2018: The Year In Review - Unsealed

Image
Hey Guys, earlier today Gary put out an extensive " Year in Review" Article over at Unsealed. I know 2018 isn't quite done yet, but he goes month by month, providing links to all the key prophetic news stories. Additionally, he breaks down each possible timeline that he can currently make a Biblical case for regarding when the 7 year tribulation period will take place. As always, he does a great job so please go over and check it out. Keep looking up everyone!  He is coming! Here is an excerpt and a link: There are now only six Tribulation timelines that make any sense to me in light of dispensationalism, the Revelation 12 Sign, the reestablishment of Israel, and all the myriad of signs we've seen in the past several years. And since I know God's word is literal truth, there's little doubt in my mind that all this longing and expectation and all these God-given signs are proof-positive that we will see Christ with our own eyes very soon. These are the

Prophecy Update from John Haller

Image
Merry Christmas everyone! It always amazes me how fast this wonderful time of year comes.... and goes .  I pray you are all able to spend significant amounts of time with your Savior and your family in the coming days. May all of our interactions point people toward Christ, even if it is subtle at times. He is coming, and God is very likely using what we do and say to our loved ones in His intricate plans at this late hour. With that in mind, may we all be led by the Spirit in all that we say, do, and think...especially when interacting with others. As we approach the end of the year, I have decided to share John Haller's latest prophecy update (see below).  He always puts together a passionate and detailed presentation of many of the latest prophetic developments here in the US and abroad.  It is quite long (83 min) so I have not been able to watch it all yet... but from what I have seen it covers a wide range of topics that seem to be converging on us at this time and should

We Are Not In Darkness...

Image
As we approach the Winter Solstice and the darkest days of the year (for those of us non New Zealanders anyway) I was led back to one of my personal favorite scriptures.  It just so happens to talk about darkness...and the fact that we are not in it with regard to the general timing and nature of the Lords return. Here are a few segments that are from one of the most influential portion of scripture in my own personal walk: But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief.... So then, let us not sleep as the others do, but let us remain awake and sober.....For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ..... Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing. The first section of fifth chapter in 1st Thessalonians is for me, the most potent defense to the idea that "we can't know when Jesus is coming".  We can know.  We are not in darkness... We

A Guide to the End Times...

Image
Todd Hampson is not like most prophecy teachers out there.  I have shared quite a few of his blog posts, articles and podcasts over the last several months because of his excellent knowledge and approachable style.  He has a unique style, and his new prophecy book that I am currently reading is different as well.... And by different I mean better. A guidebook about Bible Prophecy faces many challenges before a single page is turned.  As we all know too well, many people (many Christians even) are put off by the subject... long standing walls are built and most books written on it are fairly dry, uncolorful and hard to follow (especially if you are new to the subject).  This one is different. This one is better. This one can break through those walls. The Non-Prophet's Guide to the End Times: Bible Prophecy for Everyone First off, the entire book is printed in COLOR.  When is the last time you read a paperback printed in full color?  It is also filled with illustrations a

Altar Dedication Reaction's....

Image
Reaction to todays events in Jerusalem will surely vary greatly. How significant is this event... God knows. But reading about the dedication and watching some of the video really illustrates how far they are from recognizing Jesus.  My heart breaks for the Jewish people who's hearts are hardened against their Messiah.... but God has a plan... our belief is truth that God can bring good out of bad. This video below is like being there. Thank you Gary for sharing...  Check it out if you feel led. I could only watch a minute or so.  Sherry's comment from the previous thread aligns closely with how I felt... I find myself in a bit of a twist over this ceremony and the event. I've always known the "Third Temple" was not of God, but had to be built because its prophesied. I've always looked forward eagerly to any news of its impending appearance, for I knew it foreshadowed our going home. Now, for the first time ever, I am so repulsed by the whole thing I lite

Is it a Coincidence?

Image
A few days ago Jordan shared a wonderful link to a new YT channel which had a very powerful little video. In the video the narrator shows evidence after evidence that something really big is happening and repeatedly asks... "Is it a coincidence?" It's an interesting question....some may say a good question, as that little question can find itself bouncing around in the back of our minds from time to time if we are not careful. It's a common question, skeptics use that question to suggest that many of the things important to us are meaningless. Taken to its ultimate conclusion in their logic, all things are simply coincidence and nothing has meaning.... all things are simply the product of random chance. But we know that is not true. I spent a bit of time noodling on this subject and here are two of the first verses I came across... notice the identical wording in each phrase:  "ALL THINGS". And we know that for those who love God all things work

2 Great New Links!

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
