Ron Goodman was given the chance to give the sermon this week again at his church, and as always he put in a ton of work into the assignment. This week he compared how the times we are living in follow the pattern of the disaster that was the Titanic.  (Ron's message begins at the 37:00 minute mark) In his presentation above, Ron compares 6 more prophetic developments to the 6 water tight compartments that were punctured by the iceberg. If only a few of those "water-tight" compartments were punctured it wouldn't have brought the ship down, but since 6 of them were punctured, the water created a cascading effect which was unstoppable.  As Ron shares, from the moment the "unsinkable ship" was first punctured, to the time it was at the bottom of the ocean was less than 3 hours! Hello dear brothers and sisters. I have been meaning to get a new post up for a couple days now, and a kind text from Shelia alerted me to your thoughtful prayers. I am alive, no worries about that...just been quite sick since the weekend and haven't gotten much of anything done. The amount of kleenex that has been used and crumpled in our home is truly staggering, and my poor throat is so sore I could hardly pray for my kids this evening, much less read to them. Thankfully God gave them strength to pray for ME. I don't think there is any sound quite so sweet as your young child praying to the Creator of the World for you....knowing that He is surely listening to each sweet syllable. :)  I will keep this short, but any prayers you can send this way are so appreciated. Can't wait to be with you all soon in the place were there will be no more tears (or runny noses, sore throats and violent sneezes). God Bless You ALL. : )   Lastly, just wanted to share this song ...
