Dan yes I know that but ALL tribes are "lost" in other today's modern nations in fact. Perhaps this book might help to understand what I mean and what is my belief about who the 144,000 tribulation Israelite virgins truly are / will be: America and Britain - Their biblical origin and prophetic destiny / by Philip Neal (click!) I have learned a lot from it, even about the origin of my own country Germany (ancient Assyrian "immigrants" - but as an ancient warrior people from the biblical nation which are not the asylum seekers of today from "Syria"). You may check it out for yourself with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and will not have to argue with me about this then (which I am supposed to avoid anyway according to scriptures). DeleteRobyn, I’d like to say it again that no offense meant and there are no hard feelings on my part, I just disagree. I stick to what I’ve previously said. In my understanding there’s the Church (including believers with Gentile background and believers with Jewish background), the Jewish people and the Gentiles. There are also people who have a mixed background both Jewish and Gentile. It’s up to the Lord in which group He puts them. But to me, the Jewish people and the Gentiles are two different groups while we’re all part of the human family of course. Just like in the case of the Church, the Lord has very special and distinct plans with the Jewish people, the nation of Israel that differs from other groups of people and from the rest of the world. I don't mean to add that for the sake of argument either, it's just how I see these things. We can peacefully conclude that we're respectfully disagree regarding this topic.

DeleteRobyn - I think thats the clever aspect of the fact that Joseph is noted instead of Ephraim. Note that Joseph had two sons, Eph and Manasseh. Manasseh is noted as a separate tribe in Rev 7, meaning that ephraim was in fact represented as Joseph here. I have heard different interpretations as to why Joseph is noted rather than Ephraim here: 1) the curse in Hosea 4 on Ephraim (and one other which I can't recall), 2) A recognition in the end-times of Joseph 'the redeemer' as a type of Christ, and that their fellow jews will 'open their eyes' when Jesus (cf Joseph) reveals himself to them.
DeleteLuke 2:36 notes that Anna was from the Tribe of Asher, and it notes some of the other tribes by geographical region (Naphtali and Zebulan) where the israelites from those specific tribes were expected to reside.
Anyway - its all very interesting, but Nora's comments are important to note regarding replacement theology and the like.
Ryan. I will tell you that the responses to my comments are perfect examples of why I usually keep my beliefs to myself. Furthermore, from the responses it would appear that no one has REALLY even read what I wrote, or they wouldn’t have lumped me in the old Replacement Theology group. My belief in no way REPLACES. In fact my belief places the House of Judah (Judah, Benjamin, and Levi) as my family that will be reunited as one at the Second Coming. Furthermore, I see anti-Semitism of late in what you call the Gentile church; if only they could entertain the thought of themselves as maybe a part of the House of Israel, it would make them want to protect their sister, the House of Judah, for SURE. So my belief makes me feel all the more love for the House of Judah— as my long lost sister. I am soooo sick of people being so quick to label me with Replacement Theology. Do they not even know what the definition of “Replacement” is?? I in no way replace the House of Judah. They are my family that rejected our Savior, and will have to go through the tribulation, which breaks my heart.

Remember that there are others who read these blogs but are not necessarily participating in the discussion. We have to ensure that they are 'looking at both sides of the coin' as to make either a justified biblical decision on topics that are raised in these forums, or at least piqued enough to study it more for themselves knowing both sides of the discussion. So apologies again (this is becoming quite a habit of mine) of causing any offence, as again, it is not my intention to offend (unless you were my biological sister, in which case I would normally be a little more purposeful in my offence as to garner a bit of banter).

ReplyDeleteThis video was a great blessing to me. Being a hard core Cowboy fan, I found it hard to root for the rival Eagles, but not now... this really helped put things in proper perspective. There are days when we all feel lost in the sea of lies that we get bombarded with every day, and days we feel we simply don't belong... that's because we don't. We are not part of this world, and it will hate us, because it first hated Him. But be encouraged, because the living God is sovereign and immovable. He will protect and guide us to those who need to hear His saving news. So let us all go, share, and carry on to the completion of the bride of Christ. Our true home is not here, it is with our King, and with each other. I look forward to the day when we will all be able to meet each other in truth, perfect peace, and in His love... and I for one am thankful that that day is not far away. However, the USA may be/will be destroyed from internal, external, and supernatural means. Here are a few events (maybe a combination of a couple or all of them happen) that would effectively remove the U.S. from being an obstacle to the antiChrist’s united/new world order (better known as the Beast System from Revelation 13):
Event #5: Economic Collapse
We are already seeing signs of a downfall this early February. While the U.S. economy and markets have enjoyed a rebound ride due to the loosening of bureaucratic regulations, we see digital currency becoming a major contender in the near future. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that a conversion away from fiat currencies triggers a major, major collapse in the U.S. and around the world.
See also Matthew 24:37-39. Scripture indicates the world economy will be surging at the time of the Rapture (Event #1), but at the same time—it will be one global disaster away from collapse. Ten years ago this would have seemed contradictory, but it is the exact condition we see today. The world’s super power has an economy that is surging with no signs of letting up. At the same time, its debt has never been higher. The economy of the world super power continues to break records, as does its debt—tracking perfectly with the end-time conditions that are forecasted in Scripture.

ReplyDeleteEvent #1: Rapture of the Church
The Rapture (snatching away of the Body of Christ from this Earth) will immediately and unexplainably remove all born-again believers and those under the age of accountability from around the world. Even if this were to remove only 10% of the current U.S. population, that’s still over 30 million people that will suddenly disappear. This event will also deplete/ diminish the U.S. military machine, thus providing our overt and covert adversaries access to the defenseless U.S. homeland/ U.S. bases around the world and will allow them to carry out their military operations where and when they want because there will be no more highly-capable world sheriff.
Event #2: An EMP/ Nuclear Attack
While it seems unlikely that they (Russia, N Korea, China, Iran) would actually attempt this, let alone be successful, it is, however, not out of the realm of possibility. The U.S. is the current global policy-maker that everyone else must orbit around. It could be that they take us out thereby wrecking the current order, so they can remake the world in their image. Also, Russia is and has been lurking ever so closer to the U.S. in recent months/years with an overt military presence (bombers & spy ships) but no telling what else is out there off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts (big and quiet nuclear submarines). It is quite possible the Hawaii (false) alert was the real thing...and a missile was not launched from N. Korea, but from a submarine in the Pacific. So, possible for Russia’s super big, super silent, and super deadly submarines to launch a pre-emptive, crippling strike on America from the water? Hmm, the answer is yes.
Event #2.5: Invasion by Several Adversary Military Forces
Think Russia and/or China cannot reach the U.S.? Many folks are having dreams and visions of war...like war here in the U.S. where we are destroyed by inbound missiles and ground invasion. Remember Red Dawn? This may happen during/ right after Events #s 1 & 2 above.
Event #3: The Yellowstone Caldera Erupts
If the super-volcano that is currently festering under Wyoming were to actually erupt, you could kiss the U.S. goodbye.
Event #4: BIG Quakes Hit
“Scientists” have been predicting the Cascadia, San Andres, and San Madrid faults are due to go...but not for 50yrs into the future...but the question really should be, could the future be 2018? God can and will do anything to get peoples’ attention.
I believe the Rapture of the Church is the trigger. It is the one event that will cause, not only the US economic collapse, but the total economic collapse of the entire world. Just think about it... suddenly several HUNDRED Million people simply vanish from the earth. Those who are currently serving as the restrainers of evil in the highest and lowest of places everywhere in the world. World leaders and workers, financial leaders and workers, industry and technology leaders and workers, those in every place of service to humanity, suddenly just gone. It will be like a dam being completely removed from the largest floodwaters of everything holding this fragile world together. Just gone, and the flood waters being allowed to flow in every area of prophetic occurrence written. The people left behind will be helpless, fearful, and confused. Those who think they can now remove Israel and/or the United States will be able to make their move. They possibly take out what's left of the US, then after trying to take out Israel they are supernaturally destroyed. People will then be willing to follow anyone who looks as if they can put it all back together again, and the deception of the anti-Christ will be immense, very convincing, and hard to ignore... the tribulation ensues as written... just my thoughts... ;-)

Like the comment above, I have a sense that the Rapture of the Church is the key event which cripples the USA, never to recover. No other nation has so many believers in positions of authority. I know we often lament the sorry state of faith in this country, but compared to the rest of the world, the USA is still a shining light. Remove those believers, even if its only 5% of the population would have devastating impacts. Imagine all the mortgages that couldn't be paid, the disputes over life insurance.... lack of leadership in companies/ government. A reset would be the only thing that could bring back a sense of order, and the easiest way to do it will be with a one world currency via digital means. They have the groundwork set to bring this about, but the rapture could provide the perfect opening to implement it. And with the restraining force of the indwelt Holy Spirit taken away, these plans will prosper at lightning speed.

Imagine like this article describes when the grid goes down (click!) I have already had the idea our transformation and the resurrection of the dead ITSELF causing this EMP on a global scale, what do you think? As we live in an electric universe this should be no problem for God to cause this EMP effect of a multitude of transfigurations like in Matthew 17:2 = G3339 METAMORPHOO read the verse and look what happens there in the physical! This might be a good reason for the world to let their lights go out, don't you think? LOL! :)

Its amazing how many prophecies and just prophetic events and signs are happening just in the past months i dont think we could even list all the signs as there are even small signs we may have missed that impact many many people so i think even the smallest signs mean just as much if not more in some cases ! Not only has Erdogan mended the 1,000 year old Shia/Sunni rift, he has mended the rift between Islam and Catholicism.

DeleteStock market has to do with money. Money is the key ingredient to everything that goes on in politics and foreign policy etc.... I have heard it said that Jesus spoke more about money, except the kingdom of God, than any other subject. There was a sudden fall in the dow jones a few days after a lunar eclipse. Based on these things, it follows that the stock market crash is relevant. It may not be your thing, Brad H, but that's ok. Right?

But I think that Erdogan is far from being aknowledged as *the leader of the Muslim world*, especially in the eyes of most of the wealthy Gulf States. Plus, Shia Iran vs so many Sunni states that look at Iran as a very serious threat and their enemy... the Shia vs Sunni rift is "on steroids" imo. Turkey kind of joined Iran but many in the Sunni world don't look at that alliance with favor, quite the opposite.

The Rapture of the Church will trigger the End Time events, first of all the war of islamic world against Israel, and Gog-Magog war. And all enemies of Israel will be defeatet, because they are God's enemies. Ps 83:2. This judgement shows also Isaiah 17:1 – Damascus, then the burden in subsequent chapters of Isaiah is told of these nations. For example Isaiah 21:1-2, and so on. I see the good example in Zephaniah 2 – first the Rapture in verses 1-3, and then in verses 4-11 the Lord's judgement, very like those burdens in Isaiah. The Lord will judge the muslim nations, and my thought here – Islam as religion will be defeated. All God's judjements were also over the false gods, for example the plagues in Egypt. And the AC can come from the Meadle East, but not from Islam. Daniel 11:24, 37 and many other Scriptures. Blessings to all!

Alla - Daniel 11 does not exclude the AC from possibly being muslim as he is gaining a following through deception (possibly in the form of the islamic Mahdi), however his hidden intention is to exalt himself above every God/god. It is interesting to note that people have been publicly worshiping Erdogan (although I am not entirely convinced he is the AC), and in 2016 a pic was shown of people kissing his feet and he was accepting their worship. Also don't forget that Islam was not a 'new' religion back in 300ad, but a reincarnated version of the babylonian ishtar beliefs from many centuries prior...nothing new under the sun etc.
Anyway - I am not saying conclusively that the AC will be muslim, but the evidence for a Turkish islamic AC has far more evidence (some irrefutable, such as regional location) than all other AC hypotheses, and should not be discarded while we need to remain on the look out, as "through his shrewdness He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence" (Daniel 8).

Brad H., As I've previously said, I don't think that we'll find out who exactly the AC is on this side of Heaven and regardless which part (Eastern or Western part) of the Revived Roman Empire he'll come, I don't think he'll be a Muslim (because of an also before mentioned reason among other ones). Erdogan is one of the lest fitting candidates for the AC, imo. The AC will be a big "superstar", awed and worshipped by most of the world and (that's just a guess nothing more) probably in his thirties or 40s. Erdogan's attributes aren't matching any of these things. (I'm aware that we're in disagreement regarding that and we hold different views about several eschatological topics. My aim isn't a lenghty debate anyway.)

Once I've read a study about this topic, saying that the person of Gog appeared in Old Testament times as well concerning some events back then but I'll look that one up again. (Plus, there will be another Gog-Magog attack on Israel when the city of Jerusalem will be also involved I remember so (not like in the case of the one that's around the start of the 70th Week of Daniel), in the more distant future, so there's more than one Gog-Magog event.) This is also a thing I'm not saying as totally sure and to avoid misunderstandings, the Gog-esque leader and that evil spiritual being called Gog is not the same being, I don't mean it that way.
p.s.: In a nutshell, I don't think that the Gog-escque leader and the Antichrist will be the same person and I don't think that either of them will surely be from Turkey. (It could be but it's not a sure thing to me.) Whoever that person will be, Erdogan is not a fitting candidate in my eyes , but that's just me, I accept that you see it differently. (Besides Erdogan, Putin is also worshipped by many in his enormous country and the person who is even more worshipped by his people than the two of them is the North-Korean leader. But I really think so that the kind of worship that the AC will recieve wrold-wide is eclipsing all of that! And Erdogan, just like Putin, is a very controversial figure, having lots of haters as well.)

DeleteWhat if the AC is only partly human aka a Nephilim? Right now I can’t shut this possibility out either. Moreover, what if the False Prophet is also a Nephilim? The Bible calls both of them Beasts; could that be a slight hint to that? I don’t know, it’s just a speculating thought. Maybe I’m totally off regarding all of that. (Btw, many of us have different views about several things concerning eschatology and I think that only time will tell which of our notions, assumptions and interpretations were right and which of them were wrong.)

DeleteMost everyone knows that the re-birth of Israel occurred in 1948 (May 14th); but the signifigance of this date/number goes beyond just one date or event. In this article I will show how this number/date is related to scripture, marks the start of the final countdown to the end of days and is much more fascinating and significant than just one event. Here are the facts --
ReplyDelete1) The 19th book and the 48th chapter in the Bible (Psalm 48) describes the re-birth of Israel and Jerusalem. It's also interesting that this chapter (48) has 14 verses and the fact that the rebirth of Israel took place on May 14th.
2) Psalm is the 19th book of the Bible (counting from the beginning - Genesis). If you go to the end of the Bible (beginning with Revelation) and count backwards then Psalm is the 48th book -- again you have 1948.
3) If you add 19 to 48 (19+48) you have 67. Is it a coincidence that the liberation of Jerusalem happened in 1967?
4) If you add the individual digits of 1948 together (1+9+4+8) you have a total of 22. Would it be a coincidence then that Revelation has 22 chapters? Would it also be a coincidence that the last 3 feasts yet to be fulfilled (Trumpets, Atonement, & Tabernacles) cover a period of 22 days from Tishri 1 through Tishri 22 on the Jewish calendar? To me this is like a confirmation that the re-birth of Israel is tied directly to the last days and fulfillment of Revelation.
5) The coming year of 2018 will be 1,948 years since the destruction of the second Temple in 70 A.D. To this one I must add the fact that this same year, 2018, will be exactly 70 years from the rebirth of Israel. We are told that the length of a generation is 70 years (80 if by strength/good health) in Psalm 90:10. Remember - we are told by the parable of the fig tree that the generation that sees the re-birth of Israel will not pas away until all things are fulfilled. See: Matthew 24:32-35, Mark 13:28-31, and Luke 21: 29-33.
The importance of the information above is that we, as Christians, who are watching (as we are told to do in Matthew 24:42-44, Mark 13:32-37, & Luke 21 34-36) should see these things as signs (in my opinion) that the end is very close. By seeing these things we should also have the sense of urgency we need to prepare ourselves and be getting busy "being about our Father's business"!
I would ask you to consider this -- What are the odds that the numbering of books in the Bible and the way that all these things add up and align with events could happen by chance; given the fact that these things were written thousands of years ago!!

Below is the Flood saga of 371 days. Since the Flood, the calendar was switched by six months at the Exodus so the first month became the seventh. On the observed calendar the 27th day of the second month is slated for May 12th this year.
As we can see below, the Dove flew to not return to the Ark 93 days before the 27th day of the second month. If we do the math back from May 12, 2018 we arrive to February 9, 2018.
This is tremendous in my view. Special thanks to the watch folk out there who helped jog this account of the Flood that has always seemed to be of special importance.
It also must be said that in the Flood account that on the first day of the tenth month mountains were seen. Mountains refer to kingdoms and this time corresponded to Hanukkah Day 7 when the nations were gathering at the UN for the Anti-Jewish Jerusalem Vote.
The tenth month also brings to mind the research of Brad Hurst who believes the Sign of the Dragon was completed at the start of the tenth month since it completed the tenth crown of the year in the lunar phase. The Dragon is of course representative of Satan and his control over those nations, which will soon be ten as represented by the Sign.
